Well I usually use a softbrush to blend colors, then use a hard brush for the detail. Soft smudging looks novice most of the time. \
  2. Remove text + border = win.
  3. Didn't you already post this? :-#

    - Could be a background/ effects/ render/ or a sig entirely based on smudging <- good for sprites. - Splatter brushes with the same settings works really well. I don't really like jitter or scatter because it's messy and looks rushed.
  5. RM? What happened to your style..

http://www.gimptalk.com http://www.deviantart.com http://www.planetrenders.net Those are the main source of resources that I use. Just a little tip, don't get too involved with smudging because in order to make it look good to you and to others, you have to understand what to smudge, where to smudge it and how to control it. So I suggest you to experiment with other areas such as vector, manipulation, C4D usage, and tutorials.
  10. Here's how I'll judge them, from a rating 1 to 5. [hide=Team 1] 1 3 4 2[/hide] [hide=Team 2] 2 1 1 3[/hide] [hide=Verdict]Total points added: Team 1 = 10 Team 2 = 7 So team 1 got my vote + I really don't know who made each tag, not one person I recognize. :-#[/hide]
  11. I am 12 years old lolwut. \
  12. Be careful when uploading C4D's.. It's basically re-distributing someone's work without permission.

#2: ~Remove text. We know it's abstract. \ "Text should only be placed on a piece of work if it has meaning behind it." - From the Holy Mind of Soa. :
  15. Very rarely you see a tutorial on how to draw. :-#
  16. Yea yea premade, but it's not in the rules. I had the idea to make a waterfall of smudge.. so this is the outcome.
  17. The first post should be edited.

Since I love tip.it and everyone in it, I'll let anyone wear one (1) of my sigs in their sig space.. if they want to. Just post it and you can wear it. By wear it I mean only use it as your sig, don't rip or claim that you have made it. And maybe give credit? \
  22. Sure. It was just a quickie.
