  1. Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Depending how far I get the first hour maybe I'll switch to blue or red
  2. For lack of any other ideas, I will be grinding crafting on double exp weekend using Green D'hide bodies. 1. What is the craft rate/hour for green d'hide bodies, assuming I have the d'hide made into leather already? 2. Any better ways to train it? 3. For anyone that did this for last bonus exp weekend, about how much exp can I expect to get? Thanks for any answers
  3. The text under the pic of the woman: Sounds really funny if you're not English  Also the text of "Shot Rat" under the guy's picture is hilarious
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6xqamEd8s0 And to a couple posts up, I still hum the Stickin Around theme too
  5. Apparently they are keeping 50k noncombat troops in Iraq to train the military/police and stuff
  6. Yeah, here in Canada the universities just go off your past marks. I just had to apply to a university, I think send them a transcript of my marks, and I got in.
  7. One more thing if you're taking this thing all the way/long term If you get 99 range/def, as long as your combined attack and strength levels are I think 149 or less, you'll be range based. So that's the max att/str you can have without gaining combat levels.
  8. security officer =/= police officer Okay, you're accused of stealing, so you run. The police will be on the side of the security guard. And I'm pretty sure security guards can arrest people. I'm not sure, though. I've worked as a (contract) security guard (Canada), and we had the ability to arrest people if they were on the premises. We were advised not to though because there are so many possible ways to screw it up that it's best just to let the police handle it. We weren't even trained on arrests, so it probably was citizens arrest, either way I don't think it's necessary in most cases. As a security guard my job was to detect, deter, observe/report. Not going to chase down someone and risk injury/jail for 12.50 an hour. We also never carried weapons or handcuffs, etc (which I think is good)
  9. It's nice not having to worry about SATs ever, I think. I don't even know what an SAT is exactly
  10. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38744453/ns/world_news-mideastn_africa/ Well the troops are out now I guess
  11. The spin offs really sucked, but Reptar was awesome
  12. Turn off subtitles? It's not in English. Learn Norwegian, GOSH! Why not just youtube all the action parts? Because I want to get the whole thing in one watch. To be honest, I dunno why they don't just make an English dub. Sure it would probably sound terrible, but as long as you actually understand what they're saying and see the movie at the same time, it'll still be an improvement. Personally I prefer subs over dubs. Eg. Oldboy, the actors were just so good at speaking and portraying emotion that I feel it would have been missing a lot if they dubbed it.

  14. Eh, it's one of Ferrel's best movies, but that doesn't say much. Seems like it set the tone for the rest of his movies after that. Some foreigns I've seen recently/rewatched Noroi: A Japanese horror filmed documentary style, I'm not one for horror in general but I found this to be pretty well done. Old Boy (south korea): Do I even need to describe this? 10/10 OSS 117 Lost in Rio and OSS 117 Cairo, Nest of Spies (France): I usually hate spoof comedies, the jokes are obvious and predictable, and the characters are complete incompetent bafoons. I was glad this wasn't the case in the OSS movies, I love them both. They're both spoofs of Bond movies, and the main actor has the best [cabbage] eating grin EVER (and his laugh) Survive Style 5+ (Japan): I don't know how to describe this one aside from good, it's filmed sort of like Pulp Fiction (5 different stories inter mix), it's got some laughs and the end is really great and I'd even say heart warming. Taegukgi AKA Brotherhood [of war] (South Korean): It's pretty much the South Korean Saving Private Ryan, except filmed about the Korean war. It's a great movie and turned me on to South Korean movies The Good, The Bad, The Weird (South Korea): Insanely fun, wasn't a boring moment in it. Here's a gif from it that I love Dellamorte Dellamore (Italy): A movie about a man who lives in a grave yard and works as the caretaker. This graveyard however is special, the dead come back to life at night. What I love about this movie is it's no big deal to the main character, it's pretty much routine at this point. It gets more interesting and really reminds me of Army of Darkness, and the main character even looks like Ash. Kung Fu Hustle (China): A perfect mix of kung fu and comedy (really good comedy), and I usually do like martial arts type stuff. Flame and Citron (France): What I think Inglourious Basterds SHOULD have been. Based on real guys And one of the best for last: Tropa de Elite AKA Elite Squad (Brazil): It's about Brazil's elite force (The BOPE) that takes down drug lords in the favelas, it's really great. It shows how corrupt the Brazilian police is and how brutal the BOPE can be.
  15. I do not own a camera, and big to me is 200+ lbs with good lifts. This is what I consider big Hopefully you can contribute to this forum, so welcome
  16. Yeah world 2 is useful, or you could try making a thread on the forums offering to sell/trade the mask and see what kind of offers you get. Don't say that you don't have junk in the thread

