only thing I've been looking forward to for this easter and will be watching in 30 secs; Doctor. [bleep]ing. Who.

Big problem with IT jobs. EVERYONE is doing it in the event of a fallback, (so even those who wanted it as a main career are screwed anyway). THE BIGGEST issue, is countries in general are outsourcing and having people come to each country on visa to do IT jobs as in India, the IT industry is massive with workers. Australia wise, the problem is they come on visas to do the jobs requiring University degrees and high-end experience. HOWEVER instead they decide to work in a lower-grade IT job because it's easier for them to get in reguardless. This ends up choking entry-level workers having a chance to get in. A good example is at my mates work, a guy was hired just because he had a diploma in IT engineering....in a ENTRY level job that was hardware repairs. He's never done hardware repairs but was hired over me simply for the Uni degree. (I guess you could call it a slight rant) basically, don't rely on IT as a fallback, because EVERYONE is doing it.
  3. I love lamp.
  4. I love how the winner of that prize is a (almost) maxed player, like most comps. Still, Looking forward to trying the beta, and seeing Castle Wars. and ogod that charm collector. AND instanced god wars? now the not-so-rich can actually access it without getting stomped on. :D

Just finished an assessment myself, Next one requires me to construct a small essay + pp preso, then give the preso to my tutor via Skype. once that's done, thats the OHS part of my first cluster done, then the next step is developing a game-type, and HUD.

It got postponed. The teacher of the class fell ill so it's been put off until after the Easter holidays. which is good too, gives me ~3 weeks to get more comfortable in front of a camera. Most of my blogging atm is posted via wordpress every 2 weeks or so. IF you're curious: http://timmyjaycee.wordpress.com/ I should warn at the moment it's more of a angst/rant/vent, and a diary of sorts to reflect on how I am or was feeling at the time of writing, what things are improving or not improving etc. Eventually I want to branch it from word blogging to video and update maybe once a week, or once a fortnight at latest. @Gingy, I couldn't do it. if I had a friend it'd be easy to enjoy myself, meet new people but going 100% solo for someone still coming out of social anxiety is too big of a step.
  7. Aside from the fact not all of us could afford a set or ONE like 999th (who magically was able to produce billions from staking). People want it, because they missed out way-back-when. They don't care about it's monetary value, they just want to wear it. That's the biggest argument with them at the moment in 07'scape. If people are afraid of "hyper inflation" in 07scape at the moment, you're clearly on something. The market started out from NOTHING 1-2 months ago. It's impossible for it to generate the vast amount of GP to cause an inflation like EOC's does. (mostly due to insane GP transfer from flowerclowns) Obviously they're not necessary to have in 07scape, but some players want that feel to own something that's had a long history in this game. As for stack limit, Java Engine back then, could only calculate a singular object up to 2.16 billion. hence the "max" limit.

Tomorrow I do a video blog sorta thing LIVE for some odd 20-30 high school kids for part of a youth thing I still do. Nervous as hell as I've never had my face online before AND it's live AND I haven't been involved for over 2 years.
  9. Like I said in update discussions, this is all you'll see in regards to the main update: Im surprised it took so long for the aviansie slayer task though. 5 years slow. And at least now QBD "should" give good chunks of slayer exp on tasks.
  10. I don't think anyone's was. Which will cause MORE anger. Unless they update/fix it tonight. (well, tonight for me)

Dude! You're killing me! You can't cut scotch! bahhhhh @Saq There's no way you won't find a way to get drunk/high at an Example concert. Just socialize a bit. I have faith in you ;) I'll bet it's a blast out there. Rage out for me! It was cask strength, you're not meant to drink it 100% raw. :P
  12. No offence, but that felt like a bit of a waste. Far too long intro, and all for the sake of just saying "Goto nardah, and pay the herb shop a few k coins and they identify for you"

We have far too many alcoholics. Soooo much paperwork crap I've had to fill out this week for this course. hopefully it's more....clearer once its all started and stuff. Also I tried the scotch my ex-bf's mum bought me when she was in Scotland last year. 60% alc and 105 proof. It packed a punch, I don't think I added enough soda water to it though. This is what I had, but....much smaller:

No, see there's normal fangirls like Bieber, backstreet boys (when I was a kid), Jessie McCartney and so on. THEN, there's a CULT of One Direction fangirls, who are like parasites. If you put any human who looks similar to one of those "band" members near them, they will tear him apart. literally. In other news, I almost got scammed by a phishing site for my bank details because somehow they knew about both my email and my super savings. (not that its much) and robbing from someone who's already unemployed should earn you a free ticket to being shot in the foot by a high-powered assault weapon.
  17. And then the riots and attempted law-suits begin for "misconception merchandise"

It's one of the reasons I decided to do the course I'm doing now. Though in Aus, JOB WISE, If you wanted to do unpaid experience, most places wont do it out of fear for OHS/suing reasons. it's why unless you have 5 years exp, irish or 'dem cleavages you wont get a bar job in Australia, and that's not being racist/sexist, it's sadly true.

^ No joke, if you do I'd ensure a broken nose is the least of your concerns. Being the bartender is a massive responsibility, you're supposed to look after every patron, regardless if you hate them or not. As someone who wanted to make a proper career out of out, I feel rather insulted you'd even think of such as thing in that position. Then I see these 18 year olds here in Aus who go "yeah I pour drinks to get laid, [bleep]es love bartenders", your not just a drink pourer, you're an artist of a high responsibility, you don't do this to get laid, you do it because it's a career you want. sorry if I went on a rant tangent there.
  21. Another thing that'll be interesting is we supposedly get 2 new skills this year. We're closing in on April already, Summer starts in June so they'll be pushing for completing/fixing a skill soon, AND HTML5, AND then another skill towards the end of the year (which also would be the first skill made from scratch via HTML5 engine). Looking to be both interesting and quite a cramped year.
  22. O_O Chances are Jagex totally forgot about those who paid gold membership for first access/beta etc. EDIT: one thing I look forward to is customise interfaces, so even skillers, pures etc can have it set for them.

Wait...you just met her and moving in together? That's as crazy as the chick who had some guys name tattoo'd across her face after dating for 1 day.
  24. Collage of pwnage! Oh my god. I love this. I'm like a spinning saw of death, a weapon in human form! Teleport me around your friends so that I can cut them too! Also... What the hell am I?? _______ And finally, plates for me!! :) It took so long to get to this point... _______ Helm obtained! Took 4 Overload Flasks to get. That would mean I killed 900 in 2 hours. Alternating between Berserker and Flurry does that. Are they both SOF AND Droppable? Also, Taunt screenie pl0x.

Currently watching House of Reps talking to Adobe, Apple and Microsoft about why they think it's fair to charge 60-80% more to Australians, for NO reason for software, hardware and electronics in general. Because no offence to the rest of the world, but we're getting [bleep]ing ripped off something chronic. Good example, we pay x2 more for the DIGITAL copy of Windows 7 then the US. Digital, there's ZERO difference between the two except Microsoft are going "LOLOLOLOLOLMONIEZ"
