  1. General P2P forum and I'm F2P, can I post here? I'm new, i don't know these things :-k , anyway, there wasn't a thread like this in the General F2P forum. My username is Flametrooper; my RSnames Flametr00per, Vaknorr, and now Elvenine, a just-started ranger-to-be. I'd say those are...mostly original, except Elvenine - though I've never seen anything else close, using "elven" is a ranger name definitely marks you down points for originality.
  2. I'm F2P anyway and not a clan person, but because I can see its benifit to those who are of clan-oriented thinking, I'll add my name to the list of supporters.
  3. This is basically reiterating points, but they're good points, so: -Give F2P Mages Snare. Bind is, as has been stated, near useless. -Low level mage pures are overpowered. -At High levels, however, you start to lose power. You can maxhit 16 at level 59 magic, and maxhit 16 and level 99 magic. -Though people ask for more robes with higher physical defense, mages are designed to be a "glass cannon", able to hit massive amounts while not being able to take too much. Proposal:  Snare is made available to F2P. A new damage spell is made accessible to F2P mages at high levels, not a whole new set. Wave is not added, nor is a new set put in. I'm thinking level 75 magic or something, with a max hit of 18. This is the same power as Water Wave, yet far higher level requirement; F2P gets no advantage over members, nor does it reduce the member's advantage over F2P(if it did, Jagex wouldn't do it), but it still evens out F2P. -Questions on the new spell: ---->Name - not many good ideas. Bolt of Wrath? Fire Shot? Magic Blast? ---->Runes required - 2 death, 5 fire, 5 air? Or what about 2 death, 3 chaos, 4 air? ---->Level required - 70-75? That's only my suggestion; feel free to run with it.
  4. I'm F2P, and all I want is better mage stuff and a bigger bank. The reasons for both can be found easily enough on these forums, no need for me to resay them. A possible 3rd addition could be more prayer (Potions or more bones, I'd prefer the potions). All in all, Runescape DOES have one of the best free games/trials for an MMORPG, considering some don't even have them at all. I'm mostly fine with it the way it is. =D>
  5. Hey there! I use the same name, Flametrooper, on a few other online communities, namely Wesnoth (great free strategy game), so some people may recognize me. I played RuneScape about 2 years ago for about a year, became a member, quit, and recently re-began playing, about 1 week before Christmas, and have 2 characters in their high level 20s. The first I created was Flametr00per (I use the name everywhere, heh, but RS wouldn't let me use Flametrooper. Normally I hate numbers in names.), who's a mage, but F2P mages aren't that great, so I made a warrior pure, Vaknorr, as an expirement. They're both newbs right now, but I'm working on them :D and soon they shall dominate...err...well...not be noobs, at least. P.S: I'm also a 13-year-old whose BIGGEST pet peeve is people with preconcieved notions that 13-year-old RS players are automatically immature, gay noobs, have no sense of humor, are unable to participate in a discussion or handle themselves maturely, can't do anything right, and should basically be talked down to. :x (What's worse is, a lot of the other 13-year-old I know really are like that. :x So, this seems a cool enough forum community, from what reading I've been doing...hope to stick around for a while! See you.
