All they're doing is evening out the pay. There is no discrimination anywhere. Google doesn't raise taxes. So they are just paying gay people more than straight people. Maybe I'm the one that misunderstood the article, but I'm pretty sure they're just compensating their gay employees for the increased taxes they have to pay.

If I knew that that would be the only way I could die, then I would love to know. I could do a bunch of dangerous stuff without putting myself in any real harm. I would do a bunch of drugs, alcohol, maybe go on a few murderous rampages, get the death penalty, survive, proclaim I'm God, do some more drugs, etc. But if I wouldn't be invincible, then I'd be a bit to cowardly to find out.

I'm not big on rap in general, but I've always had respect for Eminem. He's kinda like the Trent Reznor of rap. And although I haven't listened to Recovery in full yet, the bits and pieces I've heard through friends, the radio, etc. have been pretty decent, almost enough for me to throw out all my inhibitions regarding the genre, but not quite.

For the first time in years I am genuinely excited for a whole month's worth of updates. Good job, Jagex.

I love SDRE <3 Mineral is also a great band if you're into the early emo scene. A few more underrated bands are Acroma and The Exies. Acroma is an alt metal band that is absolutely amazing and The Exies are a rock band that simply deserve a lot more fans.

After reading through the topic on overrated bands, I thought it would be a good idea to create a similar thread for bands that don't get the recognition they deserve. The problem with saying these bands are overrated is that you weren't there at the time they were created. The concepts that were new at the time aren't really new anymore, they're nothing outstanding. That's sort of like saying the Beatles are overrated. They weren't when they were first releasing songs. I guess you're right, but I still feel like they have more fans than they deserve.

Oh, and here's a list of real screamo bands.

If that's your definition of screamo, then so be it, but real screamo should be bloody, violent, raw, and ear massacring. It's all about finding the beauty in chaos and destruction. It's like subjecting yourself to pain so that everything else feels so calm in comparison. It's the perfect way to let out all your feelings of anger, sadness, frustration, angst, confusion, and pain. Sure your music involves screaming and maybe the same emotional lyrics, but when I listen to Suffocate for [bleep] Sake, I don't really feel much, but maybe I didn't listen to the song enough, or maybe their other songs are different, I don't know. But when it comes down to it, bands like Ampere, bands like Louise Cyphre, Orchid, Sinaloa, JFFB, Raein, and bands like La Quiete have that almost indescribable quality that can only come from real screamo. On a side note, Suis La Lune wasn't bad, it was a bit too refined for my tastes, but I would consider it real screamo if they changed a few minor things.
