    Rune Mining is not worth it. As you said yourself, you can pull more money picking up snape's. (With good spots and tactics). Rune mining was good in Runescape Classic. In the early days when you could get 300k for a rune kite shield. These days when rune sells for just a little above high alch prices its become a very bad money maker indeed! Now you can get 12k per ore? Before Bluerose13x could buy them for 100k each. As long as dragon ore is not put into the game mining will never be a main moneymaker skill.
