I like the Ender Saga. Also read Ender's Shadow but haven't followed up on the rest of that series yet. Isn't it funny how Dusty is always wrong whenever he accuses me of something?

Deathdrow's old country. Germania. Stop being [developmentally delayed]ed. Its not your country, Deathdrow gave it to me, you have no right to touch it. Any of your actions regarding it will be ignored.

 I am currently still selling my plans for the CN1 and CN2 for 300 and 200 billion respectively. Germania could trade Denmark and the Baltic coast (and 50 miles inland) of Germany for the plans for both tanks and a hundred billion dollars. I would like to buy Poland from Russia for the plans of the CN1 and 200 billion. Good?

I calculated my GDP. I got 1.1 trillion. Someone can check that for me. The shrimp drug is very successful, so that adds a few billion a year. And its not like I'll be spending all that money at once.

Germania: Since you just gained a bunch of land, I think it would only be fair if you gave up some of yours. I'll buy Denmark for $250 billion. Norway: I'll buy Troms and Finnmark off you for $200 Billion. Russia: I'll buy Poland for $450 Billion and the plans for the CN2. The SPSD's are nearing completion, many should be erected across Findenland within the next 3 years. The shrimp drug has been completed and are being marketed in many foreign nations. It seems to be popular with white collar workers. Scientists have stopped working on my lightsaber, because it could apparently cause an apocalypse. We have begun working on building up our Baltic Navy. We intend to make several battleships (or whatever the latest thing is) per year. We are also manufacturing more submarines. And the cooking recipes are a serious thing. I expect them to bring in several billion dollars a year when I start selling them world wide. The guys in the southern U.S. will love my BBQ recipe. The Germans will love my sauerkraut recipe. The Chinese will love my ramen and stir fry recipes. The Indians will love my curry recipes. The Spanish will love my Paella recipes. The Poles (and the Pittsburghese) will love my Pirogi recipes. The French will love my escargot recipe. The Australians will love my kangaroo burger recipe. The Canadians will love my moose-beaver-maple syrup pie recipe. The Mexicans, the taco, burrito, and nacho recipes. The Turks will feast to my turkey dinner recipes. The Brits will love my fish 'n' chips. And finally, the Americans will love my artery-clogging, heart attack-causing, greasy, delicious french fries.

How exactly does your super plane shooter downer work? You realize that the plane could go over your entire country in about 3 and a half minutes? Didn't I already explain it to you? It tracks the plane and estimates when it will cross over one of the SPSD's. Then the SPSD shoots an object into the air at the plane. It most likely won't hit, but if it even hits 1 plane at any point in time it's successful. I'd give it a 10% chance at striking down the plane.

Scientists are working on extracting a chemical from the bad shrimp to create a new psychedelic drug. CN1's are still in production, and the plans are up for sale for 300 billion dollars to almost all countries. The super-plane-shooter-downers are coming together well. I think I will name them SPSD's. I think we should re-do the battle, its not that I mind losing, its just that the scenario was like 20% accurate.

Why did everyone assume my fleet was spread all over the Baltic? I said several times that it was concentrated at the entrance to the Baltic so Dungeonal couldn't even enter. Like right between Denmark and Sweden. I think I said like 70% of my Baltic force was over there. Thats completely different than having my navy spread thin. And Dungeonal can't even get 280,000 men into Ivalo. That's [developmentally delayed]ed. How did he get even half that many people into Ivalo? His country is half the world away, he can't simply just fly them there. He can't boat them there. He doesn't have the power to sub them there. And they certainly can't walk there. The numbers were fairly off, so I demand that we replay the scenario, except with more accurate information.

Oh yeah. Hm. Alright, we'll just ignore that *hum de dum*. No war in Norway or Russia actually. I thought Brazil was using its troops in Norway to attack you. And I just said that you and Norway were having a war. There's a battle going on in Denmark atm, yeah. But not in Norway. Ok, but it will still be hard to get through Norway.

Dungeonal: I don't need to know where your navy is. My navy is waiting for your navy at the entrance to the Baltic Sea and at the Atlantic coast of Sweden. If you want to bring troops into Findenland, this is the best way to go. The only other options are to go through Russia, Germania, or Norway (the latter two would be bad, as wars are going on in both) or to go through Lapland, which completely failed. I think I would have the upper hand if you tried to enter the sea.

