With new work I just quietly look at it and close the tab, but yours is.. weird? :) It's interesting because I never heard of the program you're using. I do have a little tip for you though- don't try to advance to quickly, keep your work simple and familiar yourself with the program until you can't learn any more. Gradually increase the difficulity of your work so you know how you did it, hence why you get used to the program first. Keep making stuff, I can tell that you'll get a lot better. :D
Yes it does, it's from the makers of Terragen. >_> It has a lot of the features from Terragen but what I can't figure out is the in depth stuff it has. Like it has the basic controls but it goes even deeper. ._.
Too many weird words and buttons. :c Since I am bored 80% of the time while here in college (massive irony), I'll try to learn Terragen 2 so this thread may be updated every now and then.
I'd suggest not using C4D's for a while until you fool around with defaults or other resources because In my younger Gimp days I'd just put in a C4D just to say I did it. Get a feel for the natural look and gradually in a C4D to make it look more interesting. Imo, try all smudge tags with a render or so so you can find a good place in tag making.
I don't mind the smudging, it's just that it's really basic and I've seen it a lot of the time. A stock > smudged, contrast, C4D's > sharpen. Try something like a digi if you have a tablet, vector, or a photomanip. Just some ideas.
I love panoramas, especially yours. If I were you I wouldn't make a new thread just for 1 photo, you can't really critique on those. Just make 1 photo thread and update it when you need to.
Are random events really random now? I mean that can you get a gravedigger event without training prayer. Because I was wondering that since I lost my full zombie and don't want to train combat. Long story.
O.O @ Glowing lines. I'd suggest to remove them because.. it doesn't fit, at all. It's like writing an essay about a dog, then entering a cat. It doesn't mix, there's no coherence. I think you need to work on your positioning as well, it's dead center. Everything else is fine.
If I made those kind of sigs back when I first started out, I would be very proud of myself. You're on the right track and it won't be long until you advance further. I can't remember what it's called, but those block things you got on a lot of sigs are overused, try to keep it to a minimum. :P I use Gimp too.
My suggestion is to make a collection of artwork together then post it on here. A lot of people are posting single's which the comments, usually bad-ones, can really discourage you. I won't comment on this one because someone already answered it.
It'll be helpful if you asked your question when you made the thread. But anyway, go ahead and ask. I might be able to answer, or anyone who posts after me.
