Due to a lack of interest anymore, I think I'm going to end the contest soon. I am going to be gone from tomorrow (Friday) to Monday, as I stated earlier. I will give the contest until then. All posts that are submitted before I leave will be allowed in the contest, the ones following that I will offer 50k each for, if I have interest in them. I will comment on the posts that are made while I am away, then I will give the artist three more days to make the changes, then placing and payment will be made. I'm trying to figure out what you want here. Do you want artists to help you make designs or just designs from artists that are already made? If you want artists... I have NO board design experience, however this would be a good start if you're looking for someone like me. I do best with someone telling me what to do, like "Make this," and I will do my best. What you do with what I make is your business. If you're looking for someone like that, contact me.

See the dots on the side? He probobly knows the hotkey for the eye dropper, and then for the pencil. So he gets his eyedropper, selects his color from the left, and dots it on the image. At least that's what it looks like to me. Very clever idea, never thought of that.

Click the tree at the top of the screen, and then click the little "E" next to the tree and select the type.

Things were a bit slower today, I hope I'm not discouraging anyone from entering by my comments. [*:3vnep1jx]canuck, I like the backgrounds you are doing, but it's a bit much. Try making the size 300X80 or something smaller, and the text still needs to be changed. I really don't know what would go good, but the all caps thing is not so good here. It's also too wide for board standards. [*:3vnep1jx]Kenshin2790, sorry, but I don't like symmetry in sigs. It makes me feel like I'm looking at only one half of it or something :P. Text isn't bad, maybe put a mild bevel on it next time. [*:3vnep1jx]Demoris, hate to say it, but I really don't like that. The background isn't very good in my opinion, and the text doesn't go with it. Try doing a different texture in the text, and a different font. Definately a differnent background. Maybe make it only 300X100, and make the font size smaller. [*:3vnep1jx]Jlr, I don't like the font on the top two but the effect is cool. Maybe make it smaller (300X100), and a different font definately. As for the third one, I love it. The font is not good for the sitution though. And maybe make a palm tree instead of the generic one, if you can. Some details on the board would be cool, maybe a shell or crab in the sand or something. The blanket looks out of place without something on it, so think of something maybe. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. I guess I will post a top few. These are in the order that I get them down the list, not in which I favor the most. These are also my favorites assuming that they will be changed to what I requested. EDIT: Added more favorites.

Illegally downloading programs is, well, illegal. Illegal means prohibited by law. It's also wrong, stealing from the company that makes these. They put years of work into creating these programs so that people can purchase them. Do you think that it would cost so much if they didn't put more than a couple of day's work into them? I just have something against going to your favorite P2P client and downloading something. The government should do a bit more about it in my opinion. Internet piracy doesn't help the economy any. How about this. If 20% of the people who use photoshop illegally downloaded it, down from only 5% from the previous version, Adobe isn't going to make as much money. So in the following version, they will probobly raise the price on the programs. So people like me, who save up and actually purchase a program, have to suffer and pay the extra $50 or $100 that it could be. Again, it's just not right. Maybe you didn't learn the difference between right and wrong while online.

Bryce and Photoshop are two completely different programs. Bryce is done for 3D renders, simple ones at that. It's about $80 US last I checked. Photoshop 7 is about $650 US Last I checked as well. I think there needs to be a sticky or something regarding programs used, it's just asked way too often. And please (not accusing you of anything) don't just go illegally download the program. It's just not right.

New one is much better. Nice work, it certainly looks similar. Now try to do something with that style and one of your own, and it will be unique :).

The woman still doesn't go (in my opinion), and the lightning bolt above my name is a bit our of place. Maybe put something else instead of the lightning, and for the woman, take her out and do something else there. I'd be happy with a porn star in there, but I don't think that is appropriate :P . [*:wzlnzztw]ScarletEve, the idea is good, but it is just of poor quality. The pictures you used aren't high quality, and it's just a picture of the lake with a flag picture on top, and text added. The text is a bit big, and another case where all caps doesn't work all that well. [*:wzlnzztw]X_B345T_X, that's kind of basic. Don't like it so much. If it isn't done, you should wait until it is before you post it. [*:wzlnzztw]makingau, the problem with those two is that there are too many different things going on. My mind can't see anything in them. The text looks like it was added in paint.

Very nice, those chips look very 3D, something that takes skill for only Photoshop. Good job, I encourage you to enter my contest.