Why is it "only" 100,000? I don't understand. Also, naval battles are incredibly "resultless" (can't think of the term) - most of the time only one or two ships are sunk, so if my fleet kept going full pelt towards it's drop point, we'd lose at most one cargo ship, I think. I misread what you said, Sorry I see. I don't like how you get to govern how many troops I've got in Finland. Considering your resources, there's no way you're going to get 300,000 troops 100 something miles inland in extremely cold conditions. I don't know how many people/equipment your subs can hold, but you certainly don't have enough to get 300,000 into them. It is possible to get 80,000 men into the arctic ocean, but you wouldn't have enough equipment for them. That's where I got 100,000. That's rounding up. Around 90% of my navy is situated in the Baltic sea, so if 70% is at the entrance to it then 63% of my navy is there to prevent you from entering. You will likely lose more than 1 ship just getting into the Baltic Sea. I don't know how many men your ships can hold, but you will likely only get 60% or so through my first line of defense. Any ships that make it through will be harassed by my air force and will be met by my ground forces when they reach land. Dusty, I don't want to bring you into this. I just only want to make sure you aren't secretly helping Japan. I have 5 coastal defence ships, 9 submarines, 8 gunboats, 14 motor torpedo boats, 3 destroyers 5 minelayers, 14 minesweepers, and 1 aircraft carrier. I got these numbers from a list from 1939 for just Finland, so I spiced them up a bit to account for over 100 years of growth and the addition of other navies.

[/hide] You best re-do that map so that there aren't sub patrols in my waters. My subs have orders only to take down Japan's ships. Your ships can go through for free, with only a quick search to make sure you aren't smuggling soldiers in. Don't get angry over this, its only defensive. If Japan is smart he'll call of his ships from trying to enter through the Baltic Sea.

Wonderful! 300,000 troops, with 280,000 still fit to fight running rampage in Northern Finland because Hedgehog failed to post a counter. He just assumed my troops were ill prepared. Sigh. plsrewrite your post :/ I see what you're saying about Mount Fuji - but I don't have to train them all at once. And all the same, extreme cold can be simulated. So let's say that during the march to Ivalo another 15,000 troops were incapacitated [via cold] and 5,000 were picked off by your patrol parties. Seeing as you admitted you weren't defending Ivalo, we've been able to commandeer the city so our troops clothes and food have been replenished. We're fortifying the city as we await your counter attack. You can't even get that many troops into Findenland. Its impossible. The most you could get into Finland is only around 100,000. And where did I say I wasn't defending Ivalo? I have 5 military bases within 100 miles of Ivalo. Why wouldn't I defend it? It would just be hard for you to get people there. Lets say you get 80,000 men to Ivalo. My 50,000 men there have taken up a defensive stance in Ivalo. You won't take the city, especially with your freezing cold soldiers that don't live in heated rooms. My soldiers are inside buildings, with hot water and heat. They can last a lot longer than you can. And show me, where did I say I wasn't defending Ivalo, all I said on the matter was that you wouldn't have enough troops to attack, because I would outnumber you 2 or 3 to 1, with a defensive position. I've had troops there well before you even touched Finnish ice. The Baltic sea has also been blocked of between Denmark and Sweden, only approved ships are allowed in. Germania can go through, so as not to anger him. But you can't approach me by sea. Around 70% of my Baltic fleet is now at the opening, ready to sink any Japanese ships attempting to enter. In case enough enemy troops get by, Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga, and Terku are keeping an eye out. I'll post a pic of my Baltic defense in a minute or so. The red are submarine patrol areas, the black is the patrol areas for my ships. If a contraband ship enters, it will quickly be sunk by my subs. More defenses are also by the Atlantic border of Sweden, so any forced entry will face heavy losses, due to my navy and my ground forces near the ocean. I won't let you bring any soldiers into the Baltic Sea. All ships will be searched. Germanian ships will be allowed access, but still will be searched.

How exactly do you plan to hit a plane with a single rock, if the plane is going like 4 miles every second. And that would lead to less tax money for you. I'm not sure, that is best left for the people inventing it. I think it involves anticipating where the plane would go. If a plane is flying straight for Helsinki from due south, the blaster would rotate and shoot rocks straight up into the air and hit the plane. Even if it meant less money, my people would be happier. EDIT: My 100th post in this thread. Go me.

Non hallucination: Findenland has started work on several "blasters" that launch small rocks at the cockpits of high speed planes. If they hit the plane correctly, the plan will smash into the rock and kill the pilot. Many of these will be constructed across Findenland. Also, around 90% of furniture produced in Findenland is assembled by the user so citizens will save money when redecorating houses, AKA, more money to tax for me. Another recipe has been added to my cookbook: Shrimp cocktail, it is magical because it causes hallucinations.

