  1. Riding around on bald tyres, especially when there is ice on the road, does not make you a careful driver. When you are critising other peoples driving its not such a good idea to post something that shows blatent disregard for yours and other peoples safety as well. You speak as if you know anything. Don't. My tires weren't "bald", they just weren't up to Minnesota-Winter-With-Freezing-Rain standards. They had tread on them and they obviously weren't totally bald because they were on the car for the 5 years it was sitting in the garage not being driven. I was 16 at the time...Even if they WERE bald, I would have had no idea. What I mean is that I'm always very cautious while driving...I always wait if I think a car is too close (I often have people sitting with me saying "Go! You can go! Quick!" but I wait to be careful, lol) always signal, I even let people go before me just to be nice...This guy should have yeilded to me because he was on a side street and I was on a main road. Yes, he was to my right, but if I'm on the main road and he's on a side-street...GG, I have the right of way. Like I said, the look on the guys face was that of guilt. I believe he KNOWS he hit me and it was his fault, though he never actually SAID that. My agent said today that if it's 50-50 as for who was at fault, I get nothing, but if its 49-51 in my favour, I get 65% of blue book...We're guessing the blue book on my car as like $3,000, so I get like $1800. Not even enough to buy a new car, let alone pay the higher rates. Switching insurances probably won't be an option, by dad is friend's with our agent, but at the same time, I doubt that'll help me. My agent knows that I'm careful but it isn't his choice, if the company says to raise it, he has to. That's the worst part of it, is that my whole family has to pay more money for insurance because some guy hit ME. Here's a little picture I made so people can get a visual. He was just acting on information you gave him... "(with myself, lol yay for ice and bald tires, going into ditches ftl)". It's moronic for criticizing people for not being psychic.

[sarcasm] I'll take the up, down, left, right keys... you get the a,s,w,z keys. Use the Internet, its perty cheep now days. VoIP, headset, and a DSL connection will alow you to pay a game and talk with just about anyone. Its not like it will cost more than subscribing to programs like Live. You entirely missed my point. I don't know about you, but it's definitely more fun for me to play halo splitscreen with 4 friends than play it online with the same 4. I don't believe the internet can ever be a substitute to screencheating, punching, or covering someone's eyes... That's what makes playing in person so much more fun.

You still didn't address my point about the multiplayer aspects :)
  4. (Going to read later... but for now) Defensive driving :P
  5. Not sure if there's anything there that would do this, but for heat testing I use Prime95+Everest (You can find copies of the free everest floating around if you look hard)

You know... You are going to have to update your graphics card every year just to be able to play some of the new games, and even then, it's not guaranteed to work. So how are you going to do all of the things you can do on the computer? I'd have to agree, spending $300 on a video card (every year [maybe]) would acually pay off, because you could always do tons of other things on it. Does a PC have the lpug and play touch to it? No, you still have to install the game and unless it's a dedicated machine, you may have to shut down some other processes so the game runs smoothly. On consoles all but the worst of games run as intended and there is rarely any difference between peoples experiences. Also, you can't exactly do splitscreen on the computer, it either requires you get a bunch of friends to haul computers over to your house and hopefully have the same game and play or play it online. Consoles are just a "Hey, you have halo? Wanna play?" affair :)
  7. How are you so sure it wasn't doing just the opposite like most are designed to?
  8. I don't suppose you've ever seen NOVA? If I got clear PBS reception (and watched TV anymore) I'd be hooked ;)
  9. Reminds me of the governors race here :P The current governor gets bashed in ads and then she comes back with her own ad talking about why you should look at past examples instead of listening to her opponents bash her :P *sigh* I used to think it was illegal to blatantly bash a product in a commercial :(
  10. And the fact that most bigger than earth are gas giants :P
  11. VB.Net is fine? I made a personal RS Client with VB express (Free). Which is a few gigs all in all :P
  12. Everyone is always up for a religious war it seems :)
  13. *Agrees with Bubsa* *Freaks out cause he isn't sure Bubse agrees with him* BUBSA HATES ME! *Sobs* You have no idea how much I hate people like you. *agrees with bubsa* *disagrees in a moment of split personality* *flips out* Uhoh, no more Bubsa :o *snickers*
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Satanism a religion?
  15. I know you mean well runesmithie, but by that logic, we'd still be way back in the 1800's. I mean hell, why would something so small that we can't see it ever matter? How could that possibly do anything for us? It's so small! Surely we can keep on living our lives fully without caring about trivial stuff such as that! And boom, all of chemistry and basically all of modern technology goes down the tube. It's part of knowledge and learning. Knowing/Learning about our universe is probably the only concrete reason for living that I know of. I should have specified that those who want to understand it can go ahead, but those that flame others who don't really care each way should understand this viewpoint as well :P
  16. So pretty much, your objective is not to believe in something, but to not believe in something. I honestly cannot see the point in that, because really, what do you have to live for? Pretty much nothing from what i got from your post. And what do "might be" other universes have to do with the big bang theory? I really don't get why scientists believe in the big bang theory, and in reality, i don't think many actually do. In my opinion, there has to be a creator, and i've already decided who that is for me. Does it really matter which way we believe at all? We are perfectly capable of living our lives fully without caring about trivial stuff such as this ;)
  17. Looking on wikipedia, the largest known star is 1900 times the suns diameter (Antares is only 700) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_stars "If it replaced the Sun in our solar system, it would extend to the orbit of Saturn." Doesn't seem thaaaaat impressive though ;)
  18. Right. Kind of the whole point of this was to confuse the forum for a week, but apparently we have some party poopers... And to others, the confusion is better when using recent sigs, not sigs someone else used 2 years ago that everyone has forgotten about ;)
  19. Does marshmellow fluff go bad I've had some for a few years, never tried it with peanut butter though.... :P
  20. Jak, try to use a different avatar and sig :P Im trying... Its not easy when you have to worry if the person you're stealing from will like it or not. :-X Kill first, ask questions later ;)
  21. Jak, try to use a different avatar and sig :P
  22. Another note before I forget, try not to use someone elses stolen sig/avvy :P
  23. [1 - {none none}] This is quite simple, all you do is post once and edit any replies onto that post using the format '[replynumber - {posterthatyou'rereplyingto numberoftheirreplyyou'rereplyingto] postgoeshere' It will be utterly confusing, but hey, that makes it all the more fun :) [2 - {apinagez 1}] You get the idea! Just follow our example :D [3 - {apinagez 2}] Global warming is for pansies :) Everyone knows ninjas will save the day ;) [4 - {apinagez 3}] Uhoh, looks like we got forum gamesed :(
  24. At least you got my age and gender right. Why is it that no one ever spells my name correctly? Because you picked a silly name with a silly spelling. At least you aren't stuck with the word "Ranger" in your name... Silly? I think it's a very pretty name, mind you. But you're right, your name is worse. At least my name doesn't sound masculine. I'd hate to have a name like depressedsquirrel... the name is so long and it's so... depressing =\
