However, they look nothing like any prayer altars you have seen before and it's easy to miss them. Also they will only restore a certain amount of prayer points. Equal to your prayer level i think.

i like the monochromatic colour scheme. yup the major thing is that the font colour or background needs changing. - its too hard to read white on pale blue. either darken the text or the background. also, i think the navigation text is too large in comparison to your main 'logo' plus i don't like that scroll bar on the content sction. oh, and the border of the introduction and content areas seem too thick for the design. some drop shadow and texture in the right places may also enhance it. all small points, v good overall

Totally true, and i actually think it insulting to be told that i must not block ads. - Honestly i didnt know about this rule until now, but when i was f2p half the times i tried to logon the ad interfered with the game. when i first started, i played a bit like that: i switched off chat and didn't trade with anyone. Didn't actively train, just did some quests and wondered around a bit, and i generally went to quiet places as if i ever put chat on, i was inevitably called a noob.... If i'd have continued playing that way, seriously, i'd have got bored and quit long ago.

i use balloons, and juding by the fact that i usually see the same abyss crafters when i get to the altar, i think the times are pretty similar. you don't need to take a tinderbox for the balloon transport tho so you only lose 1 ess per trip.