They are mostly from tutorials it looks like, and I give you props from learning like that. Now that you know the basics, try something on your own, using the basics, not the tutorials.

There are 3,230 tutorials, and you're telling me there isn't anything good? I learned photoshop off of that site. I'm not very good, but that's another issue. If you follow tutorials, you will learn the basics, what they do, how to do it... It helps, even if it isn't what you want. You won't be pumping out perfect sigs after 1 tutorial.

Ok, I think it's time for another commentary... [*:3c9rk6qf]Kenshin2790, I don't like that so much, sorry. The blue is really bright, and doesn't go well with grunge in my opinion. The font is decent, but way over used. [*:3c9rk6qf]Demoris, The background is very similar still. I can try to tell you what I want changed, but that's really your job in this contest. Suprise me. Tell me what I want, sell me on it. I'm sorry, I'm not a creative person. I rely on other people to do that for me :P. [*:3c9rk6qf]GreatSilverWyrm, excellent. It is very unique, and nothing like I have ever seen. As I said, the text is a bit jaggy. Other than that, it's great! Very seasonal. [*:3c9rk6qf]ColAvanor, not bad. I already have a couple of smily sigs already though. The font doesn't go, neither do the lines. Do something unique with the text and maybe we'll talk. _____________________________________________________________ I like it a lot, and I don't think I'm a hippie... :? To be honest with you, it isn't what I wanted. Again, I want it all. I don't care the style, that was just what I was thinking of at the time. So just because you can't do a text effect, don't let it turn you away, I want to see your work :P . That's true, like I said, it's just an idea... As for colors, I guess it just depends on how the sig looks for a color mixtire. I like one color based sigs because they look pretty nice regardless, but mixed color sigs take some skill to be made to something I like. Hope that helped you some.

[*:q1il2xw1]canuck, the background is awesome on that. The text is a little wierd, all CAPS, which is ok in some cases but looks awkward here. the effect isn't all that great on it either. The border could be a bit more defined as well. [*:q1il2xw1]DruNKeN_T, that sig is actually pretty cool. You did some neat stuff with the text, and it's on a decent landscape. The colors aren't good I don't think and the bevel on the top and bottom parts is a bit much. The font doesn't really go, and it's a bit small. Maybe try moving it around also. I might suggest going to a font site (DaFont) and typing in the text you want it to display, then it will display the text in every font. Pretty cool and a good way to get a font that goes with the image. When I say text effects, I mean really cool text effects. I can't really explain it, you'd just have to look at what kind I want, something like what GreatSilverWyrm does to some of his. Maybe PM asking for an example or two. And I say I want that because that's what I am most interested in, but I will accept anything I like. I still want that, but it's not like I'm going to require it so for the cash. Just make a cool sig, and if you know what I'm talking about with the text, do that. If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry about it. EDIT: I found something that's sort of what I want. [link] Look at the photoshop section, and look through the various text styles. I don't want chrome, I want the unique things. And I want something unique, nothing from those tutorials. Hope that helps.

I don't really like monsters and magical creatures, or whatever people call them, but that's a nice drawing. I think I remember when you posted it on the old boards. [*:1jr2zilo]neo_bahumat, that's a cool sig, but the format is nearly identical on your sig, and one or two others on these boards. Think you could do something kind of unique? For the record, that's not the type of text effect I am looking for, but it's cool. I am looking for something like what GreatSilverWyrm does on a lot of his sigs, if you have seen them. [*:1jr2zilo]Astralinre, That's a nice landscape, text doesn't fit in any of the versions though. Also, it's not so unique. I want something you made just for me, and no one else. If the background was all different shades of the same color, it would be neat. [*:1jr2zilo]Demoris, I like space scenes, however... The text doesn't go, and it's all purple. I don't like purple so much when it's the sole color on the image. I do like space scenes that have a very realistic star field, with colored clouds (but not the same color). It's also a bit bright in around the white area. And there is too much noise in the rings :P. [*:1jr2zilo]operationfl, that's over twice the size limit. Smooth, but all you did was a gradient and a couple of filters for the background. Again, animation is smooth but way to big. Don't really like it much. [*:1jr2zilo]RoyalFlush, awesome sig, but the woman doesn't really go in it. Just kind of awkward if you ask me. Background is very nice, smooth. Add some more lineart or something and take out the woman. Don't think I forgot anyone.
