Nah, I don't think they'd get in trouble either. It can be hard to tell if someone's an autoer or not sometimes, since the programmers find ways.

Ring of wealth decreases chance of getting a clue scroll. The values it uses go by high alch value. Example: There's a creature that drops mithril daggers, every bronze weapon, dragon chain, and blue partyhat (don't get your hopes up, this is an example :P ). Without the ring of wealth, you have a higher chance of getting a blue party hat or bronze weapons, but lower chance of dragon chain and the mithril dagger, since those two have higher high alch values. If you wore ring of wealth when killing it, you have a higher chance of finding a dragon chain or mith dagger on top of that pile of bones, less chance of bronze, and much lower chance of a blue paper hat

Take the number of buyers into consideration too when selling. You're more likely to sell something at an average price than at a high price. For example, if you're selling fires at 20 ea, you'll sell them faster than at 30 ea. Say you sell at 20ea. You manage to sell 10k in an hour. That's 200k in an hour. Take that again, except at 30ea. You manage to sell 5k in an hour. That's 150k in that hour. Maybe you decided to try selling them at 50ea. You sell 1.5k in an hour. That's a mere 75k from the sales.

I can't get into West Ardougne. I've done the quest for it, gone there many times before, but now when I try to get there through tunnel there's just a mud patch. I can't find a way past. Thanks in advance for any help :D
