My dad isn't a vegetarian and I was telling him about the cruel treatment of NOT JUST COWS but other animals mass produced in factories. Actually I bet most of us here know what it's like *cough*mcdonalds*wheeze* in the factories and he tells me that cows are FOOD and they're mindless stupid animals that don't care. Thoughts about this?

Well, I mean you don't eat the meat straight do you? Some people have it in pasta, others eat it alongside mash potatoes and corn and stuff. I mean we eat everything you do except for meat. When people think of vegetarians they think of people sitting down munching on celery or something. It's not like that.

Do I have to say it again? Being a VEGETARIAN doesn't mean that all you eat is VEGETABLES and PLANTS. Do you eat meat for every single meal of the day? No you dont. That's what we eat too.

But people don't "hunt" vegetables. Also, being a vegetarian doesn't mean eating vegetables all the time. We eat regular stuff like pasta, macaroni, cheese pizza, cake etc.

I'm just saying humans are not hunters anymore. Maybe only half of people have ever killed an animal for its meat. The rest of us have just bought it from the store.

Humans are predators? HA. Since when? In the last 50 years everyone now buys their meat from the store or from the restaraunt. Who actually goes out to kill a cow to make burgers for the family tonight? No of course not, we all buy our food from a restaraunt or a store. Even the factories that produce this meat are not hunters. The cows are mass bred in a factory, fed crap and slaughtered inhumanely, which is not similar to hunting. We humans have lost our hunting title in the last 50 or so years. This is all part of capitalism but I won't go into that now.
