Haha, i'm with you there! I've been muted since before Rs2 came out lol, i did ask very nicely to unmute me so i'd be able to navigate my way around Rs2 as it was an ''entirely new game'' was that not what they said? But no such luck lol.. They refused to unmute me at all i even said if i were to swear once they could simply bann my character rather than re-mute it.. In all honesty i only wanted to be unmuted for the challenge and still never would have played Rs2 but they didn't know that :wink: They never even give me explanations lol.. Just ''No you're permanently muted and will never be unmuted''

Be careful what you wish for is all i really have to say... You get attached to what you have, i'm not a great one for change and as soon as they said Rs2 was being developed i was already pessimistic. In my opinion Rs2 lost alot of the original Runescape charm.. Runescape had a huge following without great graphics etc because the gameplay was so good, levelling certain skills was extremely hard.. Rs2 came out and completely negated alot of the hard work people did on Runescape.. A few examples being Prayer, Fighting and Range.. I mean i think Beta was tested around about christmas 04? (can't be entirely sure) My point is i got 99hp just before Beta was tested and when i reached 99 hp there was less than 50 99 hpers in the entire game.. Now i daren't even look how many there are :( You may all look forward to Rs3 and with some optimism, i don't play anymore so i'm unconcerned but what you also may find is that when Runescape changed to Rs2 you benefited from it as a lower level.. Now maybe you're higher and it won't be necessarily great. Of course this is completely down to what's changed, i think making comparisons with WoW is a mistake because i really can't see Jagex competing with Blizzard in any way shape or form, again though if they invest too much time into graphics instead of gameplay they'll simply lose more of the charm Rs2 possibly still has (i refused to play it from the start so don't know what's left)

Supa soon turned up to that one didn't he? :wink: When the focus wasn't on him he was happy to appear but he wouldn't dare have us a war. Supa was the equivelant of Ireland (sorry to Irish people you'll see my point in a few lines) What Supa did was the same as Ireland declaring themselves a super power in the world but being both unable and incapable of proving or demonstrating it, he'd declare his clan one of the strongest but simply couldn't back it up in any way shape or form. (again sorry to the Irish) Good god you're a moron; when did Ireland ever declare itself a 'super power'? As much as i'd love to write all of my memories from rs i simply don't have time and don't think it's worth the time anyway lol :) My best memory from rs was like most peoples, from very early on! I had my original character Ad2002e who was all about skills but got stolen, i had Adx1 who was all combat because at the time i thought skills made you ''impure'' i had an assortment of beliefs back then haha everything i ever heard was third hand and therefore it was more like chinese whispers and then i had my pker Shr3k, i think at the time Shr3k was 40 30 48 (i had an odd belief in defence too, didn't like being hit too much in black/mith) Anyway.. One day pking in my full addy and rune 2h (long just wearing no shield lol) i mean anyone who remembers that will remember saying ''no it's a 2h'' like when you were out of the wilderness ''im lvl 150'' all of the true noob stuff haha :) anyways.. I was pking on Shr3k and a bunch of black pures attacked me above varrock.. I wasn't entirely sure why because they were lower lvls than me but then again i think there were 3 of them.. I ODDLY managed to 3 hit one and i mean oddly because clearly i didn't hit hard haha i had no prayer either by the way lol.. I got pilejumped but as that happened it turned out he'd pilejumped me and he had less than half hp.. I killed him as he pilejumped me and looked at the pile to my absolute astonishment there was a 2h there!!! Bear in mind this was back at a time when 2hs and kites were still worth 1mil+++ can't remember exactly how much but if anyone else remembers their first 2h pk they remember the complete excitement/panic i picked that up left everything else and tried running to edge thinking of all the bad things that cud possibly happen and by that time i think i was literally shaking lol.. None of my friends actually believed me at the time until i actually showed them lol.. The only person who actually said ''well done'' was Iampenguin but then again he was a runesmither so it wasn't a great deal to him lol.. Unfortunately that excitement that i used to get from pking eventually subsided. I'll never forget that one kill though because it changed me from being a noob with rune legs lrg long addy plate and addy kite (on Adx) into a noob with full rune and one who had the money to start magic haha :) I was financially set for a while after selling the 2h it was my best feeling and memory of rs :)

