Well say a person is completely blind to the point where they cannot see anything and have been that way from birth. How can they see, for example, a red car in a dream, if they don't know what red or a car looks like?

Well, as I was walking with a friend downtown yesterday, this question came up. I was wondering if any of you could help me answer this (I don't know any blind or deaf people). Do blind people see when they dream? And do deaf people hear when they dream? Also, would a blind and deaf person even dream? How would that work?
