Well, I did use a rather interesting way to get myself alone with the girl I like to ask her out. I was texting her last night and when she asked what I was doing I told her that I was just sitting there thinking, and that I think tomorrow was going to be either really good or kinda bad. When she asked why, I told her its not the kind of thing I can say over a text and told her to ask me tomorrow if she wanted to know. So she asked me and I asked her out. Unfortunately, she said no, because her life is in a bad place atm. Oh well. EDIT: Right before I posted I got a text from her. She actually likes me as well. And she said maybe, when her life is going a little better something may happen :twss:

Thanks for your advice, guys. I think im gonna do a lot of research in the next couple of days and store this in my memory. I'll come up with some sort of visual aid this weekend. I am the type of person that ALWAYS talks with their hands, and my hand gestures often have no relevance to what i'm saying, I just have to do them. This could be a problem....

Well, here's the rundown. I have a persuasive speech to do in my lit class. It was going to be due in 3 weeks, but my teacher decided to be a jackass and make it due next Tuesday. Great, eh? Well, basically, my topic is on Religion in the Public (my stance is that religion should be kept OUT of the public). What I am asking of you guys here at the TIF (if you would be so inclined) is to help me. I need to prepare this speech (3-5 minutes, with at least one visual aid) fast. I would absolutely LOVE anyone who could provide me with any websites, quotes, information, good debating points, ideas for an aid, anything that might help me on this project.