Least you got a reason for why she was logging.. She was rude with me and logged without explaining why.. It's as if she wanted to justify the fact she was logging but the reason i'd bsed her in the first place was probably cause i saw her log lol (in fact i think it was cuz she was in my axe hut which is as good as any other reason for bsin someone :lol:) People always used to do that though lol.. It's a way for them to feel as if in some small way they won something.. The last word.. Pride? You have to miss it though.. Nowhere else can you speak to such a concentrated bunch of spastics.. Agreed lol :) I was with Zar when he killed SAX but i was friends with him after that.. He just didn't trust me enough to come pking i don't think lol :P And yeah, you couldn't teach Fist to pk after he got 99 range he came pking a bit with Me and Sue, we just accepted that he was there to range lol :P It was pretty harsh actually cause whoever we were attacking just couldn't win.. If they run from me and Sue and attack Fist.. He was still 99 hp with 99 mage (and blood runes) That was until Fist started training for prayer.. Don't think i ever saw him again in game hahaha

See i knew it! Zorro was a legend haha! The funniest thing though.. We all laugh at the stupid stuff he did on Zorro some of you never saw him on his noob! Now that was hysterical, he didn't like training a whole lot so he'd go and pk whilst Sue and I were still training our noobs up to respectable stats.. Then after inevitably dying he'd have no armor to train his noob with.. So he'd have to take a set of Zorro which would make him think ''let's try pking again'' anyway that was a vicious cycle where it ended up that Zorro Toy had no armor to train or pk and eventually his noob had no armor to train or pk then the bank of Sue and Adx had to open up haha! :twisted:

Well that's why Arkan and I were good pkers unlike the War brothers or Ravoz etc? We used everything that made us lvl 115+ rather than negating 20 levels of combat not using magic :) Oh and yeah, i never pked without magic even if i took weakens i always had mage (i weakened those who weakened me)

Umm yeah i'm with you there lol! I ended up with 23 mil mage exp on classic.. The worst thing about it, when fatigue came out i was pretty wealthy and therefore always pked with bloods lol.. I think a firewave was like 3%? fatigue per shot lol.. Everytime i'd run outa axes and attack someone i'd probably already b 50%+ fatigue so i got about 15 shots of exp and then missed another 20-30 (cause i almost always had catch on svr 8 lol :P) and i think it's 170exp per fire wave? Not sure i've been outa the game a long time lol.. It was every single day too.. Then when i'd pk on free i'd always have deaths.. All my magic exp was from pking lol.. I ended up at #5 i think maybe #4.. I could of gone for number 1 without fatigue :cry: Only for Sirdel to spend another 50mil on natures n wupp me haha :)

I'm with you Unit, i preferred Rs before fatigue lol.. But to be fair it was pretty necessary.. I mean it must have taken a whole month for people to create the program to beat it, i mean there was the one that sent pictures of your fatigue word for someone else to write in wasn't there? O:) Not that i used it on Adx of course. But my main issue with fatigue was that it applied to everything lol.. I mean i absolutely hate being wasteful lol.. The amount of kills i missed trying to sleep and catch at the same time lol.. I mean i had a good method just get them to run straight.. Click the map straight down then sleep.. But due to the law of sod everytime i'd do it the word would be like: Pneumonoultramicroscopicsiliovolcanoconiosis (actual word) and trying to type it quickly i'd inevitably screw it up and be stuck in a world of sleep.. Same goes to when i'd try and escape and mistakenly click my bag.. It'd always be a difficult word lol. Other than that i quite enjoyed fatigue to be honest.. I mean for the begining it just made me train more quickly, i ended up back in the pirate hut training whilst i was actually at the computer but then if i remember correctly i got muted and could no longer talk via pms so i had to afk at the axe hut and talk on msn :P Or in reality turn around and play my ps2 after a while you could just time how long it took to sleep anyway lol :) I'm not actually sure what level i was when fatigue came out.. I'll try and look through some pics n figure it out :\ Another thing in fact! Why did it take time to go down from 100%? the point was they wanted you at the computer.. It should have been click sleeping bag, type word, DONE! You also just brought up another point i still can't quite come to terms with lol.. Why on earth did people used to say ''mage noob!'' i mean it was their choice not to use magic lol? I chose to do it and they cried about it? :? I made Adx Jr incredibly annoying on purpose lol :P 40 1 60 with no prayer and 45 mage lol :P (fire bolts) I'd get prayer beasts complaining to be cause i teleported? Their method of not losing anything was to protect.. My method simply meant just not dying at all haha.. You'd be surprised what fire bolts do to prayer beasts aswell haha! :thumbsup:

I had too many friends to just name one, however i do know who my favourite pker was without a doubt lol. Zorro Toy! He was such a complete clown it was unreal, Zorro pked alot with Me and Sue Me and the things we'd see him do were just ridiculas. There'd be times when he'd have no food and he'd be down to about 20 hp attacking someone 5+ levels higher than him who had full hp and excess food and then out of nowhere he'd just 3 hit them.. Then adversely there were times Sue and I would chase some people leaving Zorro attacking a lvl 80 or something thinking there's no way he could die only to see him say ''?#'&*'' (<- Or words to that effect :-#) on msn. I've never ever seen such a brilliantly bad pker.. He was a rune miner aswell but couldn't quite get his priorities sorted, he'd always still be in the mind of a pker.. So if he was carrying 10 rune ores and someone logged in at the rune mines he'd assume they were miners rather than pkers.. Knowing Zorro he'd enevitably die unless he had friends nearby lol.. He was actually a great pker but whenever i'd ask him to come pking he'd always say ''can i lend a set'' 8-) He was without doubt.. The funniest pker i ever saw and therefore my favourite! \

Chris, i'm so glad you wrote that lol, you're truly the voice of reason, most people made a ''pure'' without intentionally meaning to! I'm also pretty sure people classed having a higher hp than combat was ''pure'' to start with until elitists started appearing and declaring not having magic made you pure.. Why not having prayer too? Because those who declared it had prayer :wink: but wanted to think of themselves as ''pures'' and that's why having no magic is or was the accepted norm for a pure. When it comes to declaring who the first was, there's simply no way of knowing, what you can however do is state some of the ones who stayed pure because that was their intention.. I can't believe i've read through 7 pages and (as far as i could see) noone mentioned one of the highest and strongest pures that had been around for the longest, Bs Arkan! Others worth a mention: X Shadow X (eventually impure) Zar Family2 (eventually impure) Robin Hood (eventually impure) Crunch Killa (eventually impure) D E A D L Y (good arguement for an original) Bs Arkan (same as above and eventually impure) And personally one of my favourites, although i doubt many will remember him Pure Plev! He could also have a good claim for an original as he was around a LONG time.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that Fist would scam you for anything, 1) He was full of morals and 2) He had TONNES of money as he was always around from the begining and was there for the phat drops, he was friends with Bluerose (i think) n basically i just can't see any situation in which he'd bother to scam anyone!

Haha, it's funny cause i remember times doing that.. Me and You would be fighting then some opportunists (lucky and chums) would attempt to clear up.. We'd suddenly just truce with the sole purpose of killing them instead =D> Other funny thing was me and you were friends at first, then weren't and then eventually were again.. Weird thing was when we were fighting i was 115+ cb and you were 105.. Yet you'd still actually fight me whereas Anttila was 112? and wouldn't dare lol :-# I don't think Rsc will ever be beaten as a game in my mind, the only other game i've played that i think has come near to this is Final Fantasy 7 lol..
