  1. 2/10, I can just [cabbage] all over players like you because anything that isn't monster hunting or 99 in a difficult skill is CRAP! And it's been done before! So GTFO my forum! Nah not really. Congratulations on putting up with the unfair mess that is The Great Orb Projct. Pics would be nice though.
  2. While playing The Great Orb Project, I ran into a level 125 on the other team. They proceeded to create 20 or so barriers all around the Mind Altar. How do you make more than one?
  3. I simply ask them to stay and ask my team to stop repeling/making barriers. If all else fails we make barriers all around them and corral them into the portal to the next altar.
  4. i r forum trol n dis achieve sux!111!!11!1 .0000001/10 n000b! i p00p achieves liek dis!111 \ Just kidding. 8/10, it's kind of random but I guess it looks okay to surprise and confuse F2Pers.
  5. Tip.it is NOT the biggest, Runescape Community is. They have nearly double the members that Tip.it has. Tip.it has 168,288 member at the time of this post, whereas Runescape Community (Zybez.net's forum) has 296,699. Here are the stats on each forum: To be honest, zybez.net is a bunch of cheaters and macroers, i was there few times and saw gold farming ads...rly such site should be banned.... Oh and Multi Site Steel War 3 we owned them like little kids... +1 And whenever RS crashes their forums turn into 4chan. Anywho, I think that taking hold of Falador, Varrock, or Ardougne would be near impossible no matter how many people you had. If a town had walls and a good amount of people from all time zones, it would be easy to defend. Like Lumbridge Castle. ;o
  6. I've always thought of the RS Stereotype as 95% of the game being 12 year olds playing in computer labs at their school, 4% Tip.It, and 1% adults who play it out of boredom. But I think it's silly to think that RS Players are nerds. Anyone playing any game could be a nerd. Pretty much everyone loves Guitar Hero and it's very possible to be a GH Nerd (Look, he can play Acoustic Guitar Hero!). It's just the stereotype that comes with any game, I guess.
  7. They're making PvP worlds with PvP anywhere, so unless you liked the ghetto graphics then the best part of RSC will be released on RS2 soon. :D
  8. As Jagex recently announced PvP worlds, players will be able to take over towns. Which ones will you take over? D:
  9. Or maybe, an epic quest about the Eye of Saradomin. :o Barrows Pures would be able to wear it, but (IMO) once a pure gets past 45 defense they aren't as pure anymore so I don't care about them.
  10. Don't worry, the article said Jagex is giving us some new and exciting armor with 70+ requirements so pures can't have it.
  11. The most frequent request we have received over the last few months has been to put more PvP back into the game. We want to let you know that this request hasn't gone unheard, and that we've put a lot of research into how we can introduce new PvP mechanisms. The most frequent request we have received over the last few months has been to put more PvP back into the game. We want to let you know that this request hasn't gone unheard, and that we've put a lot of research into how we can introduce new PvP mechanisms. The aim is for PvP content that better replaces the old Wilderness, but without reintroducing RWT. Hopefully, youre already aware of the imminent Clan Wars release (see the September Behind the Scenes in a couple of weeks for more information), but there are also plans afoot for the most exciting and "old school" PvP update we have ever considered unique PvP worlds. As many of our long term players know, in the old RuneScape Classic days you could actually fight players just outside the gates of Lumbridge, before the days of duelling and even before the days of the old Wilderness itself. Players could hunt each other down, chasing them away from favourite resource points and generally "owning" large areas of the map. So, in 2008, we will be bringing you special 'PvP worlds', where you can fight other players almost anywhere! In addition to all the usual content you might expect to find in RuneScape, they will also include: Optional sign-up choose between PvP danger or stick to ordinary play by simply switching worlds. High danger with items dropped on death. High rewards for kills. To avoid any RWT issues the reward for a successful PK will be generated by the game, similar to when you kill a monster at the moment. We're creating generous drop tables based on factors like your levels and the impressiveness of the kill. These drop tables will include "PvP world specific" items like XP-modifying gear, lvl 70+ equipment and new, glorious, short-term but hard hitting gear. These will once again make PKing a viable source of income. PvP across 99% of the world, including the old Wilderness. Attack any player within a certain level of your own. Level range depends on the area, similar to the old Wilderness levels. ...And all sorts of other twists on interesting content... Just think of the possibilities when you can PK anywhere! Naturally, we also have other PvP-orientated content, like Stealing Creation (a resource control game where skillers and PKers work together, creating equipment and beating up the opposition) and Mobilising Armies (a real-time strategy game where you use your hard made bows, swords, etc. to equip your own armies in 4-player battles). Add all this to a healthy schedule of quests (featuring Arrav and the sequel to Spirit of Summer), holiday events and some unique puzzle content... and the rest of '08 has something for almost everyone. Finally, we'd like to let you in on a little secret we're currently working on our highest level, longest, most exciting quest ever. Not necessarily for launch in '08 (it's not something we want to rush, after all), its already had more development time than the entirety of "Recipe for Disaster"... but youll have to wait to find out more. We're adding secret hints and references all the time about this one, so if you need to know more, just look around! Leave no stone unturned....
  12. Draco gud piety. \ Conflatulations on 99 Slayer, Draco_Draco.
  13. Is it just me, or is everyone being green now? I'm a dedicated Yellow team player, and more and more now I find myself outnumbered and outgunned by the green team.
  14. Where are all the F2Pers so I can play this crazy minigame? :(
  15. Hooray, I knew Jagex wouldn't forget us. \
  16. I don't see why it would hurt. To all of you "NOTHING FOR F2P" posters, who cares if we get the Runecrafting Guild? Look at the other guilds. Besides the Warrior's Guild and the Cooking Guild range, they're useless. Why would you want it anyways? ZMI will probably be faster anyways. Plus, there's Graahk crafting, the Abyss, all of the runes that give decent EXP. Really, the only F2P Runecrafting updates were Rune Mysteries and the essence nerf. F2P is supposed to be a sample, not a crumb. :P
  17. But I thought Jagex surrendered the midget audience to Club Penguin. :o Come on Jagex, it's not worth the battle. :shame:
  18. This is pretty much a clever "WE WANT WILDY NO PK NO PAY" rant hidden behind what the Intertube thinks of Runescape. But to answer the question, if I didn't play RS then I probably wouldn't have played any other MMORPGs, and I would be having fun instead of sitting in front of a computer answering this question. So no, I wouldn't care about other MMORPGs or what they think of Runescape because I wouldn't know about them.
  19. Because: - most of Runescapers are pokeyman-watching/playing children who think that hitting the highest makes you sexy - most of Runescapers think prayer is for noobs and HP is for noobs as well (if not, why is safing nooby?) - they wish their godsword had bling on the hilt - they're secretly sexist against Zilyana - it's a trick, and they're using reverse psychology to say "lend it to meeeee" - most of Runescapers are Naruto-watchers who think being evil makes you the best person on the Internet, and that the side of good (and Saradomin) fails - they're jealous. Armadyl is a bird. If I was a bird, I'd hate the SGS too. - they have 32 Slayer and think it's pointless - it's too much to lose in BH without hitting - they fail. Seriously, SGS is the best GS ever made ever. Ignore those noobs.
  20. No! D: You were my Barrows idol back when I was a wee barrowing nubbin, hoping to "get 3 items liek dat s00per cool saruman44 guy". But if that's the way the cookie crumbles... Good luck on the Interhighway. It does seem to have a lot of idiots and jerks sometimes. -.-
  21. Has anyone tried going up there in full ghostly and with the Shadow Sword? :o
  22. I'm skeered. :ohnoes:
