Are there any potions or pies I could use to boost myself into Vengeance from a lower level?

Not a glitch. When you pay for farmers to look after your trees, they cure any diseases that the trees suffer from. However, every disease adds time to thei growth counter (30 minutes if I remember correctly). Therefore, it would stand to reason that you are planting these trees without supercompost and are not sufficently leveled to do so OR got really unlucky OR possibly a mixture. Edit: My advice is to use supercompost if you need the trees to grow in a hurry. An extra 1k isn't going to break your bank if you can afford to be spamming fruit trees. Personally, I don't add compost because I only regrow my trees once every day or so and am not in a big hurry for them to grow. I've experienced your "glitch" a couple times when I returned to my Papaya's within 16 hours, so I know that this is your problem.

Greetings Tip-sters! Below is a guide I came across for Duo-ing the Corporal Beast. I didn't see this information anywhere on the forums and figured alot of you would value it highly (especially since it seems to be popular opinion on this forum that teams of 5+ are required to take down this monstrosity). Therefore, I am sharing this method here with my friends. *Disclamer* - This is NOT my guide. I have not tested it myself, but others whom I trust vouch for it. Also, the writer clearly needs to take some grammar or ESL classes (so forgive the author's poor English). @ Mods: This is a Guide, but I'm posting it here so people can discuss whether or not it works, and how it can be made better. Once some TIFers can confirm that this method is legit, I would request this get moved to Player-Made-Guides. How to DUO the Corporal Beast Hello fellow *edit*, this is my guide to duoing(or with more people) the corporal beast, my english isnt good so just want to let ya know. With this safespot I managed to duo the corporal beast. Soloing is impossible I think. Jagex will prolly remove this safespot after a while just like they did with bandos and sara. For this method u need range gear with ruby bolts e. I know this guide is not very proffesional, lay-out, what armour to bring etc. I only made this guide to show u the safespot. Ok lets start. I assume u have done corporal beast before when reading this guide. Go to the second room of the cave. Right click peek in as shown in this picture below: When u click peek in u will see this as shown below in the picture. The red dot is the safespot u are going to use. If the monster is in the blue lined area then put magic and go trough the passage with mage pray on and run to the safespot. Once u have him trapped wait like 2 minutes and then tell your friend or friends to come in. I dont know why but if u have safespotted him and your friend will come after it immediately the corporal will attack your friends, if u wait a few minutes u can go in withouth getting attacked by the corporal so u can safely walk to the safespot. U and your friends are now in the safespot, if the monster is after u, tell your friend(s) to attack the corporal and then get back into the safespot, the corporal should be after him now. Look at the FEETS of the corporal, if u attack him and his feets are moving then he is after u, if not attack him again. IF THE CORPORAL IS AFTER U AND U ATTACK HIM HE CAN ATTACK WITH HIS MULTI MAGIC ATTACK WHICH CAN DAMAGE EVERYONE WHO IS IN THE SAFESPOT ALOT. Keep attacking it untill its dead, it will take a while because u will hit alot of 0s with range. Gl killing the corporal COPIED FROM *another* WEBSITE

Only possible way JAGeX would implement this is if the items where ONLY PURCHASABLE via CASH. (no gold value) That means, you can buy a $10 decorative hat that gives no stats and can't be traded. Since it cannot be traded or lent and has no stats, it would not give players any advantage within the game. However, who is going to spend $10 of real money on a Coca-Cola bottle they can walk around with in the game with no stats?

Ok. Thanks. As an afterthought, does anyone have a Zamorak Solo-ing guide? The only thing I'm interested in is if I protect from Melee or Magic, which obviously changes my armor choice. Also, doesn't he have like a massive attack he uses when players pray? This is just from memory of hearing others talk about it. Finally, DFS + whip or Verac?

Unfortunately I can't get Lesser Demons assigned from Shilo... and at 127combat with 83 slayer I don't feel like messing around with other task assigners. So to clarify, is there any point in bringing my Slayer Helmet with me if I go solo some Zamorak GWD tonight? Or am I better off with a Verac's Helm?

I got a 100+ Great Demon assignment currently. I've never been to Zamorak's GWD Fortress, but at 127combat I doubt it'd be hard to solo. My question is: Is there any use for a Greater Demon assignment when solo-ing Zamorak GWD? I've heard the boss is actually a Lesser Demon. Is he also a Greater Demon? Or is there any other use for this task at GWD?

Doesn't add 20% to bonuses but to levels. So 20% to attack and strength, making 90 att/str go to 108 att/str. Thats definitely better. I believe you are misinformed and that the 20% attack and strength bonuses work as I depicted. However, I am not sure enough to call your statement wrong. Can anyone confirm Salve's effects one way or the other?

SALVE (E) Amulet FAILS! Use Fury Amulet instead. I'll let simple math make my arguement... Fire Cape + Dark RFD Gloves + Dragon Boots + Black Scimitar give: 32 Slash and 34 Strength bonuses Salve (e) adds 20%, making them 38.4 Slash and 40.8 Strength Fury adds +10 Slash and +8 Strength, making them 42 Slash and 42 Strength Fury also provides +5 prayer while the Salve (e) only provides +3, but this is less important. Ergo, use Fury instead of Salve (e). While 20% would dominate with a whip or godsword, the black scimmy is just too weak to get it's imbalanced effect...

Can someone please confirm is Black Defenders work? I'd like to know for certain that it does before I drop my rune defender and start from scratch... FYI - Black Kite Shields and Black Square Shields both have -2 range attack so it doesn't matter which one you equip when ranging...

The convenience you spoke of is exactly why I fell in love with the G.E. from the very first time JAGeX mentioned it. Unlike RWT updates, the GE has not replaced the classical methods of obtaining items. It has simply made those methods obsolete. However, if you need the item ASAP and cannot wait for the exchange to go through, you can always do things the old way. The GE is like Online Shopping --> you can still go to the store and buy soap, towels, milk, potatoes, Taylor Swift CDs, and bookcases OR you can just click Kmart.com and have it all shipped to your house. Can anyone confirm if black defender works? Claws do not!

So I'd have to drop my rune, Then get bronze, iron, etc Get Black, Then go all the way back to Rune again? Sounds like a pain... Also, BLACK CLAWS do not work against the Tormented Wraith (fyi) <-- I just tried.

Wonderful tip - simple. The G.E. is soooo easy to make money with, especially with graphs like this. It boggles my mind how people can complain that merchanting is dead. This is merchanting - buying items for the sole purpose of reselling them at a higher price without ever using them. :-D
