  3. Well, JageX has seemingly been working on the graphic update on Varrock in over a year. (The ingame NPC's have atleast been talking about Varrock getting re built for over a year!) Falador got a graphic update for like? Um, Cant remember. But, anyways. In this months behind the scene JageX says: Hmm. Then, Jagex also said earlier that March would be bigger than a big thing on a big day. Now this got me thinking. Will we finally get the Varrock update this month? I find it strange why they would not announce it this month if they are actually going to release it. But since they are updating Varrock with a new cave system, maybe the town comes aswell :? Because that would surely be bigger than a big thing on a big day.
  4. Exactly! :) You just wrote what I did not manage to write. Many people look at Guthix as a good God since balance is usually a positive word. But in this case, balance is equally negative. Its actually, not positive at all, but totally neutral. :D

Because if you look at your post, (the first one you quoted my message), it clearly says Zamorak. Unless you also claim that I hack tip it...   7. Wrong, wrong as you could be. In order for there to be balance, there must be equal parts of good and evil in the world. If there was to be absolutly no evil than there couldn't possibly be balance. Take a scale for example. On both sides there must be equal weight in order for it to be balanced, the same is true here. Without any evil there can be nothing to judge the good. Also keep in mind that good and evil is also purely a matter of perspective. On either side of the conflict both sides believe that they are fighting for the good and that the other is evil. A villain that is evil for the sake of being evil is quite unrealistic. Guthix>Zamorak=Saradomin Wrong, worng as you could be. Zamorak is fighting for more power, power to control all things. He even killed another God to become a God Himself. He lured Zaros. And now he want to ultimately get the world under his feet. Saradomin however want every person and living creature to have the same opportunities for a good life. Without the need for deceiving, stealing etc. Its a question on moral basically. And all your [****] talk about scale with equal weight. Well, what can I say. Its a bunch of [*****]. Its like saying for every blessing there must be a murder. I find no sense in that. But then again, I find no sense in following Guthix, and I would never fall to such an all time low to compare myself with his ignorant followers. Nope, Saradomin for president.. err.. Saradomin for worshiping.
  8. Guthix is nothing but a power hungry God. As i said in another topic, Guthix just "ended" the God war because he was afraid someone else would win. Lets say Saradomin won the God war. Then Guthix would be the bad guy, comming into the lands and create havoc and destruction in order to keep his so called "balance" between good and evil. When infact, the only balance there is, is good.
  9. Read on to find out why you should NOT follow Guthix: I feel that this article is biased. Guthix did not really "end" the God war. He just neutralized it by introducing his own followers/minions into the battle, because he didn't want any of the sides to win, he wanted to be the almighty, and if Saradomin had won the god war, everyone would forget about Guthix, since Saradomin would be 'The' God of peace and harmony. And if guthix would set fot into the world, he would have been the new 'evil' god with him introducing evil to create the so called "balance". No, Praise Saradomin, the only true RS God!
  10. Off topic: Good you left Zybez for Tip.it ;) On Topic: For starters I would love to see multi combat zone everywhere! (But not during quest monsters, and places such as fighting barrow brothers) Then I would upgrade lunar spells to actually help people, not only share with people. The healing spell for example is useless. What you do is take life from yourself to give to others. Hence your team is not strengthen at all. I would make it so you actually can heal people, without loosing hp yourself. If this mean the spell cast time would be increased, so be it. (Yes it would be a drastic change to the game play, but it is much needed for the sake of team play and fun) Then now as you actually can work as a team, its time to bring in stronger monsters, and larger dungeons. But not like the dungeons we have to day, were the first monsters are low level, and in the inner places there are higher monsters. But INTERACTIVE dungeons. Were passages and ways change over time. Chests with random loot only opened by certant keys (the keys break after using em). The keys do not respawn in the same place, but changes respawn location in the dungeon. More things in the dungeon, such as a furnace, ores, spinning wheels, fountains(other water source) for making pots in the dungeon without leaving. Fishing spots, Hunting spots, etc. Today it seems that if its a dungeon, the only thing in it must be monster, and nothing else. Why dont make a multi interactive dungeon with lots of things to do? Edit: Lets say this dungeon is faaaar away from bank so you cant relay on running back and forth, as it would take too much time. Try imagine the following senario in Ardougne. Player1: Good level 97 and 110 looking for high level Fisher/cook for dungeon venturing! If you ask me that would be a lot more fun than simply only rely on people with high combat when you want to kill strong beasts.
  11. What are you talking about? The reason we "rant" (as you probably would say) is because we care about Runescape. Most of us (the now 20years old + players) have been playing Runescape since 2001 or early 2002. We have invested tons of hours into this game, and rather than just quit we want to tell whats going on so it could be changed to the better of the game. Quitting is just the same as saying, "I lost". And trust me we don't want to loose. We want to change the game for the better. Because we care about it. -

