I just invested 5m in Blood runes. I might invest up to another 25m over this weekend. They are selling for 330gp on GE. I predict they are going to rise in price. There is no way to loose money here, as I can just sell them on Karamja with gloves for the same 330 so there is no risk :)

JAGeX isn't going to kill a part of the game that they have devoted an entire "official" server to. They will find a loophole for it. Possibly they will make all Law Runes and Essence worth 1gp on Entrana on that server only. Such a limited effect would solve the problem quite easily. However, I'm sure there are tons of other great solutions.

Actually, with GE it's possible to buy uncut gems + gold and craft jewelry and then sell it back. It's possible to make a nice profit here at a good exp rate, but it WILL take time to sell on GE just like most other things are selling very slowly right now. You also get the magic exp from enchanting and smithing if you smelted the gold (unless you have goldsmelting gloves, buy bars as the xp w/o gloves is not worth the time).

+1 I used this method over the summer back the last time I bothered RCing and it was great. I'd double check before trusting me, but I think it is OAK logs that are required to get to Entrana via balloon.

KQ is not a problem at all. As long as you have 60+ hp and at least 1 shark, it is totally possible to stay above 20hp for the full time period. You just gotta know how to dance with the Queen. My partner and I did over 4 hours worth of runs last Wednesday, so trust me.[/hide]

Next time you have a thought, let it go. Beyond Ron White's advice, if everyone had a horse then the servers would lag so bad that noone would be able to enjoy their gameplay. Besides, certain areas are inappropriate for horses like dungeons and the desert.

I wouldn't be surprised if JAGeX charged a certain percent sales charge/ tax of probably like 10% if I predict correctly. This would blow your idea out of the water.

What is it? I've never done it and I want to start soon. Assuming I have the Dragon Bones available, would it be fastest in my own house or someone else? Any advice will help, thanks.

I forsee one possibly BIG problem - MONOPOLY With Runescape's entire supply market located in one store, what is to prevent one of the wealthy players from buying 100% of a certain resource? They could effectively gain a monopoly on that market and manipulate prices. What do others think about this? I'm no Economics major, but I have taken the university class and this seems like a possible problem. We all know that JAGeX doesn't always think things through ahead of time. One possible solution I can think of is having a limit on how much each player can buy a month, of say 500million gp per day. This would hinder the phat trading market, but little beyond that.

Any more suggestions?

I have to log out and wait until I have time to take my laptop to the library so I have a decent enough connection to complete her stupid game. Yes I am a member, and I play on worlds 58 and 59 while living in Suburban Detroit. I use the downloadable Runescape application from the JAGeX website. I am also using the newest version of Java available. My computer is also protected by Sophos Anti-Virus and a recent scan turned up negative. And yes, I am running Runescape on Low Detail. All I ever do is kill those silly Saradomin-hating-Bandits because anything else requires too much clicking to be an effective use of my time. Any other suggestions?

I've tried both High and Low Detail, both lag hard - the former worse than the latter. Serve vs Client lag - I don't know - how can I test? My intution tells me it's server lag, but I don't know enough about either to say one way or the other. How can I test?

Ok I've been having this problem ever since I started college in Sept. 2006. Basically, Runescape is incredibly laggy, despite the fact that we have a pretty strong internet connection. For example, Halo 3 runs perfectly on Xbox Live, but killing Bandits on Runescape has a 5-second delay on every click I make. It was recently suggested to me that maybe my computer settings are not optimized for playing Runescape. Now I'm studying Mechanical Engineering - I don't know the first thing about computer settings. Can someone help me out please? Edit: Edit (again):
