I always end up getting hit hard by the Archer even if I am atking him with Pro Magic. I haven't tried it with Piety, but wouldn't that drain prayer too quickly?

Well, just did a solo c6 med on f39 and I died 3 times on Skeletal Trio boss. Time sucked too, at 26 min. :[

I am so excited to learn to key. I've always wanted to complete a floor faster than those in w117 and at the same pace as DGS, but wasn't sure whether a group of people would allow a beginner to practice keying, even though DGS appealed to me. However, every time I want to dung with DGS, no one really offers the floors I am doing, so keying will give me the opportunity to expand my knowledge of how to properly use GS and GGS, and allow me to actually get a dungeon with DGS.

I can do that with Hypercam.

Hmm, I'm not sure I have a friend who dungeoneers. I never thought DGS would be willing to lengthen their dungeons to help a beginner keyer practice. This is even better. :)

With Ext Range, bring 1. Wear: FSH, Accumulator, Broad bolts, Blk D Hide, V Skirt, B Gloves, Snakeskin boots, CCB, Unholy Book, Fury, Archer's Ring/Explorer's Ring. Inventory: 5 Brews, 2-3 Super Restores, EEE, and the rest P Pots with 1 space for Ranging Potion (Ext) and 100 Diamond e.

I've been practicing in meds alot, but only once did I practice in larges. Reason being is Obtaurian said on TIF that Meds are great for practicing keying.

So DGS doesn't mind new keyers learning to key even though most floors are 20-30 min larges in the cc?

There must have been a reason why All_Is_Great said to use w148. If not w148, what world can I practice keying without someone yelling at me to hurry up a dungeon. In other words, where should I go to practice keying with people accepting of new keyers practicing their skills?

Would world 148 accept someone with my dungeoneering lvl?

I was talking about altars that I find along the way, but that is true. I usually get unhooded multiple times (sometimes consecutively (2 times in a row), so I will be sure to take off hood. Thanks.

^ Thank you. I usually only die in a dung for prayer if I don't have an altar anywhere in my dung or if I am in severe need of hp and close to death with no food left.

Maybe one or two on accident, but I mostly stick to only clearing GDs and the room before Boss (unless there is one monster). Branch off meaning more than one door in the room or three only?

If you really care about lengthening your trip, bring Yak. However, I would use Geyser for the Range Experience, IMO. I'm sure someone else can provide the specifics better than I can.

I have read the guide about Keying in the General Guides, but I'm still not sure how I should key. I always end up doing 20-25 min dungeons for c6 meds, which isn't very good. I heard that c6 meds solo were the best way to practice keying, but I always seem to have to walk long distances to get to doors. I try to strategically place GGS and GS's, but I always seem to mess up. I can't tell when to place down a GGS or GS so it makes dungeons faster? Anyone got tips on how to improve and how to develop memory of door locations, which herbs make what potions, etc? If you do, please snare. I would greatly appreciate it.

I would recommend toadflax in all patches and snap in troll patch until he gets/unless he has jujus. WRONG! Snaps in all patches, even if one dies, is more profit and xp per run.

^ Actually, even without Jujus, Snaps give more profit per run. As long as he has Scroll of Life activated, he should stick with Snaps.
