I can prove that it works somewhat... Back when I was dustie slaying for 99 defence (and dragon chain, hehe), I bought 1k sharks and killed dusties until I ran out. I wore a RoW, and I got exactly 36 half key drops. With my earned wealth from all the drops I got, I bought a zerker ring and 1k more sharks. I used up the next 1000 sharks without RoW, and I got 19 half key drops. I think that 36 vs 19 is pretty significant statistically :)

bone bolts beat bronze bolts for sure, I max 15 with bone and like 10 with bronze... Both have similar speed and accuracy.

ranging guild sells bronze throwing axes for 4gp each... They're slow, but they hit the same as arrows and they're cheap and hella accurate :) I picked up 10k for 40k... How can you beat that price? They're pretty durable too, I think the break rate is alot lower than arrows.

erm.. Prices aren't going to go up because of the reduced money in economy... If someone can't get their asked price because the money just isn't there, they're going to lower the price if they ever hope to sell it.

I bought 50k bronze arrows for 7gp each... Last time I checked, the market price was a wee bit higher. And it's also more efficient because you don't have to use forums to find a seller :)

One time I saw an armor trimming scammer... I traded him and put up full guthix, then declined and said "Can you change the trim color to red?" he said yeah, and we traded again. I declined second screen and he logged out right after :P (I'm guessing that he thought he got away with my armor, then logged on to find out that I was still in possession of it :lol:)

I'd be on the streets, dealing drugs and otherwise doing illegal things. Sorry, I was just trying to make RS look like a good thing to spend time on :P

Yeah... I leave the chat whenever that Shadow guy shows up... The only thing worse than seeing at least five lines per page in the chatbox written by the same person, is the spam content in it, and the large amount of people that encourage him to come back and do more.

I'm pretty sure I spotted a few in catherby the other day... Gone? No. Greatly reduced in number? Probably.

lol... I wasted hours down there culling hundreds of sara spiritual rangers in hopes of getting D boots on the release day... Didn't work out, as you may have guessed :| I had my sara kill count well over 100 at one point.

It looks more like a Power Walking/Running skill then agility. Agility is for running/jumping/being stealthy, not just Running/Walking #-o I think they should do more with the Hunter's Icon though, kinda lame tbh Hehe... Power walking skill FTW, +1

Culled another 1k dust devils without getting a chain. But seriously, i'm at the 26k kill mark now, i'm a level and a half from 99 defence, and I still haven't gotten a chain. Anytime now...

I ran through black drags in taverly dungeon, intending to go up the ladder and talk to some of the catherby fishers. Black drag hit me and put me down to 2hp, I go up the ladder practically red barred and start joking around with the fishermen about how I nearly died, when a swarm pops up on that wee little island (d'oh!) Luckily I got it stuck behind a rock, and got to wait for half an hour to regen HP to run back out (didn't bring a teleport, and this was before home tele).

there's a wise old proverb that says "Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me." If your dumb enough to not smarten up after the first time you are scammed, then... Shame on you :?

I also use NoScript, I think it's the best ad/popup blocker that ever can be (Perfect, 100% blocking of popups and mass ad banners). I'm not F2P, so i'm not blocking any ads while i'm playing. I'm sure that they have no way of telling whether you are seeing their ads or not, let alone enforce it.

:lol: I played Club Penguin once.. I randomly wandered around for five minutes, tried playing some poorly made games, threw snowballs at people that didn't do anything, Tried to buy a hat to brighten up my character (A penguin 0_o), only to find out that I need to give them 7 bucks a month for a stupid hat... I quit after those first 15 minutes of confusion and torture. OT - I would: 1. Call Jagex 2. Tell them I have a bomb 3. Tell them to cancel the deal, or if it's too late, buy back RS, or else i'm coming over :twisted:

I distinctly remember when regicide came out... I saw someone with the new halberd and he had a large crowd following him (I was stealing cakes while wearing a santa, which was worth about 200k back in the day :P)
