The only two points that anyone could object to at all are the ones mentioning 150+ quests and 24 skills, which do require membership that isn't mentioned in the ads. However, I don't think that's any worse than ads for other games, all of which tend to distort the facts a little, even if what they say is literally true. Jagex is only doing what every other advertisement for anything does: accentuate the positive, while downplaying or not mentioning the negative. I have tried membership, and I prefer f2p. Membership was awesome, and yes, I'll probably get it again next summer, but it was so FULL. There was so much to do, it was overwhelming. I imagine at higher and higher levels, it would settle down a bit once you started to plateau, but for someone like me who is perpetually distracted by the shiny, f2p is a lot more my style for large chunks of time.

Currently, mostly empty - and bank space is GLORIOUS. In about a week, I'm going to have to dump all the stuff that's f2p that I only have because they're needed for a bunch of quests and I cba to find a general store every time. WhenI'm f2p, I normally manage to keep ~5 spaces open all the time.

There are women who think that women are better than men. It's pointless to deny that, because it's true, and most people have met someone like that. However, not all feminists are like that. Some do believe in true equality, including in the things Zierro pointed out. @ myweaponsg00d, my problem with the way women dress to "attract a man" (and I agree, that isn't completely the fault of men, women have encouraged it too) is that it tends to lead to victim blaming. A woman dresses in attractive clothes and gets raped? Well, obviously she was trying to get a guy to notice her and she must have wanted it. Saying no was just her playing hard to get. Or maybe she was "being a tease" and "leading him on" and so she deserved it, which is complete [cabbage]. on the other hand, male rape also needs to be treated with more seriousness. While female on male rape is rarer than male on female, it does happen and is even more underreported than "normal" rape... because women are considered weaker and most men who are raped by a woman feel that their masculinity has been destroyed because as a man, they should be able to overpower a mere woman.

I wouldn't call myself an extreme feminist, but I agree. Women should be required to enroll in the draft, and they should also be allowed to serve in infantry units. And as a side note to the military, there should be a much stronger stance against rapes, because currently... Yeah, reporting someone for rape goes very badly for the woman, even worse than in civilian life, and it's no picnic here.

I agree. However, I think that any attempts trying to change the name of the movement would result in a lot of eyerolling and comments to STFU, so... Yeah. Feminism is one of those things that mean different things to different people. Honestly, I think the type of "feminism" that myweaponsg00d sees on his campus is extremely annoying. The way I like to define my view of feminism is with a quote from Rebecca West that is getting pretty common on bumper stickers: "Feminism is the radical notion that women are people." I don't believe that women are better than men. I don't believe that men are better than women. I think that they're equal and should have equal opportunities as much as possible. If a woman wants to have fifteen kids and stay home and raise them all, more power to her (though I will admit to cringing slightly at the thought of having that many children myself). If a man wants to stay home and tend to the cooking and the cleaning while his wife goes out and works, hey, I'm cool with that too. What I'm not okay with is someone forcing their spouse to stay home and tend to it, whether it's a man or a woman doing the forcing. I'm also not okay with a man doing everything in his power to force his wife to have children when she doesn't want to - depending on the form this forcing takes, it could range from marital rape (which is legal in many parts of the world still), to denying access to birth control and refusing to wear a condom (or sabotaging it), to preventing her from seeking an abortion (and can we not debate this point here, there's another thread for abortion). I think that there are girls who want to go to technical school, but also want to get married someday and have been told their whole life that boys don't like smart girls, so they either don't go to college, or they get a degree in something more "feminine" than engineering. Whether or not boys do like smart girls isn't the issue - it's that girls are told they don't and since they still want to get a man, they supress their own desires, and i think that's wrong, just as it would be wrong to force a girl who loves cooking to go to engineering school. There are as many different kinds of women as there are men - possession of a uterus doesn't untie us any more than possession of a penis unites men. So really, feminism is all about a women's right to choose, and not just in the "pro-choice" abortion sense. It's a women's right to choose as much of her destiny as a man can, whether that destiny is in a kitchen with a couple of kids running around, or in an operating room performing brain surgery.

On the subject of all or none, I take that stance in regards to the law because when the law starts saying that people can't get abortions for such-and-such a reason, then a precedent is set and they can continue to add restrictions until abortion is basically illegal. So while I personally am against it in certain instances and have no problem with it in others (well, not no problem, but unopposed to it at least), I don't think the law should restrict the circumstances I am against.

Ya rly, because stuck-up Christians are the only ones who are pro-life. Anyways, in most situations, the teenage girl [bleep]ed up her own life. Why take it out on the baby? I'd love to see some statistics on the "most situations" part. And why take it out no the baby? Because scientifically speaking, it's not a baby, nor is it a human, it cannot think, survive on its own, communicate or do anything remotely human. Actually, scientifically speaking, it is human. Just check the DNA. Though you're right that it's not a baby. Depending on the time since fertilization it could be any number of things.

If someone isn't responsible enough to take all the necessary precautions, shouldn't they have to deal with the consequences instead of taking the easiest (by no means is abortion easy, though) route? Of course, it'd be different if you did take all the necessary precautions and something didn't work quite right, or something worse happened to you (such as rape) and you couldn't have prevented becoming pregnant even if you wanted to. I said I was pro-life, but...I guess I'm pro-life + pro-choice. It depends on the situation, I guess. You did, however, raise a good point about how pregnancy can threaten the life of the mother and child. If someone is in that situation, I guess it makes sense to spare the mother and lose the child. So, to summarize: OK to have an abortion: -Rape victim -Took precautions, precautions failed -Serious threat to mother Not OK to have an abortion: -Acted irresponsibly, could have prevented it Of course, maybe everything is different from a woman's perspective, but seeing as I don't have one of those... I can agree with this. Legally, I think it's impossible to enforce "You can only have an abortion if you tried to prevent the pregnancy in the first place" and trying it would lead to a whole mess of trouble, but I do agree that if they were irresponsible, then they deserve everything that comes along with it and hopefully they're able to grow up and either take proper responsibility for the child or put it up for adoption in the hopes things will turn out as well as they did for you. :)

Alright, my personal feelings on this: First off, my womb is not a ballot box, and I'll thank everyone to keep their laws out of it. More seriously, I think that legally, abortion should always be an option. I think that restricting access to abortion does more harm than good, and it just leads to more women dying. While there may be a somewhat smaller number of aborted fetuses, I think that it's too high a price to pay for the number of fully grown (or nearly so) women who will be killed instead. I like to call this the anti-coat hanger stance. Morally, it's murkier. Morality always is. There are some cases where I know that I would flat out get an abortion, and you (generic you, not specific to anyone on this thread) can jump off a cliff if you object: rape and a serious danger to my health. A special mention goes to those people who insist that even women with ectopic pregnancies shouldn't get an abortion. They can go jump off a cliff into lava. Except that would be too quick.(An ectopic pregnancy is one where the egg implants anywhere outside the uterus, most commonly in the uterine tubes. If not aborted, it's basically a death sentence to the mother and the fetus, since the maternal death generally happens long before the fetus is viable.) If the fetus is far enough along that it would reasonably be considered viable, I don't think it should be aborted - from what I understand, abortions rarely happen that late in pregnancy anyway, except in rare cases where delivery by any means is not an option for some reason. Saying that fetuses shouldn't be aborted because there are always people waiting to adopt is a flawed argument. Obviously, it worked out for you, SkillingWoo, and I'm glad. It worked for my cousin as well. But the fact is, there are already many children around the world in orphanages and foster care. While some will be lucky enough to be adopted at birth or shortly after, it simply isn't guaranteed. Also, even if the baby is put up for adoption, the woman still has to go through pregnancy. Do you know what happens to the body during pregnancy, even when there are no complications? Every organ in the abdominal cavity is pushed around and squeezed together. The compression on the bladder causes one of the better known complaints of pregnant women: the need to pee much more frequently. Compression on other organs and vessels can cause other symptoms: heartburn and constipation (GI tract), varicose veins and swelling in the legs (vena cava), and renal hypertension (kidneys and the renal arteries). Also during pregnancy, blood pressure frequently rises, due to increased blood volume and and heart rate in order to supply the fetus. Breath rate and volume also increases to supply the fetus. Backaches are common, due to changes in weight and where it's carried. Breasts swell, frequently becoming tender and painful towards the end of pregnancy. Fatigue, as the fetus demands more nutrients. Morning sickness, another well-known symptom. And none of that even begins to talk about childbirth itself! If you've ever had sex, and you've seen a new born baby, picture fitting a baby through there. Go ahead, I'll wait. Oh, and this can last for hours. Have fun. Also, a woman's activities are restricted during pregnancy. No smoking, sure, you can say that smoking isn't good for you anyway, with or without a baby. No drinking, well, that's a little worse, but still, it's only 9 months. But then consider that many prescription medications can't be taken during pregnancy. Suddenly, any well-managed conditions you have become a lot less well managed. Not only is your body going wacko, you're off your meds. That high blood pressure you inherited? I hope you like your bed, because you're probably going to be stuck in it most of the time by the third trimester, doctor's orders. And then there are the million and one possible complications! Modern medical techniques allow many of them to be detected earlier on - again, I hope you like bed rest. Others, like preeclampsia sneak up on you, and if it's not properly treated (by which I mean delivering the baby ASAP or aborting it), both mother and fetus can die. It typically presents anywhere from week 32 and six weeks after birth (in the mother), though it can present as early as week 20. Obviously, the early it presents, the less chance of a successful delivery. Even if the baby is delivered, they face the same risks as any pre-term infant. ...I think I got a bit off topic. Anyway, I don't think anyone should be forced to go through pregnancy and childbirth. We don't have the current technology to transfer an already-implanted blastocyst into another womb, which leaves abortion as the only option. On the subject of the father having a say in the decision: if it was a one-night stand or a brief fling, then no. If it's a long-term, committed relationship, then I think a woman should talk it over with her boyfriend/husband and consider his opinion and make the decision with him, but at the end of the day, it's still her decision and unless the man can grow a womb and take in the embryo, then he has to let her. I'm not saying he shouldn't have his own opinion, or be upset if she gets an abortion when he doesn't want her to, but he shouldn't actually prevent her. tl;dr version: I'm pro-choice.

Once I get the times, I can use it to find exp/hour. I can get times for everything else though, just not teletabs. If you can get those for me, huge thanks! :) Sure, I'll be back in f2p by the end of the month and I'll see about getting you some times then. :) Cool thing with tabs though is that if you combine them with conventional teleports you hardly need to recharge energy. :D But I'll try a few runs without conventional teleports too if you'd like.

Saves an inventory space and hardly changes the profit, especially if using the Explorer's ring. ;)
