Because they may not like combat. They may find quests and combat un-enjoyable. If you don't like something, why do it? I'm not saying they need to be level 138 with 277 quest points all they have to do is do a simple quest which requires to kill a level like 10 -.- then they could unlock hundreds more ways to train... its obvious the reason they are so low isn't due to dont like to train the skills or do the quests because it takes 10mins to do quest and like a month to get wc or somut Not sure I understand the last line, so tell me if I translated it wrong: "It's obvious that the reason they are so low isn't because they don't like to train the skills or do the quests, because it only takes 10 minutes to do the quest and like a month to get woodcutting or something." And, assuming that that is accurate, let me start by saying that the time taken for the quests vs. the time taken to skill isn't important. They enjoy training skills. They don't enjoy questing or fighting monsters. How does that concern you? Just let them be, sheesh. "Hundreds more ways to train." Hmm. Okay, you might have to correct me on some of these, becaue I'm f2p, but let me give it a go: Construction: All you need is cash. No combat or quests necessary for the fastest training. Cooking: I believe that the Rogue's Den or the Cooking Guild bank+range room are the fastest ways to cook. Cooking Guild Bank requires quests and combat, but Rogue's Den does not, and cooking is pretty fast anyway. Crafting: I'll admit, I don't know what the "best" way to train Crafting is, but I seriously doubt that it requires combat or quests. Correct me if I'm wrong. Farming: Magic is probably nice to have for the teleports, but there's enough enchanted jewelery and you don't really train farming non-stop go-go-go anyway. There are some patches that you need quests to get to, too, so I'll grant you that farming is probably a good deal easier with some combat. Firemaking: Yeah... I think I can safely say that firemaking requires no combat whatsoever. Fishing: Fishing is easier with combat. The three fastest methods I've heard are fly fishing in Shilo, Barbarian Heavy Rod, and monkfish in Piscatoris, all of which require some combat. Fishing sharks, however, can be done without combat, and many fishers do that for money, I've heard. But I'll call this one easier with combat. Fletching: See Firemaking. Herblore: No combat needed, unless you're making something like Serum 207. Hunter: Pretty sure no combat needed here, either. Mining: The best way of training is granite mining: combat needed. Runecrafting: Combat is needed for death, blood, astral, and cosmic runes. It is also necessary (or at least very useful) when using the abyss. However, after level 50, teletabs from the runecrafting guild are faster than the abyss - and don't most people craft natures and laws? Combat: marginally useful. Smithing: No combat needed. Thieving: Combat is, I think, necessary or very useful for pickpocketing and Pyramid Plunder. So, yes, combat is very useful for Thieving. Woodcutting: I believe that the best experience is cutting teaks in Tai Bwo Wannai. Combat is apparently not required for that, though it appears that it is helpful for the Jungle Potion quest. So, skills that are made much easier by having combat: Farming, Fishing, Mining, Theiving, and maybe Runecrafting and Woodcutting. But every last one of them is possible without it, and some people sinply find it more enjoyable that way. Again: how someone else plays should not affect you.
