Heck, it was probably in the first major console war to ever appear. (There may have been some competition before, but I don't think it could match the scale of SNES vs Genesis). Later SEGA consoles failed, but SEGA really just stepped out of the business to start making games. Yet not one of Nintendo's consoles is a failure, each brang a new thing into gaming (exc SNES). One company makes one good console and one good gaming series. One company makes several good consoles and severl good gaming series. Atari on the other hand couldnt make games out of 2D arcade :lol:
