  1. IMHO I wouldn't do any more clue scrolls with a pure. You may have to do 100 clue scrolls to get ranger boots which you could buy for 500k. You can make that much money in other ways quicker. If you have to go to canafis once, you can bet you'll have to there quite often.
  2. Maybe he does take your clue. I'll check the next time I do a puzzle. But he should tell you something like "you haven't completed it yet" if you talk to him while you have the puzzle.
  3. That's odd. You have the clue scroll with you don't you. I've never had this problem. Anybody else?
  4. Don't use puzzle on him, just talk to him. If you've completed the puzzle like the examples in tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide he will give you your next clue.
  5. Locking this duplicate.
  6. Stick traps can be frustrating. Sometimes I've failed about 9 times before getting through. Bring lots a food. Don't forget a Sara wizard is going to attack you when you dig at the pond.
  7. See tip.it's Isafdar & Arandar map to guide you through that area. Your clue is near the pond in the north west section of the map past the stick trap. Check tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide for all clue information especially the treasure locater popup. It will show you the exact spot on the map.
  8. Always make sure you have these 5 things with you when you do a co-ordinates clue. 1 - clue 2 - spade 3 - sextant 4 - watch 5 - chart Your co-ordinates are valid ones. Use you sextant at the spot you are digging and it must match the co-ordinates of your clue. And as Hero said, check tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide for all clue information. Happy Trails.

Please use the Best Clue rewards sticky above to show your rewards. It is a good one. Robin's are like 2.5 mil now. Locking this thread.

  12. As benalator said make sure you have these 5 things with you when you do a co-ordinates clue. 1 - clue 2 - spade 3 - sextant 4 - watch 5 - chart Your co-ordinates are valid ones. Use you sextant at the spot you are digging and it must match the 06 degrees 31 minutes North 01 degrees 46 minutes West Good luck.
  13. Got one last night high alching a addy pl8 while ranging kurasks for slayer.
  14. You are doing nothing wrong except you need more patience. Sometime it takes hundreds of kills to get a clue scroll sometimes it just takes a few. The reward isn't going to be fantastic every time either. I average about 8 so so rewards for one good one. Check tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide for more clue information.
  15. Yes, you frequently have to dig in the Kharazi Jungle for level 3 clue scrolls. If you haven't started the Legends Quest you must in order to finish these treasure trails or drop the clue and stick with level 2s. Check tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide for more clue information.
  16. I do it quite often and usually they don't bother me. Sometimes I tell them I'm just doing a clue and they continue training. You know the clue is outside the hut right next to the north wall right. I tend to get ambushed more by the web coming up from the ardougne lever. My technique for that part of the wild is to carry the minimum items required slashing weapon, spade, clue, sextant, watch and chart. That way if you are going to die drop the spade watch and chart and you will still have your clue when you wake up in Lumby (or Fally now). I use protect from magic when the Zammy wizard pops up. I only use about 10 prayer points in the fight. Just hold your breath and hit that lever!
  17. Nice to know Runescape isn't the only one with autoer problems. I wonder how many total accounts they have if they banned 18k. 18k players * $15.00 per month = $270k per month = $3.24 mil per year.
  18. Looks like you are averaging around 20 dust devils per 1/10 of charge. That doesn't sound unusual. I tend to get about 10 red dragons per 1/10. I assume you found a safe spot. That's the best way to find out where they are is to find someone else ranging or hallying. I've never tried taking my face mask off other than once I was getting ready to telly to do a bank run anyways. It does get lonely down there, but keep your eye on the prize. Good luck. Maybe I'll see you there. I'm working on 72 slayer myself for those new monsters.
  19. If you look on Runescape's map, the gnome ball course is northwest of Ardougne. You may have to do a quest to get in there. Since you are new to member and are going to be doing clues scrolls, tip.it have an excellent guide called tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide that should answer all of your questions. Get familiar with it. You'll need it. Also you can search or browse this forum for a lot of information. Happy treasure trail hunting,

  21. This question has been asked many times already. Please check previous topics and not start a new one for the same information. example: Best Place to "harvest" clues lvl 1, 2, and 3 locking this thread.
  22. If I understand your question, Yes. There are between 4 and 6 clues in a treasure trail. You must complete each one in order get the reward. I would suggest you read tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide for more information.
  23. This has been discussed many times in the recent past. Try the search button or check tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide. The FAQ section specifically.
