  1. Yes it does, it's from the makers of Terragen. >_> It has a lot of the features from Terragen but what I can't figure out is the in depth stuff it has. Like it has the basic controls but it goes even deeper. ._.
  2. Too many weird words and buttons. :c Since I am bored 80% of the time while here in college (massive irony), I'll try to learn Terragen 2 so this thread may be updated every now and then.
  3. They're all the same. :|

It's cool but you over sharpened the image. I can tell because of the glowy outline around you.

I'd suggest not using C4D's for a while until you fool around with defaults or other resources because In my younger Gimp days I'd just put in a C4D just to say I did it. Get a feel for the natural look and gradually in a C4D to make it look more interesting. Imo, try all smudge tags with a render or so so you can find a good place in tag making.
  6. Can't wait to see what the sky is going to look like. I love skys. :
  7. #1 gmv. Everything goes well, not random.

It's probably the texture then because it looks like there's a lot of noise in it.

I love it, but what does Fall have to do with it? Also it's really choppy.

Ah, smudging. 80% of the time, higher strength looks better.. so go with that. :) Look at some tags on PR and you'll know what I mean.

I don't mind the smudging, it's just that it's really basic and I've seen it a lot of the time. A stock > smudged, contrast, C4D's > sharpen. Try something like a digi if you have a tablet, vector, or a photomanip. Just some ideas.

I love panoramas, especially yours. If I were you I wouldn't make a new thread just for 1 photo, you can't really critique on those. Just make 1 photo thread and update it when you need to.

PS = raise the strength so you can drag more around. GIMP = Raise the rate so you can drag more around. :)

Are random events really random now? I mean that can you get a gravedigger event without training prayer. Because I was wondering that since I lost my full zombie and don't want to train combat. Long story.
  16. O.O @ Glowing lines. I'd suggest to remove them because.. it doesn't fit, at all. It's like writing an essay about a dog, then entering a cat. It doesn't mix, there's no coherence. I think you need to work on your positioning as well, it's dead center. Everything else is fine.
  17. If I made those kind of sigs back when I first started out, I would be very proud of myself. You're on the right track and it won't be long until you advance further. I can't remember what it's called, but those block things you got on a lot of sigs are overused, try to keep it to a minimum. :P I use Gimp too.
  18. Smudging can only go so far, add C4D's too! \

I can't see how it's a floating head; his body stretches down the canvas >_> Hai, Gold. ^_^

My suggestion is to make a collection of artwork together then post it on here. A lot of people are posting single's which the comments, usually bad-ones, can really discourage you. I won't comment on this one because someone already answered it.
  21. I see some of Kam's style in there. Happy B-day. \

It'll be helpful if you asked your question when you made the thread. But anyway, go ahead and ask. I might be able to answer, or anyone who posts after me.
  23. Here's an idea on how to color it.
  24. Sigs don't inspire me to make anything. It's more of the art style used like the way someone makes a digital painting. Not everyone has the same technique if you know what I mean. But I always found Digi's with the smudge-coloring style pretty awesome. Like I can visualize myself doing it because it's so smooth. ARE YOU STILL FOLLOWING ME? I don't have any examples because I don't save anything. But if you know what I'm talking about, you know what I mean. Lol. \
  25. .. What? There's only a limited amount of settings you can use for the landscapes. If you used Terragen, you would know. And if you used Terragen, you would know. :) The program is perfectly capable of stunning landscapes. Not to the point where you can create anything you imagine. I know how the program works, you build a random landscape model, apply a base color or texture, then build more textures upon that using the child/sibling thing. I know what you mean about the stunning landscape part but you need experience for it, but it's no where near as powerful as terragen 2. By which I mean there's no vegetation, animals, proper shadowing, etc. I'm not trying to get you in a corner and make you look bad, I'm just helping the other people in the community.
