It's like a 5 minute change, just change the parent to flex instead of block, remove the floats, and replace fixed widths with 50% for the children and 100% (or 90% or whatever) for the parent.

JavaScript is one of those languages that grows on you. Once you're familiar with it and you understand its quirks, it becomes a really fun language to use

It's not hard. It's kinda like C with dynamic typing. There are also a lot of shitty design choices, but those don't make it hard, just annoying. As with any other template language, you have to sanitize your output to prevent XSS attacks. Also, SQL is a terrible language and it places a huge burden on its user, so you need to be mindful of that.

Making something like that is a good learning experience though, as long as you did it correctly
