I was wondering how many fire waves it would take to kill an iron or steel dragon and how many dragons an anti fire breath potion would last.

I have find the abyss very good and quite safe if you take the necessary precautions. Its worth getting 70 ranged for black d-hide, doing mountain daughter quest for a bear head and ghost ahoy for ectophial but any 1 click tele will do. A safer method would be to put a glory in your POH and take house tele runes/tab to the abyss. Also I think there's a new piece of jewelery which stops you getting skulled when you go into the abyss.

Spinning flax is quite good if u can stand the boredom and it makes you lots of money. From 57 - 63 green dragon hide vambraces are good.

Good guide. My barrows setup is quite similar to the poor setup but I use a torag helm (Good def for 200k) and a unholy book (for prayer and attack bonus). I also take a defence potion for verac, torag and guthan. They only cost about 100 coins from warriors guild but easily save me a few monkfish.
