  1. I know a few people who enjoy them, I can't stand them myself. :???:

  3. Hmmm. Sounds about right. someone edited my post with that. I'll track them down and do something to them!
  4. Anyone who plays the game would be able to answer the question, and considering this forum was made for the game they made, people with a legitimate reason to join should know the answer. Those who do not can still google the answer. It's main purpose is to stop bots, which it generally does very well.
  5. Curiosity. Just don't forget that curiosity killed the cat. :-w
  6. Perhaps appropriate, but sometimes people don't know their audience and use completely redundant words since the majority of people would have to look up a word before understanding it. If that were a talk to a big group, then many simply wouldn't understand it. At least on the internet people can look up words, but it's still an inconvenience. I wouldn't use archaic/unused words frequently on TIF for example, since users would end up skipping my posts or find themselves googling a lot of them. Today? Being rung up and asked to do prisoner watch for 10 hours as opposed to my normal public order duty. How about no. I would personally go for it, but that is because of my fickle nature to cure my boredom with any given opportunity, good or bad. From your perspective, I think it's either the 'prisoner' bit or the 10 hours that turns you off from it. It's the sitting down and doing nothing for 10 hours that turns me off. I'd much rather be involved in the dealing with the drunken fools than just one annoyance.

  8. Welcome to Tip.it.
  9. Well, I'd be annoyed if that were my laptop, but then I wouldn't go onto Facebook to insult someone (let alone a parent) when I have them added (though granted you can prevent them seeing it but still, I wouldn't take the chance). Teaches them a lesson though. :shades:
  10. Basically this. The rest of them weren't particularly my cup of tea in the slightest. But really liked those two.
  11. Not really, I can't really feel sympathy unless I know the person or know of them.
  12. Unfortunately I didn't particularly want the LOTPW topic to be locked, however I fully understood the reasons for the necessity of it. In relation to the Funny Images topic, the decision to bring that to OT was completely unrelated to the LOTPW thread. I had in fact suggested it to some staff members before locking the LOTPW even came to light. I recall many years ago having the topics, and they did well with the exception of a few people posting inappropriate content/flooding it by double, triple etc posting. I fought for it and brought it back as a nice addition to OT. As your post says, we don't allow a random image topic in OT, and that remains. The point to the Funny Image topic is to post funny images, and so long as people abide by that, they aren't spamming. A random image thread would have no point/direction, hence us disallowing its existence in OT. As n_odie said, a Skype Chat would work quite well for the LOTPW community, and I'm sure numerous people on the staff team would love that chat also.

Had a lay in, drove back from my gf's home, and am now chillaxing. :shades: Going out for a meal and then drinks with a bunch of officers from my station later, should be good. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just going for the cheesecake...

  16. Can we get it in writing that you won't get back with her? I beg of you.

Funny Pictures! Yup, it's back, so post some funnies. Thread rules: Images posted must be safe for work. NSFW images should not be posted here, not even in hide tags. Images should be funny! Random pictures that are not amusing/are pointless are not to be posted If the image is large, place it in hide tags so that you do not stretch the page for other users Don't make multiple posts in a short amount of time. If you want to post a lot of photos, put them in one post. This thread is a place to post in a few times a day - not once every few minutes. -also- After reviewing our rules concerning profanity, we have decided to permit profanity in all pictures, provided that the current rules that apply to Runescape Screenshots are followed: Profanity must not be excessive, vulgar, profane, or abusive. The purpose of the picture can't be profanity or using it to bypass the filter. Any image with censored words on it must be placed in hide tags with a vulgarity warning. Also, please use common sense whenever posting a picture. If you have to think, "Might this post offend someone?" then you probably shouldn't be posting it. If you have a question about whether a picture will be allowed, you can always PM a moderator or admin so that we can post your picture and take credit for it inform you if it is permissible.

Today I went to work on 4 hours sleep, and now I'm home to finish off that sleep. Good times. :shades: Arrested the highest guy I've ever encountered the other day... lulz were had. He was completely spaced out, had an amusing conversation though.

Likewise. I enjoy ghost movies  but as for the real thing? I'm inclined to say they don't exist. My parents have told me stories of their experiences (voices, bad time with a ouija board, etc), and my girlfriend tells me she believes in them, but there is no such belief in my head. Once we pop our clogs that's the end of us as far as I'm concerned.
  20. Studying English, comes from Kazakhstan (VERY NICE). It means new bathroom and kitchen which is the plan, and they pay a decent amount each month. But this one I cannot stand and needs to gtfo (leaves in a week), he's nothing but rude and takes advantage of anything. I've been biting my tongue for too long so am close to telling him how annoying I find him.
  21. Who said he was peeing?
  22. Shadap, I win.
  23. no you don't >: ( Why is my student making SO MUCH NOISE. And why is he flushing the toilet every hour, no one pees that much. And why does he come downstairs to use the tap in that bathroom? AND WHY IS MY FOOD SLOWLY DISAPPEARING. God I hate the student.
