Someone beat me to making the first non-confusing post. Edit: Why is that even debated, whether or not it adds to max or your min dmg? It's definitely max, I'll agree with Hedge. Why would your MAX damage go up in Kuradal's dungeon, which is proven true, when the ring (according to you) adds to min damage only. It doesn't just add +40 to base then increase your max. That's a lot stronger than just +40 max. They're saying every hit has +40 damage. I'm fairly certain that's not true, but, believe it or not, I can't find any data on it.

I doubt it happened randomly. Most likely you misclicked it. It's easy to accidentally click it and not realize it. You probably ran out of resources and were booted into safe mode, and that's why you lagged so much.
