WoW, just wow... that is SOOO wrong my account was created in dec 2001 so i've been around for most of the drops, HOWEVER i have never got any. I never bothered to log on on holidays or whenever to get the prized drops. I do remember ppl selling phats in varrock for 40k, but back then i was too busy trying to earn enough to buy a mith kite and waiting for w13's drop party...

you have 99 fletch and 90 mage that's pretty impressive on topic: i always buy the yew logs and bstrings and fletch my own bows. then i alch them with nats that i either 1)crafted 2)bought really cheap or 3)bought at mage guild really cheap last time i was alching

all your observations are correct guthan's set effect (healing) is visible guthan can heal himself through prayer - he simply heals equal to what he would have dealt to you if you weren't praying for this reason, I personally do barrows in the following order: (bring a granite shield and food and 1 pray pot and MAGE equip - nothing melee) dharok (pray) kairl (pray) - equip granite shield when 4 pts remaining verac - drink 1 dose pray pot and (pray) for 21pts. then finish him off with shield torag and GUTHAN - just mage them with granite shield and heal. they require at most 2-3 lobsters each with my stats (really low, actually) lastly is ahrim - black dhides with 20 rune arrows and no prayer is pretty easy. may cost you 3-4 lobsters so to tunnels, finish off last dude, open chest, get 6 pl8s, rejoice

Does anyone ever use this spell anymore? it has the same lvl requirement as magic dart and the same rune requirement as fire blast (with air staff) and the Iban staff has to be recharged often am i missing something here? or is there some great reason to use this spell/staff that i'm missing?

honestly i'd have to say 35% of my time is spent on forums it would be more, but ppl can't post new stuff fast enough

heh, i only got one green, but i know that'll never be true one thing of interest to me is the treasure trails, they were always my favorite part of ranging drags. are there any changes or new items to look for? the newest i'm familiar with is guilded armor and god pages
