please correct me if I'm wrong but isn't itunes where you go online and buy songs for 1 DOLLAR each? If so then why is everyone still using it when you can just get napster and download as many songs as you want for $15 a month?

well i have the website designed and hosted at tripod for the time being but im just wondering now how much bandwidth i am going to need once i have uploaded at least 150 large images to the site. i am thinking of using circlehosting.com as suggested, so please just recommend a plan please.

it was originally very green and brown when i named it earth, but as i worked on it the colors kind of changed a little :) thanks all for the CC :D

bet you figured it would have a render eh eh? but its doesnt! 8) all done with default brushes time taken: 2hours fiddling in photoshop

yer ice ring just because u like it doesn't mean every body else need to like it. oh yer the sig 4/10 the skeleton looks weird. its not that, its the fact that he is posting on nearly every topic that contains a sig with a render and complaining about it. That gets really annoying after a while.

godslayer shut the hell up :roll: anyway, the render doesnt really blend into the sig very well, you may want to add some contrast to it and sorta use a feather lasso selection to blend it better. as for the bg I dunno its just sorta bland, maybe do some more brushing around and contrast it some more. Contrast works wonders :) also brighter colors in general.

well im prolly not the best person to say this but the two paintings that i did i just started out with a basic sketch and used the polygonal lasso tool to select an area to paint and started. after doing two i kinda decided that the lasso tool wasnt the best idea, so on my next i plan just to paint and then erase the parts outside of the sketch or maybe just delete the lines layer once im done. :) also DA has LOTS of tutorials for digital painting. also ashwings has a tutorial which i used.

i think stevepole used to do them but im not sure if he still is...id offer to make you one if I still had my computer with photshop. :?

well let me see.. try 12 layers starting out with about 6 default brushes.. (who cares if there default :roll: ) starting out with grey tones and then doinga green gradient over it set blending mode and set contrast and add some more brushing. psst default brushes make it better :) never said i had anything against it.

I think I see the steps now lets see, random green and brown colors of one default brush on about 5 layers set to some different blending modes. I dont like it, and NOT just because it doesnt have a render. :)

I'm beginning to agree with this after seeing the friendly compliment thread locked :roll: The one topic in the entire forum that really makes people feel good and isnt filled with flaming idiots gets locked because there are "other ways to have fun" WTF?? well Im supposed to be getting an old (98-99) bmw, but that could change depending on what kind of grades I make up until my birthday.

ok i'm thinking of buying a system for my car, I have around 1000 to spend and i really know nothing about car stereos so could someone fill me in on what quality im gonna be getting and make some suggestions? i really want to get something nice but I'm totally lost on how all this works... :oops:

Awesome IMO. nice that its not just a render on a background that doesnt really match like mine :P text is also nice.

This summer I did some hospital volunteering and really liked it, got to sit in on some surgeries and watch a baby be born by c section. Now I'd really like to be a surgeon but the school is a killer. the main reason I didnt want to do it at first was the thought of all the blood, but when I was in the surgery I was fine. but before wanting to be a surgeon I kinda wanted to be an architect or movie director. My dad kinda killed the director dream by repeating "you need a good degree to fall back on then you can do what ever you want" :roll:
