  1. Story! Story! Story!! Just joking, on the off topic of your blog, but on the topic of the topic of your blog, what ranging level would you recommend for blue dragons? Ammo? Also, seeing that I have 74 agility [currently] would you recommend using the Fally bank and using the agility shortcuts to Taverly and the pipe squeeze to the blue dragons?
  2. Figured you could use a bump seeing that its been 5 days since anyone's posted. Btw Sweety, you may have to kill Ant for me. I had a p ess seller--81k or so-- for 80 each. You weren't on, so I asked Ant if I should buy some. He said that's becoming a common price, so there's no need. I'm praying he was right, because that's the lowest price I've ever seen.
  3. Loved reading through your blog--especially the DKing trip! Laughed when I saw the triumvirate shooting their crystal bows in tandem at Prime. Gl with your goals, and slayer, you've done well so far.
  4. You have some nice stats man, and good luck on your 85 slayer goal! That's one of mine, but I have alot to do before I start leveling it (e.g. full guthan's, some agility levels). Regardless, I like the set-up! Gl with leveling my friend! Btw, what's the difference between girlfriends dumping you and leaving you? Was looking at your information, and kinda got confused there. Recommended music: "Come Monday" (Jimmy Buffett) "A Pirate looks at Forty" (Jimmy Buffett). Ya, I'm a parrothead, and looking at your song choices you might not like mine a whole lot, but figured you might as well try them if you get the chance.
  5. Thanks, and btw, update your blog Beer. I think I'll go back to ranging as soon as I get my agility up a bit. Probably after I get 74. (Can't wait till 81). Should get 74 soon. Got 74 agility!!! I'll upload the pics tomorrow. 'Night TiF.
  6. Thank you Nuclear, for recognizing the issue at stake. While I would disagree about technology as it is, that is a moot point. Recognizing that getting a 99 is more than 'just clicking' was what I wanted to achieve, much like RS is much more than 'pixels.' That being said, I really like your ideas on a business. I think it would have been useful for you to provide more information about organizing a business. Overall though, I think the guide was well written and had solid information. Nice work.
  7. The thing is that if you demonize something enough that people dissaprove and even hate a tactic/person/race/gender people won't associate with it. If 95% of pkers (let's say) refuse to PK because someone is defenseless or because RC pking isn't 'honorable,' then the RCers have it easy. Demonization also comes with bonus side effect of making the RCers happy, because the person attacking them is lower than them-not even a pker!-and is a noob.
  8. Maybe having a fire cape can trim the quest cape :D just an idea... because i agree skills and quests don't coincide, but mini games and quests do! Maybe instead of gold trim lava would flow down the side and the quest cape in the middle? That'd be pretty hawt IMO. Heck, take any skill cape and add lava coming down the side. Ya, that'd be good with me.. Regardless, I like the idea of another cape trimming the quest cape. Perhaps the prestigious and nigh impossible to get music cape?
  9. hahaha You need to learn that it's the guide's content that matters, not the guide's layout. Heh heh. I agree with Muggi. i also agree with muggi  I agree that content is important, but is also important to reach your audience correctly and organize. Just believing that content will always get you by is foolish.
  10. Hmm. Your item guide needs ALOT of work. You totally forget stole amulets (If using protection prayers) and furies, fire capes, legend's capes, trimmed skill capes, rune/addy boots (better than climbing). Why is a warrior helm better and a berserker or neitiznot? Why not wear rune armor? (Add these things to your guide) Why is black d hide best? You neglect the Xbow and the Crystal bow. You neglect using your house to recharge prayer and using the fally portal to get to the mole. You also say that you should use your DDS spec, etc. until she is poisoned, but you then say you will be able to use your d mace spec when she is at half health?! Also, I would recommend the D hally spec. Because there is also a very well laid out AOW guide on this, it has a good chance to be locked, regardless that your's is 'for low levels' (The AOW works for low levels though). It's a she!! Just watched the vid, I think you should remove it. It appalls me that you waste prayer like that, use so much food, don't use your method well, don't show how to chase, you die and what's worse it isn't a tutorial on how to recover items, and then you proceed to kill the mole!?! Very weak tactics, very weak vid, very weak guide.
  11. Agreed. Fix the BB and use photobucket. The images are way too small. Have what you need to wear as a pic. Change some of the lighter (re:bright yellow) headings. Not a very appealing look, but the information seemed overall solid. 6/10
  12. Very good guide! Though I do have a disagreement with this statement: "I agree with your quote from vppunkrocker, I think merchanting requires skill, and I would argue that since you are using real life skills (communication, courtesy, appointment management, etc) that it is even more important than getting lvl 99. Anybody can click a mouse a couple million times, (heck you can program a computer to click a mouse a couple million times) what takes skill (and something you can't program a computer to do) is making decisions based upon what the market is doing, making people happy, happy enough that they will come back to you later, and generally just being able to interact with a human being. " While I in no way disagree that merchanting is a skill, and takes skill. I would completely disagree with the statement that "even a computer can.." This is probably the most idiotic statement I have ever heard, and is a terrible way to look at life. Even a computer can play chess better than a champion, so the Russian who learned at 1 and a half is worthless, right? Completely wrong. Just like learning chess, getting a 99 is quite difficult. I'd again like to state that while merchanting does take skill, learning chess, or perfecting training agility, or learning how to effectively buy and smelt also takes skill. Again though, it is necessary to look at the statement. In fact, this statement can even be countered by saying other things. The first I'd like to bring up is that skills take skill, and skill that isn't necessarily 'just clicking.' Take a look at even your own method of getting smithing experience. Ask yourself this: Does a smith have to 'just click' to get smithing experience like that? Of course not! He has to do trades, work as a smelter, etc. It is also possible to counter this argument by saying that computer programs are not yet 'good enough' to merchant. One might say now that computers could never emulate merchants, but I don't think I have to remind anyone of the power of programming today. 100 years ago, computer chess technology was unthinkable. Think again. Finally you could argue that perseverance, perfecting timing, are also 'real-life skills,' or even that 'real-life skills' are irrelevant. In conclusion, I'd like to state that even though this wasn't your quote, I believe you should edit your statement about totally agreeing with him, or else put something in that says you disagree with the aforementioned critiques of skilling. It would also be simple to just use ellipses (AKA the three periods, dot dot dot ---> ...) to take out what you disagree with. Now I'm not saying that you definitely should, but I think that the information provided is strong enough to convince you to change what you said. Thank you for your time, and thank you for reading this and considering my statement. ~Death
  13. Good guide. You should fix your picture of the hills; the 'high levels' circle is very hard to see.
  14. I generally hear the loss of high alch/slayer dart/some teles is not worth it to switch to Lunar. Most particularly high alch. But on the other hand I guess at your slayer level you won't be killing the better droppers, so I guess high alch isn't as necessary.
  15. I think he was, saw him as well as blink182 f55 in Yanille while mining iron today. They were both fming.
  16. *Looks at sig* Hmm... Looks like Guthan is pretty angry about you stealing his stoofs. What are you using the Guthan's for?
  17. Simple BlackArch. You go to the rock crabs outside and to the north of Relleka, do the part of the quest, use a spade to get in the tunnels, and then go into the side route to the brine rats. Grats on 69 slayer Shadow!!
  18. Hey, hey, hey! Those are my reservations! Added a new agility goal: 81. Today I killed 5 red dragons, and got some one in the high level's den (AKA rogue's den, chef's den according to me) to craft them. I then bought an archer's helm and a farseer's helm for 105k (for both) and then moved my house to Yanille. Teleported to my house, and then mined approx 525 iron ore. I headed on to the ape atoll agility course, got a good deal of xp (working towards my new goal), and went to bed. Night guys! Also, played alot of TP on Wii today, now I'm on the Twilight realm where I have to fight Zant.
  19. I believe you need 4 gold leaves and 2 marble blocks. Let me check.. Ya, 4 gold leaves, 2 marble blocks, and 2 cloth. 375k 375k 130k 130k 130k 130k (2 cloth for like 1.2k) 1.27m You got a robin!!!! 1337 hax1!!! So are you going to tell us your funny story? Btw, is there any reason you don't put your house in Yanille and tele to it? It has to be faster than Watchtower, and you would use less laws. You would have to use dust runes or tele tabs though to save space.
  20. I'll be able to get my own proselyte, unholy symbol, crystal bows, barrows gloves (have those), possibly veracs skirt (barrows ftw hopefully), possibly karils top, definitely black d hide body, possibly veracs helm, definitely proselyte helm, and likely an obby cape. But the ranger boots/ring would be really cool. Don't hold your breath though, I need a higher range/prayer level before I attempt the caves. I'm confident I can do them successfully.
  21. I suggest lessers or bloodvelds. Good loot, and easy to kill. They are very good xp. Hide behind the chair for bloodvelds, and on top of Crandor for the lessers. Curse pulling helps your ammo stack.
  22. That would be so cruel..
  23. I'm pretty sure only your slayer level effects it, and whether or not you just got that task (You can't get the same one twice in a row). You can get monsters you need to do quests for, and I don't think combat level changes anything.
  24. Completely. Check the AOW for Muggiwhplar's guide to Fight caves with a pure. And you don't need an archer set or anything, its just preferred. Also Fury>Unholy Symbol>Glory
  25. No you don't have to do any quests to access the mine. You just need to get down there  . It's a long walk if you haven't done the Watchtower Quest or don't have the teleport. Dueling Ring to C wars, or baloon to c wars ftw! I would agree than Yanille is the best.
