  1. Indeed this works. I've made 10s of M with vials of water with this method. You used WAYYYY more words than needed to explain this really simple method. Good tip, thanks!
  2. When RS2 first came out and I was still a noob with only 1 phat, I encountered a similar bug. I was able to pick up anyone else's cannon to replace mine which had recayed. This was limited to once per decay, and they were able to get a free replacement. I reported this bug to JAGeX years ago, and they fixed it. Perhaps it has returned?
  3. Simple (semi-noob) question: Does the Salve Ammy (e) work against Abberant Spectres? If not, what are the most common uses for the amulet? Thanks for the help!
  4. Clearly you need either better stats or equipment. When I first brought my Bunyip to Nechareals, my problem was that I couldn't eat my Pineapple Pizza's fast enough, and ended up dropping most of them on the floor to make space for Rune Drops... With a Bunyip, you heal 9hp/ minute (10 with rapid heal). So after a half hour, you healed 270 hp or the equivalent of 14 sharks. If you'd normally need to eat more than 14 sharks in a half hour, then you need supplementary food. If 14 sharks per half hour sounds like complete overkill (before bunyip), then you should be golden. Edit: Also, Monkfish are so 2007. Get with the times - Pineapple Pizza's are all the rage nowadays!
  5. Slayer is my preferred way. The 2 fastest ways are Waterfiends and bursting Rock Lobsters <-- no arguement there. Other decent charm droppers of Crimson + other nice drops include: Abbyssal Demons Nechreals Dust Devils If you want Greens, try Bloodvelds. For Gold, Hellhounds are your best best <-- although I would never recommend hunting for Golds since their exp/ charm isn't worth the time when you could be killing anything else I mentioned. Nothing drops Blues reliably, aside from Bork (5 per day). Also, many dragons seem to have a nice rate of Blues (but still less than 10%, if not less than 5%).
  6. Dude, never go to a Casino when you grow up. Or pubs. I got no solution for you - try getting addicted to something healthy like soccer or bicycling. This problem doesn't sound like it can be solved within the Runescape game. You should also get tested for A.D.D.
  7. I also prefer balloons - same reasons. But remember, there are no familiars when using balloons. I personally haven't RC'ed since summoning's release, so I'm not sure how big of a benefit the abyssal guys or terrorbird really are when RC'ing...
  8. Tip: If you want more money --> bring a Beaver or Hydra familiar. At least bring a Beast of Burden, but other 2 are better.
  9. +1 Or at least the Skiller's equivalent of the pseudo-AxeHut portal (some place to train Herblore or Mining or other neglected skills)
  10. Someone said 1k gp. That is too much, you'll be dropping some. Bring 905 gp for fees = 30 for boat and 875 for dungeon. Don't forget that axe - God knows how many times I've cursed myself for forgetting a stupid item I'm just planning on dropping anyways. Your setup is good, clearly you have a good idea of what you're doing if you can afford Dragon armor. I personally love my DFS so I'd recommend it if you got the cash to spring for it, same with Bando's armor - love it! Bring Ancient Mace (Bando's Mace) for specials so you can reclaim some prayer points. Use them on either Piety or Rapid Heal, whichever you feel is more worthwhile.
  11. Otto's Hut - teleport with Games Necklace to Barian Outpost, head south until you see a lake. Follow the lake SouthWest until you find the hut (near a fishing spot icon on the minimap). You're Welcome!
  12. My terrorbird won't carry any cannon pieces which is odd... 200k < 12*50k O well...
  13. I've heard a lvl 47 farmer say he couldn't get the exp, so my guess is 50.
  14. I'd advise Steam seeing as you need magic experience prior to being able ot equip Ahrim's anyways. However, Steam staves are dropping in price significantly faster than Ahrim's. If price is an issue, then take that into consideration.
  15. New Quest... Chill or Wait for a Quest Walkthrough.
  16. Even better, you can grab a Lava Titan for a nifty teleport + 10 mining levels boost (invisible effect).
  17. Can't watch video from work computer... could you please explain your method via text?
  18. Range defense. I was stubborn and went on to try my method this weekend and it didn't work. I tried 3 times :( Did another 3 solo runs with full Bandos and Verac helm for range def - much more successful runs. In conclusion Range defense > Mage defense. Also was wondering, what's a good under lvl 70 familiar to use? My bunyip and graak were horribly pointless there and the idea of dragging 18 items for a turtle is kind of a pain. I might try thr turtle next time if noone has any better ideas.
  19. Honestly, there is no reason why you couldn't do any of the no-risk minigames. Main reason - there is no risk of loosing your items involved. The worst case scenerio is that your team loses. Pest Control is very easy - when on the dedicated servers you'll almost never lose as long as you help your team instead of just kill random creeps for exp. Fight Pits will be harder since you don't have a team. Castle Wars is easy - again just help your team. Back in the day it used to be flooded with useless alchers who did nothing to help the team - how can you be worse?
  20. Wow! Interesting... I always thought the coolest thing about pineapple pizza was how incredibly cheap they are - lol. I would have never thought of finding an even cheaper method of getting the best slayer food in the game... Seriously, pineapple pizza heals more than sharks for less the cost. They aren't as good against strong monsters due to being a "2-click" food, but are a slayer's wet dream. Good tip! Edit: Owner of Truthscape. Very intelligent player and father who got fed up with TIF's immature complaints and is now relatively silent on these forums. He's a very nice guy if you get a chance to know him.
  21. It has been happening to me a lot since the "Slayer Rewards" update. You're not the only one. I'm unaware if this was possible prior to the update. It never happened to me and I thought it wasn't, so I accepted that as truth.
  22. Lol'd. +1 But look at the date of that interview. Back then, JAGeX really did listen to players a lot more (in my opinion).
  23. Sounds like you've been playing too much Diablo II : LoD... While the ideas are fine in principle, they would be considerably overpowered in the current game engine. For these ideas to work, there would need to be a major overhaul of how almost every armor and weapon in the game work to compensate for the addition of these abilities. Not supported. Onyx echanted Unbreakable Bando's armor + bunyip/ unicorn = freaking overpowered ability to solo-camp at GWD for hours... and that's without factoring in some of the imbalanced weapon possiblities you just introduced... Sappire enchanted Red Chincompa's with a higher range bonus? Sapphires cost close to nothing, making chinchompas faster and stronger you could get 350-400k ranged exp per hour. Tell me that's not imba.
  24. Support! Much better idea than Sailing, lol. However, I must say that the GWD altar is horribly underpowered. For being the top-reward of this skill, it boosts prayer less than the spa from "As A First Resort" and the Prayer Exp Bonus is not good enough to justify the much longer journey than simply teleporting to your house. The biggest reward of this skill is, in my opinion, worse than some of the lvl 70s rewards...
  25. If you have a party hat, why would you need to do this? You already have a lot of cash. I have a phat but I still want more money :) It's not like once you get a phat you no longer need to buy anything else, lol. However, I do not support this idea. It seems unnecessary and would waste JAGeX resources that could bring us a more worthwhile update in its stead.
