I got reported because I was killing guards in front of varrock castle for clues with a hunter's xbow, and I kept getting the guard that a level 30 was after when he was about one square away from hitting the guard :P Apparently it was against the rules because he is level 30 (thus suited to train on guards), and i'm a level 111 after clues (which is 100% not allowed, apparently). I just didn't bother asking him what he reported me for :lol: (I wasn't aiming for the guy he was after on purpose... I swear...)

honestly.. if I said "NP" to somebody and they got offended, I probably wouldn't want to be around them anyways :P

got an ahrims top from a pker who teleported to varrock then died from poison yesterday

i'm 77 range, I can hit steady 18-20s with enchanted mithril bolts, emerald tipped. with the addition of 5 poison damage that almost works everytime you hit an enemy, emerald bolts now pwn everything 8-) I hope they don't nerf it :(, I can see it coming though since Rune XBow now has better stats than Karils XBox, therefore making every part of the karils set useless now. EDIT --- I spelled XBow "XBox" twice :(

All the dragon slayer spots are ridiculously crowded right now... I was at red drags by myself, when suddenly a convoy of about six people walk in and start taking all my kills :? I wonder if the 80% of green dragon slayers which are autoers know how to pick them up or not?

lost connection early in a bronze drag trip, came back to find myself in lumbridge, but I still had all my stuff. I <3 ring of life :) I was wearing full proselyte, whip, dfire shield, unholy symbol, and white boots and gloves. I also had about 18 prayer pot (4)s in my invent and a few antifires. Good thing I didn't lose all that junk :P

Yeah.. I've considered bludgeoning myself with a large blunt object to forget everything, so I can start all over again :thumbsup: I miss my good old full steel and mithril hatchet... Too bad if I walked around with that on now i'd get called a noob quite a bit :P

I would suggest hitting yourself in the head repeatedly with a large brick, until the onset of brain damage/amnesia. Then you could discover RS all over again :P

I got three power ammies from a magpie (like diamond ammies, only came pre-enchanted :))

actually, it's a 3x3 area, if it was 9x9, it would be affecting 81 squares :P OT: I don't think mage is underpowered, since barrage combines the hardest hitting spell, with the longest binding spell, with a wide area damage spell, sounds like the recipe for pwnage to me. The only drawback is that it makes team pking with meleers a problem, since the spell doesn't judge friend from foe :)

Wow, those hits are incredible.. If you went team pking with someone who had a DDP++, I don't think anything could stop you :lol: Why is it that my nerf senses are tingling? I have a feeling that one day i'm going to open the RS main page and see this: "We thought the dark bow was unfair and unbalanced the game, so we've taken away the guaranteed hit part of the spec, lowered damage bonus 10% for normal arrows and 30% for dragon. We've also lowered the range bonus to emulate that of a magic short bow, and made the spec 100% drain."

I dunno... what do implings have to do with ranging? :P And @ above person... I tried to make it as clear as I could that this has almost no base in reality... It's not my fault if some crackpot sees my post and goes "zomg d pick!!!1" and goes running off to the RSOF to tell everyone that it's a confirmed update. Because even I don't think it's very likely, I just wanted to run my idea past some other people :shock:

If you think speculating on a future update is making up stories, then you are very mislead :| speculation is, exactly, guessing about future updates with little or no background behind it to know what it is. you are confusing me with a stupid person, who associates everything jagex does with a new update, when i'm only suggesting the possibility of part of a new update. Also, if Jagex puts a picture of an item that everyone's been looking forward to for ages onto the site, which is almost doubtless that it will be put into the game sooner or later (since it has it's woodcutting counterpart), it stands out a little more than a picture of a "clown", or a "bronze sword", which is why i've never mentioned any of those pictures around the logo at the top as future updates. ------ there's another language pothole for you... Yum, dragon arrows FTW? And as long as I can conceal a large cannon which is much larger than a person in my invisible backpack, small creatures can carry picks. ------ what level is an imp guardian? You could assume that the 83 hunter maze would have some fairly high levels in it. A level 131 bronze dragon has a unique drop which is d legs, why wouldn't something of a similar level have a unique drop of a d pick? Maybe the pick is one of those 1:2000 odd-type rewards, like a d med from a fire giant. Just FTR, even I doubt myself, I just wanted to see if anyone else thought of the whole pick idea yet :P

If anyone can remember way back when the main page graphics were updated, there was a certain picture at the top of the high score table. There was a gold rock, and sitting beside it, a dragon pickaxe. A week or so later, the pick was removed and now only the rock remains. I'm thinking that Jagex is using hunter to add the dragon pickaxe to the game, since we already know they have a graphic concept for it, which usually means they plan on adding it.

The only thing that could fix XBows is a speed increase... They shoot like longbows and the bolt effects NEVER happen when you really need them to.
