I have been wanting to try vector art, but before I do I have some questions. 1. Can it be done in Photoshop Elements 2.0? 2. Can it be done in Macromedia Freehand MX? 3. If none of the above are answered "Yes" what is a good program for vector art? Thanks :)

:lol: heh , and photoshop elements? hehe :shock: elements pwns joo! I asked for photoshop for my birthday, and I got elements 2.0 so I pm'ed GSW and asked he if it would be ok for sig making...riiight. I can't do half the tutorials i see because i lack the tools.

They are pixel sigs. You draw them in paint. No teaching required until a first is drawn. Just draw. btw welcome to Tip.it.

Thanks so much for the advice. I will definately look at Alyn's tutorials. btw i didnt make it purely from tutorials, the main thing i used the tutorial for was getting the planet's shadow/lighting right.

Well, about my third space, but i have been looking over some tutorials and learning a few things. Nadril you are i think the best at space scenes on the boards so please take time to comment. All other comments are welcome, and this sig is now for sale in my shop! Tried to make a little busier and a little more chaotic, also move the nebula thingy and added a planet. finally i added a new texture to the original planet.

ok yeah i died at the steel drags and lost a pretty good bit of money so now i ve decided to try to make some of it back, so voila! a shop. maybe ill make a few gp. I can do all of the following pretty good -brusy/abstacty -vectorish/retro sigs -slight photomanips -pixels (please don't order, but i will do them if i have to :? ) -Landscapes Examples: Will post tomorrow when i have more time, just opening now to see if i can get any adventurous offers :wink: most of you have seen everything but a new vectorish style im trying so here it is. (no its not really vector, but it does kinda look like it.) EXAMPLES examples not for sale.

:lol: . Lol thats the biggest sun i've seen just sitting in a plain atmosphere. Rofl :shock: About the C&C uhm... make the sun smaller, i actualy like the colors on the sig (but eew, not the text) and even though you can't tell what the surface map is, it works. Just make the sun smaller, my gawd. Looks like a nuclear explosion happened out there :shock: yeah, erm the sun was a little big...i really cant do text.... :oops:
