You forgot one ^ Try to make your renders the focal. You seem to be concentrating on the effects more than your render placement.

Dead center = :thumbdown: No veriety of colors = :thumbdown:

Try fictional characters. Look in a magazine or online for creatures or landscapes which has some shading, it's really good practice.

The first one's the best, because of the shading. Try to add more contrast so you can see the detail more.

You will get sick of PR. You can try not to, but you will. I used to go there every hour but now I can barely go there daily.

Use a lower HB pencil for your sketches, you can add a lot more detail without smudging the _ _ _ _ out of it. \
