  1. Sorry if I didn't specify (or maybe I did) but I only want sigs here. Forsaken regarding the first one: no, to many jagged edges or needs anti-aliasing.
  2. Thought those contest losers were going to waste? How about your experiments? Well here's my proposition: I'll buy each and every decent sig that you've made for contests, for fun, or experiments. All you need to do is put "Peter" on it, and it's good to go. I will generally pay 50-100k each, probobly on the low end. I would like to request that if you submit something that it is not being used by someone else. If I don't like it, I'll just tell you. It's a lot of work to be a critic for each submission, so all I will do is say yes or no. I would also like to ask that you don't submit something you submitted in any of my contests This is just a chance to get rid of unused sigs, not a contest or anything. Thanks.

    Panoramic Image

Cool picture, glad to see I'm not the only one. I don't know what else to use other than the healing brush/patching tool. I used that a lot in my picture that you fixed up. :) EDIT: Sorry for the lack of comments, was using a very low quality computer with a very low quality monitor, couldn't see the image that well. Looks like a good picture, I too like the sky and earth, it's a huge difference from what I'm used to in Nevada. Lemmings, That program sounds really cool, but I think I would rather do the work myself. I consider it fun, and I like to have the feeling of accomplishment of doing it myself. I can't speak for anyone else though. I'd try cutting little sections of the rock out and pasting them in the spot, very carefully. It might take some time, bit could be worth it to you. Looking forward to seeing more of these, I myself have 3 or so to still do when I get home. :)
  4. Yes, you're right. Look at IDPUP's version, it's better. I didn't do so well on parts like that. It's hard to do them all well when the camera changes the coloring every photo.
  5. Thanks for all of the comments. My camera has minimal options, all it is based on is the photographer (me) and the lighting. I tried to get it as strait as possible, but I was off in some places. Expect another one within the next week, this time of the pacific ocean at Playa del Rey, California (Just south of Venice, Santa Monica). I'm there as we speak, and don't have anywhere to upload images to at the moment until I get home, otherwise I would be doing that now. So thanks again for the comments, I took them into consideration when taking the pictures for the next one. Thanks IDPUP for fixing the large version, found a few flaws in there I didn't think were so noticable :). I would like to see that panoramic you made on your vavation. I hope to see more photography or something similar to what I did being posted, kind of getting sick of the pixel art phase that everyone is going through. :)
  6. It should look more realistic, as it is photography. Oh, and thay guy's face is bubbled out  .
  7. While at nearby Lake Tahoe last week, I took 6 pictures from a spot on the beach. The challenging part (that took me 2 and a half hours) was getting every picture down to sizes that fit eachother, placing them, and then patching up the empty areas. The camera that I used sensed different levels of light in each picture, so each picture had a different lightness/darkness. That had to be changed as well, and was also time consuming. You might see some flaws, but note that this is the best I could do. Please rate or whatever, however I think ratings are overrated. If you like it, tell me why, don't just give me a number please. It might take a little while to load on a slow connection. Thanks, and enjoy. I have a larger version, but it is too large to view most of it at once. It can be found here. It might take a while to load.
  8. Go to Adobe's website and download a 30 day trial of Photoshop CS. It will most likely seem confusing at first if you've never used a graphics program, but go to a tutorial website (like Good-Tutorials) and try some of them.

    Mage pixel

What Demoris said is completely true. It seems you are concentrating way too much on getting it done quickly. If you look at sigs from a really good pixel artist (Lan_Hikari), you will see how much detail there is. I'd guess he spends towards two or three hours, not ten minutes. If nothing else, try to spice up what you've got. Add stress cracks to the staff, maybe try a glow or something around it. It would look a lot more realistic if it wasn't a square piece of wood, maybe make it gnarled or something, like it is a stick that they did something to. Those are all things to consider when doing these. Hope you get better at it. Try spending a lot of time on your next. Oh, and don't save it as .BMP. Try .PNG if you have problems, otherwise .JPG is the best for this purpose.
  10. I'm never on either, otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. The only time you will see me on is to pay one of you. But if by some chance I am paying someone else and you see me online, feel free to pm me, my name is peter00.
  11. BUMP again, I really want to pay everyone for their sigs. Kind of disappointing that the winners don't want their cash :(.
  12. Can I buy the last one? Just "Peter" on it, 25k for it?
  13. LOL, I was thinking the same thing. As for highest elevation, the highest I was up was at Lassen Peak (over 11,000 ft), I think. I was just there the other day, snowball fights in the summer are great. :D
  14. Just bumping this so that the artists know they've won :).
  15. I might try something, but then again I might not... We'll see :D .
  16. When I play I'm like the opposite of that. Just laid back about it, don't care. Love it when the myg0t guy kills them all, sprays, and plays the song. But if you really can't play without it raising your blood pressure, you should look into some of the Disney series games, I hear there are some really cool coloring ones.
  17. I'm a Jew, and we believe that life is more important than just about anything. So if I was in the situation of someone with a gun to my head asking if I believe in God, I would say no with no guilt involved, because that's what my religion says is allowed. Of course I would do the same if my religion said to stand up to what I believe in. I don't think anything is worth dieing for, death WILL happen, I guarantee it. No reason to speed up the process. Then religion will be pointless, as will anything else. I am not a self-centered person by any means, but that's what I believe. Regardless of faith or anything. I just don't think anything is worth dieing for if we will die anyway. As for fighting for beliefs, I don't think I would do that. Fighting is a bad way to get a message out, and I don't think war is a good solution for anything, be it terrorism or religion. The world is full of so many great minds, why not do something that would hit it where it hurts, but have it not involve killing. Just my opinion.
  18. I've been to many high elevations, over 14000 feet in South America somewhere. I've never actually climbed a mountain, if that's what you're asking. I met a guy who climbed Everest 4 times though  . :P
  19. Alright, I'm back now. I didn't see so many corrections that I requested, so here goes... [*:3pxkf631]Molishist,I don't like that at all. The colors don't seem to go so well, and it's just a poor abstract [*:3pxkf631]vladmoney, I like them both. The one with the flower is a cool vector, and it took me a little while to notice the animation. Cool. The second one, I like as well. Kind of reminds me of an early technology or something theme. No changes that I can see. [*:3pxkf631]ColAvanor, looks to me like you're using the same sig that you submitted... I guess that's kind of out of the question then. [*:3pxkf631]DruNKeN_T, I don't really like it. I like the sky and tree, but the smily doesn't really seem to go at all. [*:3pxkf631]teampots, that's pretty poor quality. Looks like a Windows Media Player visualization or something. You also didn't even put my name on it, which was my only request. [*:3pxkf631]l0new0lf, I don't like it much. The line art is decent, but the background is a very simple one that is really easy to make. After a bit of closer looking, it looks like the lines (or the text anyway) are just brushes. Not the kind of quality I'm looking for. So I guess that's it, and there are three more days for the changes that I have requested over the past few days. I will post winners now however, only assuming that the changes will be made. If you made a sig but didn't make the deadline, PM it to me and I will be happy to pay a reasonable price for it if it is to my liking. 1st place (500k) goes to GreatSilverWyrm for: ^PAID^ 2nd place (250k) goes to RoyalFlush for: ^PAID^ 3rd place (250k) goes to Jlr for: ^PAID^ 4th place (50k) goes to Danabis for: 5th place (50k) goes to vladmoney for: So those are the final placings, and I will pay 50k for the following. ^PAID^ ^PAID^ So once again, will the artists of the sigs that are on this post please PM me with the RS name that you want payment on, and I can pay you.
  20. Umm, it's not Nathininch's sig. Lan Hikari made it. Nathan has made no sigs to my knowledge, at least he's not showing them off if he is. Anyway, very nice sig. He does RS scenes very well, wish I played anymore to have reason for a RS themed sig.
  21. I don't think you should do that with sigs, for a couple of reasons. One, it takes up more bandwidth from the hosts of these people's images. Two, some people want their sig exclusively for these forums. You should ask permission first at least. Oh, and you shouldn't advertise for people. You are giving such a wide range of... Well, everything. You are just posting what anyone can post, and it should be left to them. If someone wants a sig, they can ask the person or make a post. Simple as that. If they use these boards as often as they should be, since they are getting a sig, then they know what the same sigs that are on your site look like, as they see them every time they browse these forums. Sorry for the rant or whatever, but I just don't see any reason for this... Whatever floats your boat.
  22. BAM! :D It's like a chain email, but worse. Follow along...
  23. Just take it off before you get a strike, and save a mod the trouble. No, I can't help. It's a poor quality image to begin with, so I don't think it will be any better at board limits. Sorry.
