  14. Turns out I'll be formatting the comp soon and I'll be going from a clean install, are there any tutorials out there that would give help for something like this?

  16. Ok, so I've been searching a round a little more about dualbooting ubuntu and winxp and it seems it can get troublesome Would I just be better off buying a laptop solely to use linux on? If so, what brand has the best stock hardware support?
  17. I doubt that's a virus, just a random bug in firefox most likely ;) Try reinstalling it and see if that helps

  19. I've been playing around with some Ubuntu LiveCD's lately, and I am getting tired of not having a permanent home for it... Now how would I go about setting up a 10gb partition on a used drive and setting my comp up for dual booting?

  24. Bleh... Guess I missed the word laptop. Yup yup, laptops are dence therefore they are more common to problems with overheating. However, you can greatly increase the ariflow if you just set the laptop on two books or something allowing air to go in and around the vents [̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâï] <---- laptop -̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâÃÂ¯ÃÆÃ¢â¬Å¡Ãâï- <---- books or something :lol: Thought your suggestion was a little odd :P
