Ok, so instead of bothering with VB because I find it annoying as hell to use, I'm just going to tell you what to do. Create a function with the argument "id". Create a string with the contents "http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/api/catalogue/detail.json?item=" Concatenate the string and id, so you get something like "http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/api/catalogue/detail.json?item=4798". This is the Grand Exchange API. ID is the item's unique id. You can find it by searching for an item in the ge database and hovering over the icon. Download the API. Make an object. Read the file you downloaded into the object. Return (object name).item.current.price That's how you get the ge price of an item. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Or just a system that mutes the bots automatically. I thought that at one point they implemented an auto-mute system, but because people abused it by tricking others into saying specific keywords, it was removed. It wasn't removed afaik. That's why autotalkers use that unreadable gibberish.

Runescape's target audience is just a bit younger than that, though. I wouldn't say that. From my personal observation, a lot of people are 18+, but any data we receive would be inaccurate, so we won't ever know for sure. Anyway, if you're still in high/middle school, it's likely that one of your parents or a sibling has a cellphone you can borrow for 30 seconds. @Kim Can you link me to the data?

95% of people aged 18-34 own a cellphone, and 70% own a laptop. So I think it would be safe to say that most people who own a computer have a cell phone. Obviously, you can't be certain from this data, but it is a good indicator.

It doesn't matter how much time you spend on the game, only how much you give up to play it. Someone who blows off their friends to play RuneScape is "more pathetic" than someone who has neurotic parents that don't let them out of their house. If you know what I mean.

Or those players can learn to play the game. Money is way too easy to make. I've gone from 0gp to Nex set (with divine) twice. It isn't hard, just everyone wants instant gratification which is not how life works. The ease of money making isn't really relevant. It's the time it takes to earn it. At 5m gp/hour, you're looking at around 93 hours for full pernix. That's really not a long time, but you can do so many things in 93 hours.
