  1. hmmm, I dont know how to better explain it... whenever you go to save it as a gif make sure you uncheck the box that says loop, and that should be it.
  2. much better with the floor perspective but dont just go off the examples I gave, the table is off some. the window looks pretty good, just add some detail and shading and you are on your way. What is wrong with the table exactly? The legs are turned weird while the top is straight. just think perspective

  4. NO! dont listen to him. just keep going, hate to use these sayings but Rome Wasnt Built in a Day.
  5. and you are much better?! get a life you stupid pixel wannabe! kidding, man... dont listen to him man, continue pixelling and one day probably tomorrow you will be better than him!
  6. ok im guessing this is a regular animation so go back into the animator you make it in and uncheck loop on wherever the properties of the image are, I could probably be more specific if you could tell me what program it was made in. :)
  7. wow there was no reason at all for you to post because I already told him what he needed to know, people make mistakes, GET OVER IT!
  8. actually if you go to nearly ANY other gfx forums a render is any drawing 3d model etc.
  9. Well I'm not too good at pixel sigs according to Teenageloser  but I'll give some critique anyway. First of all since its sort of a plain indoor scene so you want to really concentrate on perspective and in this sig the perspective is off slightly. The floor shouldnt go straight down it should have sort of an angle to it. and just look around an make sure it looks 3d. Also in the window, the hill is just plain, look around outside, what do you see? Houses, lots of trees, (unless you live in the city but w/e) or maybe some paths, use your imagination add something interesting. k, now you want to make your sig kinda have a story or theme of some sort, just maybe add something to catch the audience's eye not just a blank room with a sword (you're not entangle  ) o and terley is very correct in all the shading aspects, but shading alone wont help you sell sigs.
  10. animating can be done in many programs, gimp photoshop imageready (yes it can be done in both programs just easier in imageready) and many other free flash animating programs In photoshop (what i use) just make the frames of the animation into different layers and go to save for web>save it as a gif> and check the animation box at the bottom and make sure it is set on loop so that your sig continues to well loop  it can also be done in gimp almost the same way, and since I'm guessing you may not have photoshop (considering the 90% pixeller population here) then you may want to download gimp. Gimp can be found at http://www.gimp.org hope I helped you out :)
  11. ice-ring.deviantart.com go there NOW!
  12. browse.deviantart.com put in resources>photoshop brushes>top favorites and download away to start off, then go to random GFX sites to sort of get an idea on what a really good sig looks like. Sites like http://www.nationalsigleague.com have some AMAZING sigs to get ideas, though you may have to register to see some of them. as for that sig, its just a filter pile, prolly a lens flare then a chrome then a wave, or at least thats the filter pile I used to use
  13. I havent done pixels in months, I meant anything related to Photoshop, grunge abstract etc. When I said the sig sucked I was referring to the fact that it was a VERY small person with just a black background and crappy text. Of course you are a better pixeller than me but abstract grunge, etc, not hardly! Also that pixel isnt that great, I've seen MUCH better.
  14. Excuses, he just simply stated he wasn't going for perfect proportions. So what's the excuse for your poor work Ice_ring? I dont happen to make excuses  and yours is much better?
  15. they are good for firsts...my firsts were a lot worse :?. best thing to do right now is go to some of the following places: http://www.good-tutorials.com http://www.tutorialized.com ratings for the sigs: none of them are really any good which can't be expected when first opening up photoshop, hell I'm still a noob after 6 months of it. These sigs aren't really part of a style so they can't really be improved on. uhh work on your text, add a 1 pixel black stroke to your text does wonders, just type your phrase/word and then simplify the layer then go select>all>stroke>1 pixel inside or outside depending on which looks better. hope I helped :)
  16. don't make excuses, you ask for ratings? 1/10 uhh little man with text and black background...
  17. What you mean by this? Pictures of Link are copyrighted, you are supposed to only use stock images. we seem to be the only forum that abide this rule...
  18. I'm sorry but I really don't like it, it doesn't matter how much brushing you do if you can't see it... I dunno it's just not eye-catching or anything. bleh, my opinion.
  19. cmon people enter, we gotta get this goin. :)
  20. All these things I've done- The Killers (i think) I can't stop listening to it... I got soul but I'm not a soulja! (gotta love it) :)
  21. Hey its related to music, feel free to enter it! :)
  22. hmmm that could work, Ok lets do that. I'll edit the post, the deadline for sigs is now Wednesday of next week!
  23. Hmm, uhh first of all that doesn't pertain to music, and second this is a 1vs1 kinda thing, but maybe we could make it a multi battle? hmm if you make a music sig I guess you could enter too. oh ya, my entry:
  24. I guess anything to do with music :) Doesn't have to be abstract or pixel, if you want to animate you can. I'll start workin on mine.
  25. Well, here goes nothing, K, I've been thru a lot of forums lately, and a lot of them have weekly battle or sig of the week threads. This made me think, Tip.it should have this!! so here it is I'm starting it up! Rules: 1. 2 people enter(for now) and make a sig on a random thing at first.(will be decided later). 2. Voting will be done by just posting the username of the sigmaker you want to win. 3. After one person wins, they pick the subject of the next battle and can choose to enter or not. FIRST PERSON TO POST PICKS THE SUBJECT! And I guess I'll stick my neck out and be the first to battle, so who wants to battle me? The topic from the last post that got locked was mucis so I guess we can do that.
