You know what's funny is that with your massive 78 Slayer, you can't even kill some of those monsters you're critiquing hahahaha.

I'm laughing myself silly at anyone who thinks Slayer is a largely AFK skill.

Hair styles for the new school year?
People that cut their hair to be trendy or unique end up just looking like tools. Get a normal hair cut or just grow it out to whatever length you want it.

The Running Thread
Totally agree, I used to be in XC when I was in high school. Just saying that although people think because it's so taxing on the respiratory system and that you get very fatigued from it, that it burns (a lot) more calories than walking or biking. They should read up on it more :)

The Running Thread
Running is a waste of time unless you're in a sport. If you're doing it for weight loss, you could burn almost the same amount of calories per mile walking at a brisk pace than running. Cycling also burns nearly as many.

Remarkable Runescape Characters
So did he still make money off it or what? That much xp without profit would be expensive.

75 Albums you should own, Tip.It version
People only think they're irrelevant or overrated because music's evolved to such an extent that The Beatles have become dated. I do like them but I can only listen to The Beatles if they come on the radio or whatever, I would never choose to listen to them when I've got so much other music I prefer. However, you have to appreciate how important they are to music. So many bands have been inspired by them, whether they realise it or not. It could be directly (for example, Oasis being inspired by The Beatles) or indirectly (The Enemy being inspired by Oasis who were inspired by The Beatles) if that makes sense. Music would be completely different today if it wasn't for those four boys from Liverpool. Sorry, but I don't buy that. Pop music might have been changed by them, but I really don't see why people claim the Beatles changed the face of music completely. There are plenty of other bands out there in each genre that did as much or more for that particular genre than the Beatles did. Besides, why aren't you giving credit to all the bands that started Skiffle? And while we're at it, let's bring it all back to New York City's Tin Pan Alley; the original roots of Skiffle. The Beatles just happened to catch on in their genre and now everyone and their brother has a boner for them and thinks that they've changed the entire world of music. I also don't think that people dislike them because they've become dated. I think people dislike them because they dislike them. I don't judge music on how old it is or if it sounds like it's from 45 years ago, I judge it by how much it appeals to what I like and I really dislike the Beatles. Their songwriting ability was average at best, they had a pile of crap drummer in Ringo Star (I don't believe for a second he was the best drummer in Liverpool), and the only thing they really had going for them was the Lennon/McCartney duo.

Bikes
I wouldn't feel guilty for hitting a person on a bike if they're acting like an idiot just like those guys were and I think that a person driving a car at its top speed recklessly is more dangerous than a fool on a bike going that bicycle's top speed.
-
Bikes
Hahahaha, emotionally harming someone by recklessly riding a bike? Maybe a little adrenaline got leaked into the driver's veins but jeeze, that's about it. If people want to ride their bikes in an unconventional manner, what's it to you? They have just as many rights on the road as moronic drivers do.

Tool And Pink Floyd
I was just going to let it pass because the moderators don't typically like that but yeah, both bands are a major trip that you need to try. Are you sure? Aren't they known for making up rumors to get their fans worked up? I haven't heard anything about a new album yet. They never do that on purpose, they only say when they're going into the studio. It's never a definite date until they release it and anything else is simply speculation. Although I do not doubt they'll release it in 2010, it could be until 2011 if you look at their track record for the last 2 albums.

Those guys were riding one gear road bikes, they had brakes.

I just bought a wonderfully re-furbished and re-tuned 1987 Schwinn LeTour Road Bike for only $150. It rides like an absolute dream.

Tool And Pink Floyd
I don't really think that Tool's music could be considered "angsty" at all. Maybe so on Undertow, but that's it. You're very right in being technically proficient department, especially in their drummer. I've started actually study his drumming in more of sense than just playing along and making my own beats up. I've transcribed his music out on about 4 or 5 songs and all I can say is that there is no one out there that can drum better than him right now. That's where I get hooked so much by Tool. They're really appealing to a certain type of listener and, unfortunately, also to morons that think that Tool is some sort of "godsend". Some fans need to stop pushing Tool on people and bringing it up every two seconds when they're discussing music. You can listen to Tool and just enjoy the music for simply being good music, or you can try to understand the different level of thinking the music is trying to convey. Either way is enjoyable to me.

75 Albums you should own, Tip.It version
No, it's not a bad adjective. I think that people think too highly of the Beatles. I don't think they are a BAD band or that they were not influential, but I do think that critics and listeners give them TOO much credit. Hell, they couldn't even do a live show for half of their career and relied on studios and tape loops to make their music for them. I hate to bring Pink Floyd into it, but they used the same if not more electronics, synthesizers, etc. and they could still play it all live.

"If you're ever in ___, you absolutely HAVE to ___ ___!"
If you're ever in Baldwin, Wisconsin, you absolutely have to go to Cady Cheese Factory. Every Tuesday they have fresh cheese curds. They're still warm and the squeak when you eat them. If you've never had cheese curds THAT fresh, you haven't enjoyed cheese in its best form. Yeah, I know...I'm from Wisconsin.

Music that really 'pumps you up'
Testify by Rage was always on my headphones before I went out for hockey games in high school. Either that or some Lamb of God really pumps me up too.
