Generally, you want to avoid any achievement items that aren't that hard to achieve (holiday items, skill capes, gold mining suit, etc.). They don't do anything except look tacky and/or nooby. As Cheefoo said, avoid being too matchy. Wearing all of one color is a bad idea. You want a little variety. Probably the best way to go is to find a good set of basic clothes.

If you ban a spam bot, a new one will replace it as soon as the owner notices. Ip bans are useless and unnecessary - ips can be easily changed and it affects everyone that uses that ip. Furthermore, it takes a long time and a lot of effort to release a bot nuke, and if any information about it is leaked to bot developers, all of it is wasted.

I think they're fine in the current system and don't need to be nerfed. They're expensive and drain your stats. Their only real advantage is that they let you last longer (since eating doesn't make you lose attack turns).

Your biggest obstacle will probably be killing jad (prayer switching, dealing with healers, etc). Your stats are good enough. Id recommend following Muggi's guide, but swap out the crystal bow and stuff for more modern equipment.

It's like you totally missed the point...No one is complaining about game changing or getting faster. They're complaining about Jagex selling out. The people who made the game what it is, the people that made us spend years of our lives on the computer, have left us, all out of greed. For a while it was fine because amazing content was still being produced, but now all we get are stupid squeal of fortune promotions and more rwt. When we do get an actual update, it's either dead content within a week or a laggy graphical update.
