I had an alter in one of my dungeons. This is still good advice though. I will confirm the occasional prayer altars. However, they look nothing like any prayer altars you have seen before and it's easy to miss them. Also they will only restore a certain amount of prayer points. Equal to your prayer level i think.

i like the monochromatic colour scheme. yup the major thing is that the font colour or background needs changing. - its too hard to read white on pale blue. either darken the text or the background. also, i think the navigation text is too large in comparison to your main 'logo' plus i don't like that scroll bar on the content sction. oh, and the border of the introduction and content areas seem too thick for the design. some drop shadow and texture in the right places may also enhance it. all small points, v good overall

Totally true, and i actually think it insulting to be told that i must not block ads. - Honestly i didnt know about this rule until now, but when i was f2p half the times i tried to logon the ad interfered with the game. Call me cynical but rule 15 is only there to benefit the company whereas the others actually benefit the game.

when i first started, i played a bit like that: i switched off chat and didn't trade with anyone. Didn't actively train, just did some quests and wondered around a bit, and i generally went to quiet places as if i ever put chat on, i was inevitably called a noob.... If i'd have continued playing that way, seriously, i'd have got bored and quit long ago.

i use balloons, and juding by the fact that i usually see the same abyss crafters when i get to the altar, i think the times are pretty similar. you don't need to take a tinderbox for the balloon transport tho so you only lose 1 ess per trip.

Wish i'd seen this kind of inspiration before i built mine: -treasure room yet to be built. -formal garden contains the dungeon entrance. my main priorities were 1. To have the chapel and portal rooms by the entrance 2. To have a good flow around the house, so that each door lead to another room as much as possible. 3. I'd already built the study and costume room when i redesigned so they stayed put.

Yeah, if Jagex currently consider themselves Java game experts i don't see them having any plans to move the game off browser, at least not in the next 5 years. maybe after... how about the future lying in the future of the java engine or handheld devices. mobile rs anyone??? =P~ =P~ :XD:

agreed that there are a good number of adults playing the game and also that finding them is probably a little harder, playing on any one world long enough i guess you'd get to know people of a similar mind. haven't tried 99 myself though, yet... some kids also probably don't realise that they're not the first to start playing computer games and that most adults have either grown up with them, or started playing them, back in the 80s. Some of us just never stopped! :oops:

miniclip for me too, used to play their games all the time when i was bored. - noticed runescape there and thought i'd try it. But never expected to be playing it for longer than an afternoon to be honest....

rcer's don't have to use the abyss. I think f2p rune miners realise that there is no alternative and just put up with it...

hi, i'm thirst and have been playing for nearly 2 years now and became p2p about a year ago. Have been using tip.it for most of that time but only just joined. My current goal is 85 slayer.

yes, i also see 85 slayer as an achievement rather than a way to make cash. I also find it a good structured way to train combat as i was never any good at killing one monster ad infinitum. It may not be the quickest, but being told what to do is so much easier sometimes :) anyways, bout another month of slaying til 85...
