We used to have that class here, but for the past few years, no one was qualified to teach it... However, we do have forensics and it's a pretty popular thing (not that I'm in it ;) ). It sounds like what you're talking about
  3. yeah, I have 512mb ram and it runs at a whopping 9fps (1.7ghz proc too)
  4. only if you tell me who John Galt is :P
  5. If Tanya can do it, anyone can!
  6. Some people like warranties
  7. I read somewhere that they want to teach little boys to sit down instead of standing because its all equal for the women and such....
  8. But be sure you have a wriststrap!!! SM64DS is crap without one :P I never got a wriststrap :? :? Me and my friend talked about this, we both thought one came with the DS, but neither one of us got it. But i did beat it without it. Also, i just bought WarioWare Twisted (For GBA) man, that game is Tight!!!!! It's so awesome :P It's a whole lot easier and more intuitive with the wriststrap :P
  9. Exactly what I thought :P Tournaments in DB are just so much better because for the most part they don't fly around ^_^
  10. But be sure you have a wriststrap!!! SM64DS is crap without one :P
  11. Pff, it's all about classic dragonball
  12. Just thought I'd start a topic to share some trippy science videos and experiments to try :P Here's my personal favorite, it just blows my mind unless I think about it a lot :P Feather and Hammer http://GOOGLE VIDEO/videoplay?docid=6926891572259784994
  13. I've heard mario 3 on 3 is a little touchy with it's controls. NSMB is good for a week of straight playing and then replaying for another month or so... :P
  14. But who cares about that! It's available right now in Flash! http://intihuatani.usc.edu/cloud/flowing/black.html The object of the game is to get deeper and deeper The red pulses you see lead to a creature that will make you go deeper when you eat it and the blue pulses goes to a creature that makes you go shallower. Eating + creatures evolves you and to eat bigger creatures you need to eat their tails up first :) This game really reminded me of that first level of Spore (or what you would think is the first level) :P
  15. I'm going to see about that since my family is moving sometime in the future (might be during the end of the school year, not sure) and it won't be an inconvenience to get guitar lessons... and then year after I'll be in college :P My microphone has also been broken since february/march, so I'm out to go find a new one... Is there a style that would be cheap yet suited to what I'm doing? (or even something I can just plug in the headphone slot of my amp) Buy a halfway decent amp. Then buy a halfway decent sound card. Then buy a male-to-male patch cable to connect the amp's headphone out to the computer's line in. Then download Audacity and select recording from line-in. Then play guitar through the amp. It will play through your computer speakers as it records in Audacity. Then get a USB microphone and record a track over that and you have yourself guitar and vocals. Then do the same thing with a decent set of drums and percussion mics, as well as a bass, midi synth (which you can plug straight in the midi port if your sound card has one) and you have a song :D. Cheap recording ftw! Right... cheap :P I prefer to think my amp is decent enough for its size also :P
  16. There have been what, 2 major gameboy revisions since it's come out? (Color then Advance). I don't really see what you're getting at here... Color, advance, SP, and the new micro. As well as the 2 versions of DS also by Nintendo. The SP didn't introduce a new format of game cartridges and the same with the micro, which means they aren't required to play that new gameboy advance game. The DS' use the same formats also... :P They really aren't gameboys though ;)
  17. Not if it's downloadable content ;) even if its dl content it can be obtained for free, anything on the internet can be gotten for free if you know where to look and what to do I don't think it's quite so easy on a gaming console... And anyways, it's not exactly something to "back up" sony with. Yay, you could always pirate them? And then you have to get it on the console by some means :P and ultimately it'll be more hassle than it's worth, when you should have gotten a Wii :) There have been what, 2 major gameboy revisions since it's come out? 18. Well actually, per Galileo in the 16th century (cannonballs, leaning tower) all objects fall at the same rate. Only outside forces affect the rate of descent, i.e. Air resistance. Anyway, I know what you mean though. But I wanted it to be clear that this gun was randomly falling out of the sky into a person's hand. Well, we're just assuming this GIF is on Earth...
  19. Current games like Guitar Hero have in the options menu a thing that lefties can select and it makes the game adjust accordingly so. But Twilight Princess is said to have puzzles that use Link's handedness (however that'd work out), so they'd pretty much have to flip the map each time you toggled the option :P
  20. The same problems it would have caused for righties :P You'd be swinging the sword with your left hand and see it move with Link's right, which would be awkward =\ (unless you want to switch hands, but thatd be awkward too)
  21. For those who haven't seen any good graffiti and are wondering what the heck we're talking about.... http://www.visualorgasm.com
  22. Not if it's downloadable content ;)
  23. Guitar Hero II is being made for all major formats :DD I wonder if they'll go with a universal controller or take advantage of the wiimote? (IE sounds playing from teh wiimote)
