OHGOD! I'm moving my desk into the loungeroom. there's on breeze in current PC room and it all sweeps through kitchen and loungeroom. Fainted once today from heat (thankfully I was already sitting on couch) and cried about my weight because it's too F-ing hot to ANY exercise, as I cant afford a GYM membership.

Close. Was an older bloke around 50/60, and didn't have a bowler cap or suspenders. had normal music CD's also, but specialized in Vinyl, Vinyl collectives like "KISS Albums w/ promo posters" that were from the 80's and stuff.
  6. Probably should have posted it in the health/fitness section. Also, Wiki is your friend. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscle_hypertrophy

Gawd maddy, you're so ooooooold. :3 So, I had a chat with a bloke who runs a vinyl record shop nearby today. He's looking to hire someone next month and told me "before you hand your resume in, make sure you outline key points I'll notice from a first glance otherwise i'll just toss it since I get a lot of resumes lately. Try to have it really stick out, outlining your music background, movies and culture." so TIF'ers, I'm wondering if some (like Felix and Sam) can give me some advice to write up a good covering letter and resume that will really stick out, and make him see hiring me is the best choice? I want to have it ready by next Friday at latest so it shows I'm keen and ready for the job.

I'd feel dirty too for jumping on the twitter bandwagon. Spent $120 on food today that should last close to 2 weeks worth (meat, veggos and the sort). As opposed to my boyfriend's food spend last week of nearly $200 that lasted just less then a week. Bloody organic crap, biggest rip off. Dunno why people think it's healthier. I also finally bought a comb. lost mine 2 weeks back and my head has been feeling so weird without the daily brush.

Sweet beards of Zeus my hair has gotten fluffy lately.
  14. I'm looking at making the transition from Film to Digital, simply because film costs an arse-load, and everytime I get my B&W film developed, they always stuff it up. I'm wondering whats an affordable entry-level camera that can: Take good quality Images. (not expecting them to be crystal clear) Have video function (again, not crystal clear, but 720p would be swell) have a microphone attachment. Is it possible to find one, even 2nd hand on ebay for around $300-$400 that has those qualities?

solo living in Aus is just impossible, the rental market is overflooding with young parents, single parents, young people, etc on top of overpriced rental housing. If I can find a cheap enough place that also has a car port or garage for under $130 AUS, that'd be swell.

There's a chance I might be moving in with an old friend in a different part of Brisbane, right in near all the club scenes. Brett's (bf) planning on joining the defence force early this year and I wont earn enough to be able to pay for this house's rent on my own. In a way, I'm not bothered if he gets in. Lately it's been wierd because I've never moved out before, but doing it straight off the bat with a partner makes me feel claustrophobic.
  17. I'm more curious how you managed to stay ~60kg. Then again I worked in fast food industry and that does wonders for fattening when it's all you can access when on a lunch/dinner break.
  18. keepsake key does work, It's also the only way atm.

The Vlog brothers were essentially nobody before YT, but I can't speak for their financial situation prior. Jenna Marbles was likely loaded. Shane Dawson was of moderate wealth, nothing super fancy. Built his empire from scratch. Watsky (gWatsky) was of upper middle wealth, but likely self built. SwiftKarateChop had next to nothing starting out, or atleast that's what you can assume by his early videos. OAG had nothing to start with, just a random girl making fun of Bieber. I can't remember the special effects guy that's everywhere, but he had funding to help him, certainly not only his parents. Couldn't tell you about Joseph Birdsong. I doubt he got his parent's help. And now you all know my strong ties to the world of vloggers. Blame the females I hang around. Common vbloggers like Jacksgap, Casparlee, marcusbutler etc. those group of specific vbloggers come from quite rich families, or had the money/resources to begin with. If I tried, I can't afford a new PC, a camera, a decent mic etc without taking months to amass.
  20. Well what do you want? A boss designed around lvl 90 combat stats using 'appropriate gear'? The monster has to be doable with slightly lower gear than it drops otherwise it'd be stupid as you wouldn't be able to get the gear in the first place. Are you saying a combat 160 player (with 80 attack, str and def) is supposed to go to KK and get drops he can't even use? Why not? Isn't that how nex, glacors and GWD work. Oh wait, average player gets crashed by SS Nex Gear arse tards. (generalization) That's how most bosses usually work, 50% players who can kill it, generally wont have stats to wield it's gear. With the exception of nex because that's basically a must.

Had a job interview this morning, hope I went well and I get the job. One thing I've noticed, majority of famous vbloggers on youtube like jacksgap etc, ALL come from rich families. Makes me wonder, is there anyone who became YT famous NOT because of the wealth of their parents to give them a boost.
  22. God Statues (members only) In this new Construction distraction and diversion, you'll help Copernicus Glyph - master sculptor - to build up to four statues each month at sites around Gielinor. There are four statue sites around the world: in Lumbridge, Taverley, Canifis and Gu'Tanoth. At each site, you'll have the choice of building a statue of any of the following: Commander Zilyana, Juna, Kr'il Tsutsaroth and General Graardor. It's up to you which statue you build and where, but tempers in the area may flare if you make a controversial choice! When you've made your choice, you'll follow Copernicus's expert directions to build scaffolding, from which his latest masterwork can be wrought. Once you've determined the correct number of pieces to be used and arranged them in columns of the right heights, the statue will be completed and you'll earn a hearty chunk of Construction XP. The quality of the statue that you build - and the XP reward - will depend on your current Construction level. If you have chosen a statue that's appropriate to the area in which you're building, then you'll have the opportunity to pray at that statue for a Prayer XP reward. However, if you've built a statue that ill fits the area's faith, then you'll earn the ire of one of the local god's more militant followers. Drive off the fanatic who attacks you and you'll earn a Slayer XP reward. In this way, you can choose to receive either Slayer or Prayer XP for each of the four statues that you can build per month. At the start of each calendar month, any statues you've built will be destroyed, and you'll be able to complete the D&D four more times for further rewards. Build any one statue four months in a row (in any location) and you'll earn a wieldable chisel, in the colour of the statue's related god. When wielded, this handy tool can be used to boost your Construction level by 1 - great for making some headway in your player-owned house! So, what're you waiting for? Prove to Copernicus that you're a chip off the old block and earn yourself some rocking rewards! Mod Roderick How to start God Statues: Speak to Copernicus Glyph. 23. Getting involved in a manga, hitting the end of it all and realizing there's 1 or 2 more chapters left in the series, and they haven't been released yet. :< or worse still, same thing but the author just decides "ah [bleep] it, can't be arsed with this manga anymore. I'll make a new one"
