  1. Absolutely anything can be included. Forgot to add that, will edit.
  2. I guess it's time for another big contest, a bit different than my last one though. This time the sigs must be within 300X150X30,000KB. I'm looking for cool text effects this time for the most part. However, as always, sigs I like will always be accepted, with my minimum payment of 50K. I am only looking for neat text effects in this one, but you are welcome to do whatever you wish, because I don't want a ton of sigs with neat text effects but a not so neat background. Try simple, pixel (another fav of mine), abstract, space, or landscape if you wish.I will take anything I like, regardless of what type it is. Some suggestions are a US flag (due to it being the 4th soon), a landscape version of Lake Tahoe, or a beach scene (summer time). The prizes are as follows: [*:295u10np]First prize: 500k [*:295u10np]Second prize: 250k [*:295u10np]Third prize: 250k [*:295u10np]Fourth prize: 50k [*:295u10np]Fifth prize: 50k Again, as always, I will buy sigs I like for a minimum of 50k. I will probobly be editing this post daily, if not more, so check the main post a lot. My main goal with this contest is to get most of the media board involved, regardless of skill level. But please be warned I can be somewhat ruthless when it comes to sigs. I certainly tell the truth about what I think of a submission. So that's about it, have fun! EDIT: When I comment like I do on every sig, I recommend that everyone reads the edits. They might have suggestions as to what I like and don't like. Another thing, I want something unique. I want something you made just for me.
  3. Thanks for the comments everyone.
  4. I made 11 of those. The rest go out to the artists from around here. And they cost me a lot.
  5. Well as a lot of you know, I have been collecting sigs for a while now. They used to be in my random sig script, but now since there is no way to use that any longer, I feel it's right to show them all off at once. There area lot of images, so it will probobly take a while to load. This is a chance for the artists of these to kind of show off, a gallery I guess you could call it. Also, I am not using my host for fear that my bandwidth will get eaten up by all of these appearing every time the page loads. Here goes: EDIT: EDIT 2:
  6. No problem. How are the entries coming?
  7. Private message him please... No one cares about this link other than you and him, so keep it private.
  8. I only like the first one, and I think I already posted about purchasing it somewhere else. So that kind of voids it, sorry. The landscape one is a very simple render, and the text doesn't go if you ask me. Maybe a different landscape, possibly one of a lake (see here.) And the last one, well there's just something about it. Maybe I saw it in a nightmare or something :P. Thanks for showing interest.
  9. Wow, that's quite the guide  . Too bad I don't have any trojans, but if I do I know where to come.
  10. They don't and probobly won't support POP3 due to the text ads. You can't get a text ad to pop up in Outlook Express. Wait a while and Google will probobly pay Microsoft so that you can. Oh, and this is from an email I got from the Gmail Team: _____________________________________________________________ Currently the only way you can get an invite is from an invite holder, or someone else with a Gmail account. It is still in beta stages, so they are limiting it. The reason so many people want invites is so that they can get a unique name, not like hotmail where EVERY good name is taken and you have to have seven digits after your name or something. And I won't give an invite for anything except sigs. I am really limited, and there are a lot of people who show interest. If you are truely interested, make some really nice sigs. If you don't make sigs, hang in there, if I get more invites I will think of something else you can do. It would be against the rules of RS for me to give you one for RS cash, not that I care about being banned, but you probobly don't want that. Any more questions?
  11. Umm, this off the top of my head: [*:2f1lugoq]1GB storage [*:2f1lugoq]Google search so that you can search for an email or the web. [*:2f1lugoq]Keyboard shortcuts [*:2f1lugoq]Filters (coolest idea ever, will explain) [*:2f1lugoq]10MB attachment size [*:2f1lugoq]People you mail are automatically added to Contacts list. [*:2f1lugoq]Go here. Filters are a cool little thing that scans incoming emails for specified key words and places them in a specified place. That probobly didn't make any sense, so here's a hypothetical example. (I don't really have this problem.) I have been getting a lot of email from a company trying to sell magazine subscriptions. There is no unsubscribe link, and I can't get rid of them. The company is called getmagazines.com (not a real site, I don't think). So I make a filter, and have it so that every email I get with the keyword "getmagazines.com" is automatically deleted. That's just a hypothetical situation, but here's a real one. I have it set up so that every email I get notifying my of a new private message, a response to a post, etc. is directed to my "label" (similar to hotmail's folders) called "Forums." I can make it bypass my inbox or stay in there and let me archive, but it still goes to my "Forums" label. Pretty awesome, I guess you'll just have to make some sigs so that you can try it out :) .
  12. It seems that Gmail invites are in demand right now, so here's my proposal. For every 3 (negotiable) sigs that you give, I will give you a Gmail invite. I am somewhat limited, so they will go the best that I get, and only the ones that I like. If you don't like my deal, just talk to me. I am a pretty understanding guy  . Don't care the sig style, just put "Peter" on it somewhere. Thanks. :)
  13. Cool sig, I'll pay 50k for it. PM me and I'll pay when I get home, if that's enough for it. If you want to sell, please just put the text "Peter" in it with the same text effects. Thanks!
  14. A bit plain, but I had fun doing it :) . Basically represents the expensive oil prices, which in turn makes higher gas prices. Also, if you interpret it as such, it can have something to do with the US being in the middle east, and the real reason for it. Once again, it's how you want to believe it.
  15. Needs stars and other extras, but the planets are cool.
  16. You need to refine your star making process. The stars are too uniform, look too computer generated. Looks like a bunch of pin holes in a piece of black construction paper. Then, the lens flare doesn't really go I don't think, or at least not anything around the bright star. I guess it isn't too bad though.

Can I pay you now? Rs name is Peter00.
  18. I don't really like hummers, just over priced Suburbans if you ask me... I don't think they deserve so much attention. But you wanted to know what I think.

I like them all. I'll take all of them, if you don't mind selling. all I want is the text "Peter" in them, in the same fonts and effects. So 180k to you, in RS (not classic). Nice work! EDIT: I'm sorry, I didn't see the "1 per person" on first glance. It seems no one else is buying currently, so I will take as many as you feel free to give, be it 1 or all. The first one is preferred.
  20. You'd think the "freaky" in the name would give it away? Or many the person would just X out of it after 10 seconds of nothing.
  21. That's pretty good Ryan, would be great in that style with no symmatry.
  22. The 'pot' is actually a lamp, with no shade. No posters because, well, it's still a work in progress. I'll think about what to add later. Maybe a painting would be nice. I might hadd a coffee table on the rug. Any if anyone is wondering, the really odd looking ground is supposed to be hard wood, but carpet sounds good too.
  23. Hehe you're right, it looks pretty good. Some amazing things. I guess I should say the style I'm going for doesn't involvew any anti-aliasing.
  24. The definate light source is the lamp, placed on the table, which explains the odd shadow on it. The couch is a messup from the start, and it is very difficult to make a good looking one. That's the fourth or fifth try. It is a work in progress, so needless to say, it needs a bit of work. The wall colors, well you can find those in my house now. It's the interior designer's idea, not mine. I won't anti-alias, because that just not how pixel art is done. It's done all by hand, and it doesn't look right with anti-aliasing sometimes. Thanks everyone for the comments.