There is a raging [fake] war going on testing Ross' suggestion for a war mechanic. Doom and Dusty have opted to manage their war themselves as they're reasonable about it. India is being given away (in one piece) to Rocco and I. [More on this later] My 300,000 troops attacking Ivalo in Finland still haven't been countered >.> Sorry I couldn't get on earlier. How did you get troops all the way up to Ivalo with out them freezing to death? The average MAX temperature is rarely above freezing. If you sent 300,000 troops, then only about 30,000 could still fight adequately, after you account for hypothermia, frostbite, and cold fingers. And that's ignoring how you even got them there. Your country is half the world away, so getting there would take an extremely long amount of time. You could boat through the solid-ice arctic ocean, fly over China and Russia (which possibly wouldn't go well). You would need to refill your jets multiple times, and when you finally got there, your engines would work with a lot less efficiency. Around 75% of your planes that flew over my land would have been shot down, so only 75,000 would make it too Findenland, and only 7500 would be able to fight after the first month. And to Dusty: He could never have "snuck in by rivers through the cover of darkness" because in the summer, the only time the rivers flow, there is never enough darkness to cover up a large amount of troops. If he went during winter, when it is nearly always dark, all the rivers would be frozen over. Any troops to make it into Finland would be easily taken care of. No they walked along the frozen rivers while your sentries were drinking tea. What about a submarine fleet under the icecaps? Sounds sensible enough - though not for 300,000 troops. Let's call it 80,000. Cold is an issue yes but as long as they're properly equipped it's not too bad; they've been training on top of the mountains of Japan and it's not exactly warm u there either. WRONG. We don't have any tea. The deal with Penguingeek never worked. You can't walk on the frozen rivers, you would easily fall through and then drown/hypothermia. Assuming you trained your troops at the top of Mt. Fuji, the only spot in Japan that gets even close to the temperatures in Ivalo, your troops would need to be using air tanks to breathe. You would spend a bunch of money. The site I looked at sells 125 breathes of oxygen for around $50. According to WikiAnswers, you breath 17,280 times a day. Assuming you only take a breath every minute to conserve oxygen, you would take 1440 breaths a day. That's worth about $576 day per person. If you train 400,000 men, that's $230 million dollars a day. You can't afford that. So the only reasonable way to train them would be at much lower elevations, where oxygen tanks are not necessary. At that point, your soldiers would be really under trained for the climate. Even if they were used to the climate, they can still get cold related injuries. You can go ahead and put troops in submarines and try to get them by my coastal protection in the arctic ocean. Even if you got by my subs, you'd have to send troops through Norway to get to Finland, then through 250 kilometers (no idea how many miles) to Ivalo in freezing temperatures. So 80,000 troops in submarines. Lets say you get 40,000 onto land. I'm not sure how many vehicles you can fit on a submarine, but I will assume you have enough to outfit 75% of your troops. The 25% that aren't in a vehicle would likely be dead with in a single day. So the leaves you with 30,000 troops. Then it will be around 4 hours to get your troops to Ivalo. That's plenty of time for my planes in Rovaniemi to come and harass your troops before they even reach my troops in Ivalo. So you would have around 27500 soldiers in Ivalo, not hard to defeat, especially since I'm defending. I know this is a fake war. Your methods still fail. Why would you even attack a small city in northern Finland? Makes no sense. EDIT: Dungeonal, please continue your assault, I want to test out my military.

To do that I would've had to acknowledge that you actually had control of Berlin, which wasn't going to happen. And the fact that such a stupid weapon could exist, which also wasn't going to happen. I never thought of it like that. The only thing is, I was pretending to be a Jedi while flying over your country when I dropped the light saber over your city. If it were stronger, then it would have blown up your whole city, but it only made a pothole. I'll make a post regarding how the latest version supposedly works.

Findenland has adopted a policy of peace. We will not be involved in any foreign affairs, except from trade, from now on. My barbecue recipe is still being tweaked, but it will soon be super perfect. After the barbecue is done, I'm thinking of making a good pizza recipe. Actually, I have a better idea, I'll make a whole cookbook of perfect recipes, then sell copies to help raise my GDP. I'm a genius. If Dusty we smart, he would've studied the light saber I dropped for him during the war, but it's too late now. On another note, I have ordered a less faulty version from my scientists, it should take 3 days real time. By the way, if any country wants to buy my cookbook when its finished, I'll sell copies for $35 each. EDIT: I like your strategy, but we all should agree on it before we are allowed to attack someone.

Things you do that you think no one else does
"I thought I was the only one!" My addiction with that and nail biting has got to the point that I now do it without knowing and the length of my index finger's nails are below .5 cm when they're supposed to be over 1 cm (there's more skin than nail). Seriously? I really thought I was the only one to do that :? I thought that's how you were supposed to brush your teeth... I appear to often slap "rules" on things that don't actually have any #-o I do all the ones I left. I thought I was unique with the dirt bike thing. Recently, I've been wrapping tape around my fingers when I'm all alone, so I can hopefully kick the habit of biting the skin around my nails.

Not telling you off, or making you add more money but the cost of researching the shuttle in real life, along with building it was 156 billion or so. But it doesn't matter, whatever you've put into it is fine. Yea, I read somewhere it was a lot more, but that simply sounded ridiculous to me. My explanation would be that since other countries already have shuttles, research would take much, much less time and money, and I'm using approximately the numbers I gave for the building and launch costs. As for India, being inactive should not make them invincible. And by inactive I don't mean being on vacation or something, but simply choosing to not post). I don't know if the rules are already like this, since I think the last invasion of India was only called off because of Germania sending troops. Nothing against you Adrenal, if you ever see this. I was successful in my diplomatic talks with Brunei, they'll be joining me in about a year. Samoa and Tonga are being a bit more resistant, but we're still trying. If I recall correctly, you were inactive for quite a long period, and were still able to keep your country. I'd hate to but heads with you again, but Penguin never controlled a large chunk of the world's population.
