Anyways, ya, I felt challenged, and I like to help you guys out when I can. Nice sig btw Ant: I like the theme lol. I found a 3.6k @ 90 ea. Sweety's not on though.. So today I'm burning cosmics, and I get... 66 magic!! Made a Kharyll portal, saw Beerrobber a few times, and I did a little Abby Rcing. Died, lost a glory =(. Killed some greens, crafted and alched their hides, made a fair amount of money off that. But it's killing me I can't do barrows. I'm getting my range up: as of 9:40 I have 80 more bloodvelds to get 55 ranged. I might smith/fletch some mithril arrows, and I would like to train some slayer with range.

aw shucks I agree: your goal is quite up there, I like the goal of a red p hat! Let's just hope you and your girlfriend don't break up! That p hat will be hawt. Although I don't really care for p hats/santa's, etc I understand others like them: Enjoy it and enjoy the path!

It's all level 80+, everyone has ancients, Crystal bows, people use d scim spec when people protect prayer Strategy ftw!! And it's so much cooler when there are so few people, because there are no imbalanced teams, there are no noobs, just strategic higher levels (That's what I want to be), and its great! Awesome if you want a good game--that doesn't end 11-0.

Meh. I don't see anything wrong with them. You can kill them if it makes you happy, but I don't see them as evil, nor do I intend to demonize them like most of RS is trying to do. Unfortunately, saying this is essentially what Leester's sig warns about, the latter part that is: those that disagree will hate you even more (or something of that sort). Wildy=used to be risk vs reward Yes, he did. It's called Demonization. It's a propaganda technique:making your enemy 'evil' 'lower than you' 'beneath you' etc. It was done by allies too of course, but its sad that so many 4 year old 'Scapers fall for it. (The technique of demonizing itself is pretty smart, though annoying).

Nice work so far! Do you have a projected date/goal date for 99? (I know that's asking a lot).

Down to 2600 from 4100, though I think I might save around 600 for battlestave making. Ant is busy with farming/maybe training mage for some lunar spells. And shadow and Darkalien are killing dusties.

Yeah, sorry about that :oops: I didn't give it to any of my mistresses, actually (that'd be unfair :shame: ). Hotty's holding it. She's my main squeeze, after all. *Lol'ing a little bit at the inside joke* This break from fishing has led to enlightenment! :o Come to realize that combat level doesn't really mean anything, or prove anything (even in relation to total skill). I used to think Combat level was directly related to the amount of time someone has been playing the game (with exception to the level 3 skillers). So for a long time I thought: Low combat level + high total level = "wow." But I've had this account for almost three years (playing for about one and a half), so I know that doesn't really hold true. But when your combat level gets passed the 70s...Raising your skills isn't much of a challenge at all. Compared to a "Pure skiller" (very inefficient, imo) who can't teleport or complete certain quests (and so must go without a great deal of quest rewards), 70+ "Skillers" have it rather easy. So really, the only thing a level 70+ "Skiller" is saying is.."I don't like training combats." And that's cool. Intentionally avoiding combat experience beyond that level is pointless and doesn't prove anything except that you want to feel like somebody (the best sub level 90, for example). I'll admit that's how I felt. But now, I want to experience everything RuneScape has to offer. Combat happens to be a large part of that. Call me a cheapskate, I want the most out of my 5$ a month :P Thanks to everyone here who has a DK and/or Barrow and/or Slayer blog for giving me a glimpse of what I've been depriving myself of. Thanks, Death, for reminding me that I don't have to "choose" between Skills and Combat :) Everything 99 eventually, right? O:) [/rant] A few levelups yesterday. Missed 64 Defence. I played a game of c wars with Sweety yesterday, and made a delivery of dueling rings to her. We owned, but it was a standard 'everyone on other team leaves b/c their team isn't winning/has all these low levels.' Jagex, please save that game by not letting <60 play. I had a deal going with another player that I'd get the flag next (he was pretty cool), he got the flag, but then some noob took it. Oh well, Sweety had over 2 captures I think. Unfortunately, after leavers, noobs, etc. we took over the Zammy (We were Sara) castle, had a laugh or two there. I think 2 of them had prayer >43. I was saying it was like PC with the waves. Then when they did escape down the ladder outside, we had a team of ancienters :twisted: waiting outside with ice barrage. That was hilarious. Then it was like a jail, and we had snipers to prevent escapees. A guy was using a hunter crossbow, that was pretty cool. I still like world 2 c wars better--all level 70-80+, and everyone has crystal bows, ancients, etc. I've burned over 1000 cosmics, and I should have some magic levels coming in soon (have 2 now, level 65).

Meh. I don't really like the idea that 99 is a goal. I wouldn't call that what Paul and Andrew intended either.

I was watching Carlos Mencia the other day, I laughed when I saw this title. Figured it wouldn't be a good idea to post something about it though.

You were perfectly justified in doing that. Would I? Doubt it, depends on PKing conditions though, and what I was wearing. Its sorta like Abby RC pking, if Jagex wanted people to not pk, then they wouldn't put it in the wildy. The wilderness (Was) about risk vs reward, and it would be for the best if the wildy was made a decent place to skill.

How do you figure? I have a pure that I would never even consider making a member. Anyway, I think that Jagex likes pures and sees it as a way of emergent gameplay. srry that had to say at least 1 paying pure, I'm off to correct that. well we've seen through time that jagex at least show disliking to pures "not being in the spirit of the game". and qeltar, come on, you really think jagex can change their combat formula right now? :shame: sniper, I agree they don't have to support pures, but them being "deceptive" isn't really true, they have more attacking ability then cb lvl shows, but a lot less defensive skills then cb lvl shows, and even it they were deceptive, people would know how to recognize a pure and its stats by now. Just to remind you guys, A)Jagex can't really say anything but "We don't feel its in the spirit of the game." If they approve, people rant. If they disapprove, people rant. If they support, people rant. i)Jagex has narrowed down a few things that are "Not in the spirit of the game." a)Using a MouseKeys to alch b)Using the invisible safespots against barrows c)Deceiving people when trading B)Jagex gets $$ when people, free and member, play. a)Thus, Jagex tries to be like a good politician. They don't interfere when unnecessary, and they attempt to make everyone happy. Thus more people play, more $$ and more $$ potential. I wouldn't say they discriminate, what they do is rather logical, without too much pain one way or the other.

I would ask their opinion on the future of the economy. Otherwise, I would just say something like "Grats on your work," etc.

+1. Yanille is too strong for its effectiveness. Your guide layout is good. I like it, and well organized. Good use of images. However, this guide does stand a chance if you RC fires and mine iron, as that would be a bit more effective, even though it may not be that useful to most players (Not many people want to RC, mine, are members, etc.).