You still haven't told us what you're doing, but if you don't want to then fine. Your definition and my definition of big muscles seem to be different I think, to me big muscle is bodybuilder muscle, to you big muscle is...I don't know, but less than bodybuilder muscle
  19. But that's because there are people who do skill
  20. It does, but if we're talking about USA, things are never uniform because of your whole states thing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Samaritan_law#United_States Oh, and Europe

    1. Working on getting fitter. Not working out. Usually when someone says working on getting fitter that means cardio and diet. HAVE you been lifting weights? Dumbbells can do all that, but with only 40 lbs per bar it won't be long at all until you need heavier weights, especially for stuff like bench press. That's why going to the gym is good, they have more weights, and more equipment. 2. No, but it sounds like you want well defined and big muscles, without looking like a bodybuilder. You won't look like a bodybuilder. You'll look like a guy who lifts weight. You can decide to stop lifting or lift for maintenance at any point you want if you're happy with how you look or don't want to get bigger 3. Is the rest of you muscular, or do you just have some meat on your bones? Muscular arms with a regular everything else will still look weird 4. You never said at all what you WERE doing, which leaves us with having to assume. Just give us more details. What have you been doing? Have you been dieting? Have you been lifting? What's your height and weight, and goal weight? Would you say you've got a lot of fat, or are you muscular? etc, the more details the better How am I attacking you? Anyway, try some of these: Triceps: http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Triceps/DBKickback.html http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Triceps/DBLyingTriExt.html http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Triceps/DBTriExt.html Biceps http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Brachialis/DBConcentrationCurl.html http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Brachialis/DBPreacherCurl.html http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Brachioradialis/DBHammerCurl.html
  22. ~1k calories over your maintenance level is good, I don't know what your definition of how many calories your body needs (maintenance or the maintenance + 1k). If you get ~40% of your calories from protein, 40 from carbs, 20 from fat you should be good to go. You'll gain a bit of fat, but that's fine you can cut later if you need to. Assuming you eat clean I agree that weight isn't always a good indicator of progress, but if your goal is to put on or lose weight then it can be. When people say they gain 10 pounds of muscle in a month it makes me roll my eyes E: No update from OP has me guessing this never got past the planning stage
  23. Bloodstain replied to Sy_Accursed's topic in Off-Topic
Well so far, he says he is skin and bone (no cardio) and wants arms =\
  24. We haven't seen pics from anyone else on here, and you don't need them if you back up what you say with sources. How do you know what other people posting here are like when they haven't posted anything about themselves? I mean, you don't look particularly big and I wouldn't have guessed you weren't a beginner had you not told us, no offense at all intended. Actually, un4given posted a thread similar to this, and has impressive lifts http://forum.tip.it/topic/268210-itt-ask-me-anything-strength-related/
  25. Bloodstain replied to Sy_Accursed's topic in Off-Topic
But if you don't want any serious muscle why bother lifting weights at all? If you're literally skin and bone, you're going to look really weird with a couple pounds of muscle on your arms and skin and bone every where else. And while you never said you're only working on your arms, you never mentioned any other working out which led me to assume you don't work any other part. Do you? From what I gathered you don't go to a gym and didn't own weights prior to this thread e: And for finding exercises, I love exrx.net If you want to know how to do a specific exercise and don't want to go through the website's menus and crap, just google (exercise name) exrx and it should pop up