Oh I almost forgot, people don't play runescape for the role playing purpose anymore. Oh well, hope you have what it takes to read the scroll. Its written in a very ancient language.
  16. thay say it because thay are SO HARD its redicles i dont know when thay going make a nother part in plague series but i'm still trying to get revovling elves :oops: Seriously, there are probably more than 40 000 people that have done the MEP II quest. Is that ridicules hard? No, its not. When they release a quest that only like 5000 people complete, its still not ridiculousy hard. When only like 1000 people complete it after a year. Then we can talk rediculesly hard.
  17. I'm still playing because I'm waiting for the elf storyline. I use my waiting time to train my stats so I'm well prepared when the quest comes out. Why don't you do the same thing?
  18. Why do people hate hard quests? I believed the whole point at playing this game was for those rare moments when you feel accomplishment from solving something that not everyone is able to solve. Clicking a tree over and over is not hard, nor fun. Solving advanced puzzles however are both fun and requires you to think. Now, why do you want to play a game that is not hard? That is beyond me. I love the whole plague-city-elf thing. Its definitely the best story line in game. Unlike the newer once that have tons of childish conversations and weird responses the elf storyline is full of quality. Being able to complete it and enter the grand elf city of Prifddinas, is one of the main reasons why I still play this game. They told us not to hold our breath for it, but I have been holding it for quite some time, and I'm going to keep holding it.
  19. Attack stat: (skill) Do not affect how often you hit high numbers, but how often you hit as a whole. So you wont see higher numbers more often, but you will see less zeroes. Attack adds to stab, slash and crush attacks. The attack skill also affects what kind of weapons you can wield. Example, you need level 60 attack to wield dragon weapons. Strenght: (skill) Affects stab, slash and crush attacks to hit higher amounts of damage, when you hit. Defence: (skill) Affects how often you manage to block an attack completly, not how often your enemy hit a high amount of damage on you compared to a lower one. Defence affects stab, crush, slash, and ranged at a 1:1 ratio. While affects magic defece at a 1/2 ratio. (the other 1/2 ratio comes from the magic skill itself) Example: having 50 defence and 1 magic works as having 50 defence agenst all kinds of melee and ranged attacks. while only having 25 defence agenst magic attacks. Having 50 def and 50 magic will give you 50 mage defence. This is were many people go wrong, while making a ranged pure they only train ranged, and not magic. The outcome makes the ranged pure have an insanely poor defence against magic attacks. So they think that rangers are not as good as melee and magic. The ultimate ranged pure however has an equal ranged and mage level. Making them have very high mage defence, while not having the need to raise their defence level. This makes them low combat level, as the mage level wont affect their combat level as long as it is under or equal to their current ranged level.
  20. This is not pokemon. Use best crush defence gear and melee them with stab/slash weapon. If you dont melee, use ranged. They are weak agenst ranged attacks Do not crush them. They have very high crush defence.

  25. No worries, I don't question your rs age. It just striked me as extremely odd. When it comes to the fact that people believe they get black marks for autoing because people report them, It is important to remember what one famous RS mod once told: I have been reported for macroing several times because i have not responded to in game messages while skilling. But luckily for me the system is a bit more advanced than just banning people that have a lot of reports on them. (*Note that he is talking about his personal account, and not his gold crown mod account)
