Yea it's the province that I live in. I'll figure out something, but I will make the globe more obvious. Thanks. Edit: Old -> New I had in mind of somehting to place the gem on top of. Since I'll probably add text to it so how about a circular plate which holds the gem? I dunno.
  3. For design class a Green team organization asked our teacher to sorta make us design artwork for it to be displayed. The original assignment was to make a logo of some sort with pictographs or whatever looks good. This is what I came up with. I'm stuck on what to do next because it doesn't really get the message across, or really display a message. I was doing some pentooling in class whhile our teacher was talking and came up with those gradient swirls. The green, blue, and white things that you see. After class I just put a circle between them so it looks like it's going around the sphere. Then fooled around with gradients again to make that gem- like thing. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I ADD. Btw the green = land, blue = ocean, white = north/ snow.
  4. The most common quick shot cameras I see is Sony cybershot and Fujifilm. Both brands have a lithium ion (?) battery so you don't have to buy batteries for it and they range from $150-300. I have a Sony cybershot which was around $250 and 10.2 megapixel which has fairly good quality. It also has a load of functions and various quality modes like wide angle- high quality mode for viewing on HD tv's which is pretty good. The best brand out there apparently is canon so those three brands is where you should look because they have the most camera types on the go.

  10. Milk if it was no big deal you should wait until you make more tags, instead of making a topic just for one.

Shouldn't it be fah-tography? :D I see a lot of those light piccies around, but they're alright I guess. The wave pic looks really oversharpened. Notice the rock in the middle, and the noise in the sky and water. Awesome though.
  12. Looks like Skull_e won; with 4 votes to spare. :)
  13. The forums died once again. D: 3 entries isn't really enough, so this can be closed.
  14. How do you make a lego sig.. C4D spam on a pic with a lego man?
  15. Well this is simple; just make a sig with a spooky theme and submit it to see if it's good enough to win. What will you win? The second best sig, so if you're going to enter you have to be willing to part with it. :c Rules: - Sig size ~ Bah - Halloween theme - Any kind of sig is allowed (pixel, vector, c4d spam, etc) - Due date is Oct. 30. First to 5 winz. OH! If you want to submit an avvy, that's fine. I'll just have a seperate vote. Entries: Killerwatt Skull_Emblem LowFatMilk

Don't you have the psd? You can just take the bg if you've kept it.
  17. Soa replied to LowFatMilk's topic in Art and Media
Didn't realize that was a good thing. You should use whatever you have that you feel confortable with and not restrict yourself.

Can you describe to us what you have done to it?

With new work I just quietly look at it and close the tab, but yours is.. weird? :) It's interesting because I never heard of the program you're using. I do have a little tip for you though- don't try to advance to quickly, keep your work simple and familiar yourself with the program until you can't learn any more. Gradually increase the difficulity of your work so you know how you did it, hence why you get used to the program first. Keep making stuff, I can tell that you'll get a lot better. :D
