  1. OP already got two of the greatest, Duck Tales and Dark Wing Duck. Seriously, I have all 100 episodes of Duck Tales and 91 of Darkwing Duck. Two of the best cartoons ever. EWJ was amazing too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJKbsvTNqGY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXiJYcK4-GU Old school TMNT, none of the recent ones can match up to it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90Tueundpyk Scratch that, Turtles Forever was great because it combined the current turtles, the classic turtles, and the bad ass comic turtles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YixMJJzOCoA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9EuVMwAiM8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_zbeX6yoRI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJPYmd8_Qdw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqGQyMF5a_0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-Q7a6SxIBk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZw64rBswqc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ohi52r8fGGE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2e5q6ubDlZE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbqFGapihP0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzdR421Ekv8
  2. You forgot #5 People who feel the need to judge and categorize players
  3. This stuff I posted does say that short burst is better for weight loss.
  4. What do you mean by short bursts? Are you talking each individual session, where intensity does matter (as opposed to doing light jogging/walking), or are you talking about being dedicated to it and doing it consistently every week? Because you said to increase the amount of time and not the intensity, which is what everyone is disagreeing with you about, and that I posted info against in my last post
  5. Just looked in the sky in Winnipeg, where it's supposed to be really good viewing. Nothing :-(
  6. http://ezinearticles.com/?Why-Intense-Cardio-is-Much-More-Efficient-at-Burning-Fat&id=934858 Read more: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/busting-the-great-myths-of-fat-burning.html#ixzz0vbkMrU9P http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training http://hubpages.com/hub/long-duration--low-intensity-vs-short-duration--high-intensity-exercise If you eat at a caloric deficit while lifting weights, you WILL lose fat and gain muscle. Of course, you will lose weight a lot faster if you add cardio, but lifting can achieve weight loss too. The fact that you use the word "tone" says a lot. e: and what the hell, from another forum Pretty much all you need to know. When you are working out at mod intesnity for longer durations (RER of ~0.8) you are burning fat as your energy source WHILST you are exercising. Where as during HIIT (RER 1.0), you are burning carbs as your main energy source WHILST exercising. After HIIT, you enter EPOC - and is when fats are utilised to replenish carbohydrate stores due to carbohydrate depletion/low levels as a result of HIIT.
  7. http://genesis-ap.com/2010/07/23/ultimate-muscle-building-recipe/ That should be cheap, last a while, and be quite filling and healthy. Don't think you're allergic to any of it either
  8. Uh pretty sure that the exercise longer and not harder part is wrong. Free weights will achieve weight loss too, as long as you know how much to eat
  9. Canadians, British, Americans on the same team PLUS Germans? I might be wrong, but sounds like they'd have the biggest team, no?
  10. Yeah, I'm talking -20C (-4F) to -40C/F, around -50(-58F) with windchill, plus snow...think I'll stick to boots and thermal socks boots? this thread is about running. Yes, but I was asking about a shoe that I thought runners would have some experience with. In any case, derail over I guess

  12. If you haven't already, watch Desperado. It's the predecessor of Once Upon a Time, probably a lot better too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_da6o7CJNMc
  13. I vote ACO, I was really let down by IB. The commercials made it look like a actiony movie starring Brad Pitt, but instead we got people sitting around and talking for the majority of it
  14. Heh, was doing my crunches when this over weight dude I'd seen there a few times walked up to the squat rack and put five 45lb plates on each side of the bar. He then proceeded to bend his knees EVER so slightly and then straighten them. Have fun with the [bleep]ed up knees bro
  15. Squats, deads, and straight leg straight back deads with ball crunches at the end. Fridays suck
  16. But you just said it
  17. It's called DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) and the more you workout usually you're less likely to be sore the next day unless you're going intense in the gym. Don't worry about it
  18. You could, but the vibrams at least offer some protection while giving the barefoot feeling. I'm not sure what you mean by long term injury, but if you mean from running barefoot: there are none, it's the most natural way to run. Unless you mean stepping on glass and the like By longterm injury I meant that anything that will seriously hurt your foot will still seriously hurt your foot through thoughs shoe/glove things. Getting your feet conditioned to run barefoot though causes a lot of short term injury (obviously) which is why I clarified. Yeah, maybe a big piece or broken glass or a big ole nail (which would go through shoes anyway), but unless you live in a really dirty area/don't watch where you step there's probably a low chance of that. Likely wouldn't be long term either, just go to the hospital, get it pulled out, get stitches and voila good as new in a couple weeks. The soreness of first using them can be lessened if you slowly transition into them I've heard, haven't really heard of injury from using them as far as I can remember

  20. Not sure if this has been brought up, but there is a great shoe that apparently is just the best thing ever for running. It's called the Vibram Five Finger shoe, it's basically like running barefoot http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/ This the OFFICIAL website, and any other website is a knock off version of the shoe, so beware And here's a thread discussing how good they are http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3171064 I've been considering getting a pair for general every day usage, but I'm torn since winter lasts pretty long and is too cold to wear these here
  21. Man movie of the decade http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMDC76D9l94&feature=player_embedded
  22. Never going to happen. Heterosexuals do and always will vastly out number homosexuals, and so what if the kid becomes a homosexual? Is he going to die or something if he becomes a homosexual? No. Homosexuals will ALWAYS be in the minority, by a lot. This is a [developmentally delayed]ed scenario
  23. Inequality is somewhat decreased. Yay, let's promote aids and children possibly having to grow up without a real mother. Surely a stable family unit is more important than the genders involved. Homosexuality in no way 'promotes' STD's either. Don't feed the troll Logic? It's pretty obvious by your post history that you're a troll. Keep feeding him though everyone
